About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- robertjV2676LZ0 contributionsCemetery ridiculously expensiveThis has to be the most expensive grave yard to visit in the world. Yes many of the graves are impressive but why is it so crazy expensive 18 USD/ person. The paths are very neglected holes and tripping hazards are everywhere. They are collecting a fortune but they spend nothing on the place. They do have functioning toilets but they are about the only things there that are not neglected. The recent huge price rise is certainly not justified. I assume the government takes all the money but gives nothing back. Shameful.Written January 10, 2025

- Brenda S0 contributionsWorth doingThe tour was cute. Fun little stories that made the cemetery more interesting . But it felt like it took forever to get organized and get started. We waited for people quite a while. We met by the huge tree out front. The guide wore a yellow shirt. Other people gave us that info, but it would have been nice if it was included on the email confirmation. We were surprised by the price to go into the cemetery. US $15/each. It’s worth it, as it is a really unique cemetery . We only covered a small portion of the cemetery in the tour. We wish we had gone early and wandered around ourselves to see before the tour started. Because the tour ends when the cemetery closes. Overall, worth it!Written January 8, 2025
- patonashbrook0 contributionsHistory told by a great storytellerOur tour guide Jimena was incredible! We had an amazing time and learned so much, including some details about Evita we didn’t get from our visit to the Evita Museum. She was engaging, enthusiastic and very funny! - Christian245_Zurich0 contributionsExcellent tourWe booked the Recoleta cemetery tour via "Get your Guide" with BA Urban Walks. Our guide was Jimena. I can only praise the professionalism of her tour highly. Her style of presentation brought the history of the cemetery to life! She knew how to tell historical and human stories about the selected tombs so vividly that you were literally carried away. I definitely recommend visiting the famous Recoleta cemetery with a guided tour, because the beautiful tombs have a rich history, but someone has to convey it. Jimena did this so excellently that we will not forget this tour for a long time.Written January 6, 2025
