Amazing Boat Ride and Adventure on the Tigre Delta!
If you are going to splurge on anything on your Visit to Bueno Aries this Private Boat Tour to the Tigre Delta is the thing to do. Our Tour Guide Andres was very knowledgeable in the history and details of Bueno Aries and the Tigre Delta. From our pickup at our hotel to the river he drove us through the city and delighted us with his live commentary about everything we passed by. When we reached the river, we went on an hour + scenic cruise through the remote charming islands on the Tigre Delta and River. It was fascinating, tranquil and very relaxing. Don’t miss this on your visit!

A Fantastic Tour with a Brilliant Guide
Our tour guide, Andres, was exceptional. He arrived early for our appointed time, was warm and welcoming, and his car was new, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Andres gave us a personalized history of Buenos Aires and Argentina, including photographs, maps, and anecdotal stories of early settlers and various revolutionary figures, including Juan and Eva Peron. My wife and I have traveled extensively, all over the world, and we have had many tour guides. Andres ranks as one of the very best, and we heartily recommend him.

          Excellent tour!
My wife and I loved this tour. Mirta our guide and Hugo our driver were both excellent. Mirta was so informative and made the very best of our four hour trip. This gave us a fantastic overview of this wonderful city. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience with Lourdes as our guide
Had a great private tour with Lourdes. She was exceptionally knowledgable and clearly loves what she was doing. Most importantly, she was very responsive to our needs, and really customized the the tour to what we wanted to see and do (many private tours still give you a "canned" tour". Highly recommend the company and especially Lourdes

Excellent - Buenos Aires in a day!
What an amazing day, we saw the main sights of the city and the commentary/historic background provided by Marina was exactly what we needed to understand both the sights and the people. We had lunch in the market, a perfectly cooked steak, it was delicious and very reasonably priced :o). There was plenty of time to explore the various sites. The air conditioned car was in very good condition and the driver, Roberto, knew the city like the back of his hand. At the end of each walk Marina would call Roberto and he would be there with the car almost instantly. Very well organised. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone needing to discover the ciry in a day.

          Two Excellent Guides in Argentina
I traveled with my daughter to Buenos Aires for a week. We hired both Andres (1/2 day city tour) and Alexandra ((Tigre) through Tours by Locals. I would recommend them both very highly for giving us both a fun and informative experience.

An amazing experience, a must when in town.
It was amazing. Daniela, our guide, managed to make it an unforgettable experience. She was very knowledgeable, and was able, through her passion for her job, to share not only the beauty of the city but also the cultural aspects of the Porteños and the Buenairenses as well as some recipes. Thank you Daniela!

A day that needs to last a week
Our day started at the port of Buenos Aires... Being picked up by Rosty who had a car and a driver with him. We drove down to the city and started at the Metropolitan cathedral watching probably the oldest change of guard ceremony. We were at the right time and made it to the perfect spot in the cathedral to see and capture the changing of the grenadier guards, who came from the Casa Rosada crossing the Plaza de Mayo to the mausoleum in the Cathedral. Enjoyed seeing and hearing it's history and artificats. Then proceeded towards the May square and posed in front of the pink house... Headed across to see the obelisk and then drove down to Boca with its colourful houses and street vendors, ate some street food and bought souvenirs and went to the La Bombonera stadium or the chocolate box called like so due to its unique shape. Then we drove down to San Telmo, one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, there was a street flea market selling very many unique Argentinian crafts and then visited the store of the most prestigious silversmith in the country Juan Carlos Pallarols who is around 80 years of age.... Met with man himself and then wandered across to the famous Mercado de San Telmo. This is a vibrant market bustling with countless stalls offering a diverse range of antiques for sale and offering very typical Argentinian cuisine. We ate some grilled meats and some lovely empanadas... We in fact boxed some empanadas to take back to our ship too. From here we drove down to Hangar Uno and took a helicopter across the city Seeing the many stadiums and city from the air was indeed very fulfilling and satisfying. This was for nearly 45 minutes by the time it was the end of the day and we headed back to port and got back to the ship... Only to wish to come back again for a better and longer trip in the future... Would say Rosty is knowledgeabke and a splendid tour guide.... He made Buenos Aires come alive

Great tour if you have just one day in Buenos Aires!
Communication with Andres was so easy. We made several changes and it was never a problem. Our guide Lourdes was knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver was terrific. Lourdes sat with us in van so we could all hear her! She made great suggestions for lunch and snacks. We saw so much in one day. We all want to return and spend more time in Buenos Aires now.

Fabulous Customized All Day Tour of Buenos Aires
My husband and I had an all day tour with tour guide Alexandra and driver Hugo. She was so knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the city, its history, also very personable. Hugo was a great driver. Since it was a customizable tour, we spent more time in the Rose Garden (we’re big walkers and the parks and open spaces are awesome) and went on our own the next day to the famous cemetery since was in our neighborhood. We totally recommend this company and these guides.

HIGHLIGHTS OF BA TOUR - JUST DO IT!
Andres was a fantastic guide - pleasant, funny, kind, knowledgeable and adaptable. He tailored the tour for our family with teens (he gave us just the right amount of history - enough to captivate the kids without boring them!). He showed us several fascinating neighborhoods, stopped for ice cream and lunch, and managed to get us back to the hotel in perfect time. The car was new, comfortable and clean. It was the perfect introduction to BA. Just do it, you won’t regret it! Thank you so much Andreas for this wonderful memory of Argentina.

We took a private tour of Buenos Aires and Marita was our guide. She was excellent at explaining both the historical and current significance of the buildings, sections of the city and the social/political situations. Having a private tour, she offered us flexibility to emphasize different places to visit, eg San Telmo Market. This was much appreciated. We enjoyed our day and would recommend Marita as tour guide.

We spent a day and a half with Andres, on the Tigre Delta and in BA. He was a wonderful guide, almost like an old friend. He shared his own experience of growing up and living here as well as his knowledge of the history. For our short stay in BA, we enjoyed spending it with him.
