    Most Engaging Experience
When I knew I would be in Buenos Aires, I intentionally searched for a tour that would highlight the black experiences in/contributions to Argentina. I was completely blown away the tour and our guide, Ms. Ekene. Not only was she very knowledgeable about Afro-Argentine history, but she was also very engaging with us a group, having dialogue with us instead of just lecturing. Our tour ended before the Candombe events of the night (Sunday evening) so it was great to cap off the experience with that. We loved it so much that we told other members of our LARGE traveling group, and they booked the experience as well. 100/10

    The Trip of a Lifetime
We did a wonderful, 3 week holiday in South America, including a week long, small ship cruise, from Buenos Aires to Rio. Without any doubt, the highlight of this entire trip – the most memorable days – were the ones we spent with Lunfarda Travel and their incredible staff. First, we did a full day, private tour of Buenos Aires, (“BA 101,” see separate review), which was absolutely fantastic. On this tour, though, we did a complete overnight, 2-day excursion, from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls, all organized by Lufarda and with two Lunfarda guides. (There were 18 in our LGBT group). Wow. This was a stunningly good experience. Every detail was impeccably organized, from the 4am pickup at our hotel to the return, at 1am, 2 days later. (Yes, there were some long days, but plenty of opportunity to rest and relax too). Our Iguazu hotel was amazing. The guides could not have been more attentive and considerate of our needs. The hikes, views, boat excursions, cocktail parties, lunches . . . All were absolutely perfect. The itinerary, which included both the Argentinian and Brazilian side of the falls, was about as complete as you can imagine and there were even fun “contingency plans” to accommodate the unpredictability of the border crossing process. This was the trip of a lifetime. Thank you Lunfarda.

    Buenos Aires Queer History
We are home from our travels to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. We wanted to let you know that at the top of list of wonderful experiences was the Queer Tour in Buenos Aires with Rodrigo on Good Friday March 29. Thank you for arranging it, complete with pick up at our hotel and drop off at the pier for the cruise with Vacaya.   Complete with luggage! Rodrigo was super friendly, knowledgeable and a great guide for our brief time in Buenos Aires. Important to keep the Argentina queer history alive. We highly recommend the tour with Rodrigo.  Working with Lunfarda Travel was a pleasure - especially Marianna & Sylvia.

    Best Tour Ever!!
Perfectly planned 2 day trip to Iguazu Falls! Every detail was top notch and made for the most enjoyable part of our 2 week trip to South America. Amazing tour of the falls, 5 star accommodations and food, sunset cocktails, comfortable transportation, and the best guides ever! Incredible experience in every way!

A day to remember for the rest of our lives . . .
The day was just about perfect and we could not have been happier. Our guide, Joanna, was so knowledgeable and engaging that we just fell in love with her. Even better, she knew when to hit each spot, so as to minimize crowds, and our driver got us in-and-out of places so easily, and with minimum walking, (one of us preferred not to go long distances). If you have limited time in Buenos Aires, or want to get a good overview to decide what spots to spend more time in, this is the perfect tour. They even recommended dinner venues, which we tried over the next several days, and were not disappointed by a single one.

our favorite so far in BA
This was a wonderful tour, perhaps our favorite so far in Buenos Aires. (It was the Jewish Heritage Walking tour.) Our guide, Candela, was warm & friendly, and full of interesting stories & facts. Each stop of the tour covered a different aspect of Jewish life & history in Argentina. But Candela also provided us with insight into Argentinian culture, as well as recommendations on other places to go & things to do during our stay in the city. This tour is well worth the time & money, and most importantly, it was fun & interesting.

A good tour to some lesser known sites
It was an amazing experience. As travelers one always visits churches and cathedrals. This tour focussed on the Jewish experience in Argentina, and included a visit to the Jewish Museum, the large centrally located synagogue, and two sites where Jews were targeted by bombers. Argentina has the fifth largest Jewish population in the world and a storied history of immigration, and it was a pleasure to spend some time learning about it. We ended the day at Recoleta Cemetery, in the late afternoon when it was a tad cooler on a broiling day. (Only one Jewish person is buried there. ) The cemetery is another tourist attraction, but it was large enough to absorb the visitors so that there were moments of solitude. All in all, a good tour, and our guide Fernando was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful Introduction to a Buenos Aires
Terrific Tour Service and Guide On our first trip to Buenos Aires we wanted an overview of the City. We took a chance and were lucky to find a terrific agency and tour guide. Most reviews only focus on the guide. The Lunfarda agency was outstanding. They kept in constant contact with us and provided us clear instructions on where to meet our guide. Sounds simple, but for a couple who had never been to the city before, clear instructions lead to a great experience and low stress level. Our guide, Rodrigo, was equally fantastic. As a history teacher, our guide was knowledgeable and clear speaking. He provided us with a complete overview of the history of the region and the history of the specific area we visited. He responded to all of our questions and made our experience a great memory and introduction to a beautiful city. I would highly recommend the agency and its stable of tour guides

An Incredible Tour-Not to be Beat!
I can't begin to explain how amazing this tour was. Our tour guide was Julia Cohen, who was so engaging and really personalized the experience! Her knowledge base is over and above what most tours are like. It really is terrific to go to another country and learn about our Jewish community. I would certainly highly recommend Lunfarda Travel for this tour, as well as the food tour which we also took. This tour company chooses unique individuals who are passionate about their subject, and also have personal experiences which they share. This is one terrific company.

I had a great time. Augustina (sp?) was very knowledgeable and personable. She provided a great background on the origins of San Telmo, Boca as well as all of Buenos Aires and Argentina. Our conversation extended beyond the tour and covered current events, music and food.

Had a great tour with Rodrigo, a local history teacher and foodie, who loves to share the history of his city, and knows where to find the best empanadas in the city! I highly recommend this tour company for its unique tours, personal service and the quality of staff and guides. Five star!!!!!

Mariana was great! Knows tons about the history and culture of her hometown, always with an interesting story or anecdote about whatever we were visiting. We loved seeing some of the less popular tourist attractions and seeing real places where real people live. We loved her first tour so much, we showed up the next day for another!
