Full day of adventure and learning about the beautiful Colonia and Uruguay.
This tour was amazing. The hotel pickup/transfer to and from the port terminal was easy and prompt with very courteous staff. The walking tour in Colonia was very informative and the guide was entertaining and knowledgeable and eager to answer questions and gave insightful information on Colonia, as well as Uruguay and its history.

Do the wine tasting, Tango lessons, dinner and the show! Fun! Fun! Fun!
This Tango Show takes you through the History of The Tango in Buenos Aires. Excellent dancers and singers. We had the dinner as well. You are allowed to choose the items you want: We took the pumpkin cream soup, steak (bife de Chorizo) and lemon ice cream. They had lamb, pork, chicken, risotto, pasta and vegetarian options as well. The meal came with free beverages as well: wine, mineral water, soft drinks, beer, coffee or tea. Very efficient serving! I recommend you go to a different show each time you visit Buenos Aires as they are all different and fun. We also had Tango lessons and Wine tasting a few hours before the show started. Very fun day.

      Amazing Show!!
The music, singing and dancing were absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend this dinner & show combo. The food was delicious as well. The food is served first so if you are not getting food you can arrive a little later as the show doesn’t start until after 9:30. Such a great night, well worth it!

Don’t miss the chance to spend a day in Colonia
Definitely worth a day trip from Buenos Aires and recommend staying overnight if you have time. Quite easy to buy a ticket for the ferry online from Colonia Express and walk around the town on your own. Is quite compact and has a very laid back vibe as soon as you get off the boat. Lots of good cafes and restaurants in the old port even in the winter and weather was a pleasant 17C.

I’d do it if I were you and struggling to find a decent show
Great show- we only did the show and had a dessert or starter included. Dessert was quite tasty, and the show was fantastic. A good introduction for a foreigner. We didn’t feel crammed in and thankfully there was no pillar in the way. For those seats, a bit of shuffling of your chair would still make the experience work, but perhaps they should discount those seats to some degree. I’d recommend it!

      Amazing!
The place is amazing, an old bricked building from the 1850's. The service, the food and the show were excellent! I definitely recommend it!!

Terrible experience. Did not see tango
Venue was pretty but if you want to see below the shoulders skip it. $200 wasted. Went to LaQuerandi and had a great experience for about $50.

      Totally worth it
This was totally worth it! We took a day trip from Buenos Aires. There is so much charm in Colonia, and lots of good food. The ferry was easy, even with customs.

      Interesting and beautiful
Interesting, well organized, the ferry was great! The communication and punctuality with the tour organizers in Buenos Aires was better than expected. Highly recommended! Customs in Uruguay and Argentina were fast. It was a nice experience to visit Colonia de Sacramento as it is so close to Buenos Aires, and you will learn some history about this village and their Spanish and Portuguese influence. Our tour guide in Uruguay was Anabel, very kind and passionate about her town. If you want to try a Chivito sandwich, find the local food trucks located a couple of blocks away from the tourist area. Try the Juana La Loca alfajor! :D

      Wonderful shopping tour guy.
Wonderful Albert tour and driver. He have done a terrific job to guide and take care of us during shopping time. We ran out of cash so we could not tip him, but we really appreciated his enthusiasm.

A good overview of gaucho culture for 5 hours
Did this tour in a cool and sunny day which makes it a lot more attractive . You get picked up at the hotel and then driven to the ranch. Thereafter at 1100-1630hrs you are invited to partake in horse rides, horse carriage ride, talk in gaucho culture, lunch with a good and entertaining show highlighting the fences in the region as well as a quick overview of tango. This is followed by gaucho tricks on horses and a tea with mate . It ticks all you want to see in outside BA and was okay for me . I left happy and satisfied . Will recommend in future . Just be aware that this outdoor, so bring sunblock and insect repellent and your shoes will get muddy at some parts

City Tour Buenos Aires - did not meet expectations
We took a 4.5 hour Premium City tour on 4 March 2024 & we were disappointed. The first hour was spent doing pickups at 5 or 6 other hotels. The pre-booking through Viator listed the stops & we did not do Calle Defensa Bairro San Telmo, the Mafalda statue & Dulce de Leche tasting & we spent less time at other stops. We did pass by a number of landmarks listed but not slowing down or close enough to enable photos from the bus. The highlight was La Boca, Caminito where we did have free time to walk a bit. Colourful & enjoyable there.

Forget the food and drinks go for show. The venue and production was wonderful. The food was bland and cold. You are going get a bottle of red which was OK. No chardonnay.

Hi, thank you for posting your review. We regret to hear that your experience was not as you expected. It is an French-style Art Noveau theater where Carlos Gardel would sing in 1930s. It was totally recycled and it is very well preserved that is why it looks dated. Most of the tango shows starts late, around 10 pm. Regarding the food, it is usually good but you cannot expect to have a special dinner, specially if you do not buy the VIP ticket. Cordially, Carlos Booking Dept.

Every time I go to Buenos Aires, I choose a dinner with a Tango show to visit. This time the chosen one was Piazzolla Tango. I was a little disappointed. I expected more dancers in the show, I expected them to play more well-known tangos (the famous ones only played "Por una cabeza"), the food also left something to be desired. Average environment. NOT WORTH
I paid $80. I am not coming back.

Good service until the tip was not what was expected. They stop by the table to take photos and then charge 12 dollars, but it seems like there's no way to deny it and at no point were we informed of the price.

Another point is the quality of the food, average. It's not worth the price.

And finally, the still water served was not mineral :/, it seemed to come from the tap.

The show was better than the shows.

Cordialmente, Carlos

The show itself was pretty cool, but the meal leaves a lot to be desired. Furthermore, the waitress was no longer reluctant due to lack of space. It's not worth the price paid. It's definitely better to pay a little more to go to another tango house, as it's an unmissable attraction in Buenos Aires.
