        Great Football Experience
A brilliant day at the River Boca match, amazing atmosphere and perfectly hosted by Mati. For football fans this is a once in a lifetime experience and you may feel it’s expensive but my advice is just do it. Thanks Mati for a great day. Tom, Gillian and Jack

        Tango show and dinner.
My first time in Buenos Aires and I wanted to see an authentic tango show. I am so happy I picked this tour with Tangol. They picked me and dropped at the hotel. La Ventana venue is amazing! I had a seat on a balcony with great view of the stage. To my surprise dinner was delicious. I had smoked pork marinated in Patagonian beer and pear soaked is Malbec, highly recommend! Portions are big, so don't eat big lunch that day. Show was great! It was definitely above my expectations. It was not just a tango, there were folklore and gaucho performances. Highly recommend this tour!

        Exciting tango show
We booked this tango show and dinner through our tour operator. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by tango show personnel. The pickup was during the suggested time interval and the vehicle was comfortable. It was about a 45 minute ride including picking up additional guests. We arrived at a lovely venue, got seated and placed our dinner orders. Then the guests were invited into another room for some simple tango lessons. After that we returned to the show and dining area and had our multi-course dinner with included drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks). The tango show did not start until around 10pm. I really enjoyed the show and it included a nice variety of dancers and musical performances. It ended after about an hour and we were soon on our way back to our hotel via the vans. The show was great but my wife and I found the food to be mediocre. I would recommend just going for the show. It will be better and cheaper to dine separately.

        Don't buy this tour online!
Save yourself money! The price of this tour if bought at the theater is 14 000 pesos (about 15 USD) . We made a mistake and booked this tour through GetYourGuide for $49 USD per ticket - incredible and shameful rip-off. English tours of the theater are at 10am and 3pm daily - simply by the tickets at the venue and save. Good luck!

        Tango show with dinner
We took in this tango show and were delighted with the incredibly talented dancers. We started off with choosing a appy main and dessert. I choose a salad mushroom risotto and dulce de leche ice cream. The salad was good but basic the risotto was disappointing mushy and not very tasty. My partner had steak and enjoyed it. The dancing didn’t start until almost 1030 but was excellent.

A Bitter Experience at Gala Tango: All Glitter, No Substance
This evening, my friend and I decided to dive into the world of Argentine tango, opting for the Gala Tango show in Buenos Aires at $120 per person, drinks included. The exterior of the building, reminiscent of something between a luxurious hotel and a legendary historical restaurant, raised our expectations. However, as soon as we crossed the threshold, it became clear that the facade was deceptive. The first thing that caught our eye was the steep staircase, trying hard to appear luxurious. The stage, adorned with musicians in white suits and a white piano, promised an unforgettable spectacle. Yet, the audience gathered here was purely touristy, without any dress code, resembling a gathering of random people from all corners of the world, with a majority from China. It was impossible to find among the spectators anyone who truly appreciated tango. The stage lighting, seemingly intended as a dramatic element, only highlighted the absurd wigs of the singer and underscored the overall clumsiness of the production. The singer’s performance, especially her failed attempt to entertain the audience with a satirical dance, provoked laughter, but not in the intended way. The male vocal performance also left the impression of a parody of art. The dance numbers, performed by three couples, would have been more fitting for a village festival than a serious tango show. The abrupt transition to a guitar solo, resembling flamenco, only added to the questions – we came for tango, not this. The atmosphere turned into a farce when a child, wailing throughout the program, appeared in the hall, and a couple, for some reason, devoured steaks during the performance, although dinner was supposed to end before the show started. The evening’s climax came when we were almost threateningly offered to leave tips for the staff and artists, after which we left the hall, not hiding our disappointment. This evening at Gala Tango left us feeling trapped in a tourist gimmick, far from the true art of tango. Clearly, the place has the potential to become iconic, but without quality artistic management and respect for the genre, it’s merely a waste of time and money.

Refused to give tour in English.
We were very excited for this tour. At the beginning the young woman who lead the group indicated that she would give the tour in Spanish, and then repeat what she said in English. However, once the tour left the lobby, she indicated "this tour isn't in English" and only answered direct questions. I'm assuming this was because her supervisors weren't present to know that she wasn't doing her job. We paid over $165 for this tour and we learned nothing. The building was beautiful, but we only received a walk-through in Spanish, so we didn't really learn much about it. We left feeling ripped off. When we asked the guide why she wasn't giving the tour in English as well, as was indicated at the beginning, she became annoyed and walked away. It's unfortunate for her because we tip very generously our guides and she received nothing because she did nothing. We felt like it was a bait and switch.

        The best
This is a marvellous tango show, and premium gourmet dinner. Great tango music performed live, energetic dancers and performers, all very tastefully dressed in beautiful costumes. I have seen it before, and will come again.

        Great show but skip dinner
As said by many, the quality and content of the show was v good and entertaining even if it did stretch to nearly midnight. We booked through our hotel and it wasn't ultra expensive for show+dinner+transfer from hotel and back. Down sides 1. the dinner tables at front of theatre were jammed packed together with v little space between them or for getting out to toilet and were also v uncomfortable nor was view great as you were seated at an angle 2. The photo ops with dancers were a bit grabbing and charged at $20 each photo rising to around $25 if you used credit card 3. Food was v basic - soup ok, steak big and tasty but tough, veg a bit cold and nothing special and dessert was ok probably the best and 4. The inclusive alcohol was not v free flowing - had to try hard to get attention of waiting staff who were business like but not v friendly (however request for tips was v direct)!

        Save your money.
Save your money. Crowded in like sardines, poor view of stage area, rushed meal served while show was ongoing. Terrible food & poorly planned event.

        Full day at the ranch
We arrived about 11:00 AM from the city, and after leaving the bus, we began our visit by lining up for a small cup of wine and empanadas which we ate inside a large open pavilion of sorts. Pretty quickly, we lined up for a horseback ride. They were pretty docile horses for the most part, I guess for our own protection as the ones we saw later in the show had lots of spunk. Essentially, we mounted from a raised wooden walkway, then we all followed a young fellow on his horse, and trotted in a larger circular route that brought us back to the building. We crossed two old bridges and followed a path through fields. After the horses, we strolled around, looked at the other horses, the pigs, a peacock, and chickens. Old relics of cars too. Time for lunch, in a large hall, salads, fries, sausage and blood sausage, chicken, beef. The salad was carrots and lettuce, a blood sausage and another sausage. The beef, though ample, was on the tough side. The dancing and music show were very good. After lunch, we all sat on bleachers for a gaucho show. It was very good, but heavy rain hit and shortened it little. There was a partial roof over one bleacher Next came a coffee break in the hall; we were supposed to have been given maté, but we never saw any. A good day all in all, and nice to see some of the land outside the city.

        Very informative
Excellent and very informative guided tour. This classy, extremely grand, high quality, elegant building has a rich history. The architecture of this opera house is amazing. Love the mosaics throughout.

        Great guided tour
The English speaking guide was fluent and had a sense of humor. The facility is magnificent and as grand as many European ones. We had a few difficulties getting the actual tickets via this app but in the end it worked out.

the show is good, food can improve
the show is in a large underground cellar, with tables for 10 clients crammed one against the other food option and quality ( inevitably) is limited, with the dining experience being a mix of a mess hall and a noisy concert the show is well designed and performed professionally, so if you have never seen tango it is a worthy introduction
