I Hate to Give This Lovely Hotel a 4 Star Rating!
I specifically chose this hotel because it had a 5 star review so it kills me to only give it 4 stars in my review.

We really enjoyed the wine tasting. Sandra did an excellent job explaining the wines and wine regions in Argentina and chose some excellent wines for us to taste. The hotel is lively and very accommodating. I definitely recommend this experience for others!

The group was small and everyone had a chance to ask questions and share what they thought about the wines we tasted. Wine selection was great and the sommelier shared some good recommendations. Very good price for the experience!

What a delightful experience. As wine makers the knowledge of the sommelier was amazing. The ability to teach novices to taste, smell and experience wine wss beyond anything i have experienced. Highly reccomend whether you sre a novice or expert.

What can I say about Pablo? He's awesome! My cousin, his son, and I signed up for this not even realizing it was in the same hotel in which we were already staying! That was convenient! Pablo gave us a great tableau of Argentine reds along with a charcuterie that was fantastic! My cousin was so impressed that he went back the next night for a selection of whites and sweeter reds! Anyway, after our first night we convinced Pablo to hang around for some 13yo Wild Turkey that my cousin purchased at the airport on the way into the country. It was a bourbon we can't find here in the US. We kept Pablo up WAY past his bedtime, but he was even able to coach us in what he was tasting the in the bourbon. Have no doubt about this wine tasting, but don't be a wine snob and know-it-all, and you'll have a great time!

A small-Group Wine Tasting guided by our exquisite sommelier Pablo at the Miravida Boutique-Soho Hotel this last Saturday evening. I must say this was one of the most interesting and rich experiences I have ever had. His knowledge about different and up-coming varieties of wines, his ability to capture the human nature of each of the guests, and his sensitivity, all helped to create a relaxing and tasty evening. Thank you, Pablo!!

Excellent wine tasting! The sommelier, Pamela, was knowledge and passionate about her wines. The selection was wonderful, complemented by tasty cheese and empanadas. Highly recommend! We were fortunate to have the tasting limited to our family of three, although it was listed for up to eight people. My only suggestion is that the wines be for sale with shipment provided. We would have loved to have made purchases if they could've been shipped direct!

Pablo was extremely knowledgeable about wines in general, wine tasting, and the various aspects of Argentine wines and regions. My wife and I are knowledgeable about most wines of the world, but no so much when it comes to South America other than book knowledge and the occasional bottle of Malbec. We were fortunate to have Pablo to ourselves as we could do a deep dive. However, we always love a small group so we can converse and get to know new people with similar interests. Hotel staff was great (although we didn't stay there). The small food plate was nice and finished with the BEST homemade empenada by the hotel manager. Wines were very interesting including a white blend of Chard/Gertwurtz/Sauv Blanc (never would have thought that blend would work, but it did), rose, malbec, and cabernet sauvignon. Pablo wowed us with a bottle from his personal stash. All wines were very good to excellent quality and the overall experience was excellent.

Such a great experience in Buenos Aires. My wife, mother-in-law, and I had a chance to go and spend an evening with Pablo learning about wines in Argentina. Not only was he knowledgeable, but fun to listen to, and made the evening pass by quicker than we thought. Wonderful winds, great pairings, beautiful location. Definitely a fun thing to do if you are interested in trying different types of Argentinian wines, and want to have some thing simple, yet fun, to do one evening.

We ended up having a private wine tasting. The sommelier was very knowledgable and very engaging. The wines were excellent and it was good to learn that there is more to Argentinian wine than a full bodies Malbec! We had a cracking Cabernet Frank and Pinot Noir (and I am not usually a fan of Pinot Noir). Had some lovely Empanadas too. The hotel where the wine tasting was held (Miravida Soho & Wine Bar) was beautiful, a nice boutique hotel in a great area, we would potentially stay there if visiting BA again, especially as the lady at reception/bar was so friendly and helpful.

Lovely setting and ambience. Ideal for an enjoyable and informative evening. Good company and excellent Argentinian wines.
Recommend for novice to experienced wine lovers.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very minor point: Although building was numbered as per booking confirmation, it would have been useful to have had a small sign to confirm venue.
