About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 246megant0 contributionsHoneymoon TastingGreat tasting. Our sommelier was named Austin I think and he was very knowledgeable about the wines, Argentinian growing region, and pairings. It was my husband and my honeymoon and he even gave our tasting group and extra wine to try. I would recommend for any wine lovers hoping to learn more about the region and varietals in Argentina.Written February 4, 2025
- SANsna0 contributionsSuper cute hotel in a great location! My wife and I stayed a Miravida both before and after our trip to Antarctica. It is truly a boutique hotel with 6 rooms, a great staff, and a wonderful location in Palermo. I was able to experience both the suite and their regular double room during my stay. They were very different and yet very "Miravida". The suite had 2 floors and a lot of room. However, the bathroom was downstairs which can be a hassle. It has a balcony and a great view. It is also quieter. The other room also had a lot of room but faces the street. At 6 am, the buses start rolling outside on the cobblestone road and it can be noisy. Both were very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. My only complaint is that the bed is too "soft" and I would have preferred a firmer bed. The service at Miravida is top notch. Every member of the staff that I had to interact with were always smiling and ready to help. They would ask about our day and our plans at breakfast with suggestions. The breakfast was cooked to order and a great way to start the morning. The location of Miravida is probably the star for me. They are a few blocks from Don Julio and El Preferido. Both Fogon Asado locations were within 30 minutes walk from the hotel. There are two really good cafes within 2 minutes of the hotel. A Carrefour Express is also within 5 minutes walk and where I bought my sparkling water. It is about 40 minutes by car to the city center but cabs/Uber is cheap and convenient in Buenos Aires. A measure of good service is that I was able to contact them about an item we left at the hotel. They tried to find various ways to send it to me but the infrastructure in Argentina made it hard. However, they did try everything and was communicative via WhatsApp. Miravida is a great home base in Buenos Aires. It has a great staff and a wonderful location!Written January 29, 2025
- terij6150 contributionsA story in every bottleThe tasting was amazing with unique wines and great stories behind each bottle. Paulo was great for the wine beginners in our group and for someone like myself who has been into wine for 25 years! I would strongly encourage adding this to your trip!Written January 28, 2025
- 297marcinaa0 contributionsIntimate and Quaint Wine ExperienceThe wine tasting experience was awesome, very intimate and quaint. Pablo, our wine professional was very informative and passionate about Argentine viticulture and shared a wealth of information. This is a seated, guided tasting experience. If you can't make it to the different regions to visit the wineries, then this is it! Pablo will walk you through the different regions and share his knowledge. The wines have a special story and are of great quality and are from all different regions in Argentina! I felt among familia! Highly recommended to do!Written January 25, 2025

- gracedenise0 contributionsCharming Boutique Hotel in great LocationStaff were very accommodating & friendly. The hotel is very charming & in excellent condition. We chose this boutique hotel because previous guests were so complimentary. The breakfast is outstanding & of course one can relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day.Written January 21, 2025
- PerthGail0 contributionsGreat wine tasting with excellent sommelier. We attended the wine tasting held by Paolo which was very insightful and interesting. Paolo is clearly very well versed in not only Argentinian wine but more broadly. I certainly left having gained a lot of knowledge about new varieties and styles of wine I wasn’t familiar with. Thanks Paolo!Written January 11, 2025

- 28fiammac0 contributionsAmazing wine tastingThe hotel offers daily wine tastings and I joined one in late December 2024. We were greeted with a glass of bubbles in the beautiful patio and the journey began with the late afternoon glow. The tasting is very clever, showcasing Argentina’s lesser known grapes, which are perfectly paired with local bites. Pablo, the sommelier and host, is a total delight, sharing his vast knowledge of the geography of Argentina’s wine regions as well as tips for navigating the food and wine scene in Buenos Aires and beyond. Would recommend you do this one as soon as you land!Written December 30, 2024
- jknd020 contributionsBuenos Aires’ best!We stayed at this hotel for a total of 5 nights (2 at the start and 3 at the end of our 17 day trip) - what a lovely experience. The staff was outstanding - so attentive to any concern. Breakfast was lovely. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommending booking the wine tasting during your stay - learned so much and our sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would not stay anywhere else in Buenos Aires! Also it is nice to note you are near to all that Palermo soho has to offer and an easy uber or subway ride away from other neighborhoods.Written December 29, 2024

This wine tasting was amazing, we were a small group and learned so much about the history of Argentina and wines! We tasted 5 various wines with a snack platter in a cozy wine cellar.....complete with hot empanadas at the end! 10/10 would recommend.

The experience was wonderful! The best we had in Buenos Aires. The wines are spectacular, and our sommelier Augustin explained everything in detail, as well as removing any doubts. They serve cheeses, ham, breads and wonderful empanadas with the wines. We were with two couples, one from London and one from California. In addition to the tasting, we were able to chat with these people from different countries, which made the experience even better! I highly recommend!

SENSATIONAL! By far the best program I did in Buenos Aires, is very much worth it! Who conducted the tasting was Sandra, she was amazing and has a very broad knowledge about wines, about the country and culture in general. It was very nice, I highly recommend!

Event was held at a lovely little boutique hotel in their wine cellar. Our host (Austin) spoke very good English & his passion for & knowledge of wines shone through. The food that was served with the wines went so well with it. Staff at the hotel were very friendly so we stayed for another glass of wine.

This was a great experience, our host Sandra was extremely knowledgeable about the wines we tasted from the various regions of Argentina.
Both my wife and learn’t a lot, about wine and the other members in our group. I would recommend this experience for getting together with like minded people who have an appreciation of fine wines.

The sommelier explained and demonstrated that Argentina produces many more fine wines than Malbec. The wines were superb, as were the cheeses, prosciutto, etc., offered between wines. This was a very enjoyable two hour experience. I will certainly go back next time in Buenos Aires.

The group was small and everyone had a chance to ask questions and share what they thought about the wines we tasted. Wine selection was great and the sommelier shared some good recommendations. Very good price for the experience!

Very intimate setting with a very knowledgeable guide on everything Argentine, specifically wine. My guide took the time to answer our questions and ensure that the experience was interactive yet laid back. Would recommend to anyone, including couples for a true international date night idea.
