    Best Food We Ate!
Frank was an amazing host with so much knowledge about the city and history of not just the area but the country. The food was excellent!!! Hands down the best meat and meal we had in all of Argentina. We had a wonderful walk around part of the city where he pointed out local street art and gave us the names and history of the artists. A stop at a wine shop for a bit of wine tasting where I of course bought a couple bottles. Then back to his home to eat. And it was so so much food. Definitely come hungry! Highly recommend.

Must Try Experience in Buenos Aires!
Asado Adventure was definitely a highlight of our trip to Argentina! Frank is such a gracious host and has curated such a beautifully informative experience. We learned so much about regional and local culinary, art, and political history as we explored the Palermo Viejo neighborhood. We also got to taste some of the best food we had on our trip during the experience. Having a hand in making some of the food made it all the more memorable. Frank was also great in giving us more recommendations on local shops and places to try so that our adventure could continue. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Buenos Aires!

A great 'taste' of urban Argentina!
We very much enjoyed this unique local experience with our expert guide, Agustin! It's hard to find an experience that combines history, art, food, wine and great conversation - all in a half day's leisurely stroll around such a beautiful city. It was my wife's favorite part of our time in Buenos Aires! We would highly recommend this casual outing to get a great 'taste' of urban Argentina...

    Pizza Tour in Buenos Aires
We enjoyed the Asado Adventure tour with our kids and had a great time! We saw a different part of the city and learned more about its history plus tried four different styles/flavors of pizza plus a sweet treat to end the night. Frank was a great guide and ensured we have a good time.

    Must do in Buenos Aires!
This whole experience was amazing. We felt like we got at least 4 different experiences in one— asado, street tour, wine tasting and cooking lesson. Frank has thought of it all when constructing this Asado Experience. We were welcomed into his home where he gave us a background on himself and told us the plan for the day, highlighting that his daughter would be taking photos so we could be fully present and enjoy the day, and receive the photos after. We jumped right in to make the chimichurri sauce and prepare the fire for the asado. Then, we were taken on a tour of the neighborhood whilst shopping for a couple last ingredients for our asado. Frank told us about famous street art and history as we were passing through the neighborhood. He is an excellent story teller. When we got back to the house we were welcomed to the table where a sommelier and Frank led us through a wine tasting. The food started to come off the asado shortly after. This was easily the most delicious meal we had in Buenos Aires. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. This tour was abundant in all— thoughtfulness, history, food, drinks, authenticity, and making us feel at home.

    A great food tour!
We had a fantastic day with Josefina. We explored several parts of Palermo, stopping for amazing food - including black sausage, steak, empanadas and gelato. Josephine was very knowledgeable, providing just the right amount of information and history about the area, making it personable and accessible. We learned a lot from her! I’d highly recommend this company, the communication was great and it was absolutely good value.

    Short Notice Booking was Wonderful
International travel delays meant that we were unable to book a food tour until the night before. Fortunately, Francisco from Asado Adventure was able to knit together a half day (3-hour) Palermo walking food tour for six of us on short notice. We met our guide Josefina at Doña Tota restaurant, where football posters covered the walls and diners filled the tables, and she gave us a short introduction to morcillo, Argentinian beef, various garnishes, and the use of the “Pinguino” decanter to pour wine. Next, we wandered the Palermo neighbourhood to admire many of the brightly coloured murals, and to listen to Josefina’s explanations of the area’s history, architecture, and demographics. Our second food stop was at Alto Chori, where Josefina introduced us to three different types of Choripan. After more wandering, our final stop was at Antiche for some delicious gelato. Throughout the trip Josefina was knowledgeable, engaging, and fun, and we really enjoyed our short food tour with her. We also thought the tour was fairly priced.

This is the tour/experience you want to book!
Do yourself a favor and book this experience! This was the highlight of my trip to Argentina! Frank, originally from Chicago, IL, was very warm/welcoming and has such a beautiful and unique house in Palermo. Went for walk to get various ingredients for our lunch and the guide pointed out street art and historical facts. Really unique way to see the city and I learned a lot. After the street tour, we went back to Frank's house and he cooked us a fantastic lunch. Wine, cheeses, meats, etc. Everything was perfectly prepared. My friend and I made chimichurri sauce and candied nuts. Frank and his tour guide took photos of the entire experience and put together a photo book of the entire experience. Wow! So much more than just a lunch, a full authentic and unique experience and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! Better than expected! Thank you so much!

The best thing I did during my 5 days in Buenos Aires!
Booking this experience was not an immediate yes since I was a solo traveler but Frank did everything he could and found 2 other people to join which I really appreciated! This experience exceeded my expectations. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the tour around Palermo, going to buy the meat, I loved the cheese and wine tasting, and the prepping of the chimichurri sauce. His home is absolutely beautiful and I’ll miss our second tour guide Palta who was so well behaved and affectionate. The food was unbelievable and I still think about it to this day. Everything was cooked to perfection by the chef and had so much flavor. Frank’s hospitality is 5 stars and I recommend anyone coming to Buenos Aires to do this tour.

Palermo history and food experience! Not to be missed!
A great tour of Palermo and vicinity with Frank who gave us great insights to both the rich local history as well as a wonderful food adventure. The combination of both were just perfect. Made it fun, got in some needed walking and the conversation was wonderful. His ability to customize to what we wanted was the best and we will be returning for much more! P.S. the wine tasting was amazing.

This is THE best way to discover craft beer scene of Buenos Aires. Colegiales is full of great breweries and Frank knows them all. I definitely need to return to all those places for a few pints more someday.

Delfina was our guide and she was warm, friendly, and fun. We visited four breweries, tried a dozen beers, and she explained craft beer in the city. The beer was excellent, the tour was interesting, and our guide is a true professional. This tour is definitely worth the investment of several hours of your Buenos Aires time.

My best travel experiences nowadays usually revolve around discovering local craft beer breweries, and this tour was a great way to find some I would never have found otherwise, and Frank's knowledge about the local craft beer scene is second to none. Highly recommended!

Okay, this tour was really fantastic. My cousin and I took this tour with Frank, and we absolutely LOVED it! We hit four places: one "beer store"/tap room, and four craft breweries. I used to brew beer as a hobby, and I can tell you I didn't have one bad or compromised beer in the lot. They were all true-to-style and delicious! We even had some Argentine bar food at one of them. One was a fried provolone cheese that was absolutely mouth-watering! Don't touch the hot skillet, though. My cousin learned the hard way . Frank is an ex-pat from Chicago, but he's lived there over 20 years, so he knows his stuff. Don't hesitate to take this tour, you won't regret it. AND if you happen to stay at Miravida Soho hotel, he might even come and get you himself! He lives nearby. Thanks, Frank!

Hi Tim! I am so glad you enjoyed the tour and the beer! I had great fun showing you my favorite places and even showing you some of the local food favorites. I think I might include the beer store as a starting point from now on because it's such a great place to try a variety of beers from all over Argentina.

The Craft Beer Adventure is a must-do tour if you're looking to experience great, local craft beer at some authentic, eclectic locals-only places. We hit the ground running, choosing to go on our tour pretty much immediately after we landed in Buenos Aires and we were so glad we did! Our tour guide Frank, was very accommodating to our needs and was an absolute pleasure to spend an evening with checking out the Colegiales neighborhood going over all manner of things - food, beer, art, Buenos Aires, history, travel. He is extremely knowledgeable and very easy and fun to talk to. Frank even sent us recommendations and pictures he took during our tour after! Everything about the tour was wonderful - the beers, the food, the breweries we visited - and after going on 4 different beer tours throughout Buenos Aires throughout our time there, I can easily say this one was our favorite (and probably the best!).

Thank you so much for the great compliment! I didn’t even know there were that many other beer tours available. I had great fun showing you the various brew pubs. It was also an eye opener seeing just how much the pandemic changed these establishments. I am also grateful for your beer recommendation in Chicago, which I am planning on visiting tomorrow. Once again, thank you for taking the tour with me and for taking the time to leave these kind words.

I compare this experience to the documentary series Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. Frank takes the role of an ex-Pat friend and conversations about local culture, Argentine economy, history, and art spills out over a few pints. Tour is more in depth than just beer.

I had a great time on the craft beer tour with Frank. He took me to what I consider the best craft breweries and craft beer bars in Buenos Aires. Because of his connections I got to meet some of the owners and brewers. I highly recommend his tour if you want to find the best craft beer in the city!
