About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Anil V0 contributionsDay trip to TigreEnjoyed the day trip to Tigre with Patrick. Very knowledgeable and has extensive travel experience. Baat ride was good and insightful.Written May 9, 2024
- KenProspero0 contributionsGreat Day on the River. Our tour guide was Patrick, who runs the Company. Our trip was for a cruise debarkation day, so we needed to arrange to be picked up at the Port and dropped off at EZE airport. Communication was great -- we sent several messages by Whats App -- to arrange the time. Also, while we arranged a tour for two of us, the company showed flexibility allowing us to increase to 4 (with a modest per-person charge for the other two) -- on a couple of day's notice, we could have made it a larger group. The point was that Patrick was willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure that it met our needs. Also, Patrick knew EVERYONE. He was able to call in advance to make sure we had reservations on the boat, and when the restaurant we wanted to go to was booked solid, he was able to talk to the people there and get us a table. On the day of the trip, we exchanged a couple more texts to confirm when we were leaving the ship. When we exited the terminal at 9:15 am, Patrick was waiting there with a sign with my name on it. The vehicle he used had seats for 4 and adequate space for each of us to have one piece of checked luggage plus a carry-on. The tour itself was perfect -- although we hadn't, we were asked if there was anything we wanted to see in town. I asked for a stop at the Rose Gardens (one of my favorite places in Buenos Aires and not included on all city tours), he took us there. Then after a drive through the city, we headed north towards Tigre. Our first stop was at a local beach, which had a beautiful panoramic view of Buenos Aires. As it was a holiday (Good Friday), there were many families, also quite a number of people fishing off the beach. They were more than willing to pose for pictures with the fish they had caught. Next Stop -- San Isidro -- a local village with its own Cathedral. We stopped for Ice Cream at a local store, and could have taken pictures in the Cathedral, but there was a service going on, and we chose not to interrupt or interfere with the religious observance. After San Isidro, we made our way to Tigre for a River Delta Ride. Our cruise was on a boat that caters to the Argentinians -- I think we were the only Foreigners on board, so we shared our ride with locals and families out for an outing on the Holiday. The only downside to this was that the commentary was in Spanish -- but Patrick filled us in on the highlights so we didn't feel that we missed anything. After the cruise, we were offered a tour of the local market, but since it was approaching 2:00 we opted to go to a local restaurant for a leisurely lunch. This was followed by a drop-off at the airport at about 5:00 in plenty of time for check-in for our flight. One final point -- this was offered as a 6 hour tour. In fact we were with our guide for nearly 8 hours. I don't know whether every guide will give the extra time (and it might depend on what plans they had for later in the day), but in our case, Patrick was more concerned with our good time than keeping an overly tight schedule. Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend Buenos Aires Touring.Written April 2, 2024
- jennrhodges0 contributionsWonderful, safe, and fun tourPablo and this tour is worth every peso. Pablo’s picked us up at the airport and had a mod sized truck ready for us. Our five pieces of luggage fit and were locked and safe the entire tour. He drove safely and knew everything about everything, including great places to get empanadas and choripán. We saw everything and the car was always in a safe garage. He organized our tour to spend the most time in the places furthest from our hotel to make the best use of our time. We were dropped off at our hotel when we were tired and really got to see everything on our lost across the city.Written March 5, 2024
- 498joachimg0 contributions5 star transfer service !I can only fully recommend this transfer and tour service. We had a problem with our luggage, that got lost on a trip in Buenos Aires. Airport transfer.com with Patrick and his drivers stood by us uncomplicated and brilliantly at all times and helped us. Thanks a lot!Written February 25, 2024

Our driver was awesome as well and the tour was so informative, personalized and fun. Picked up at the cruise port, we were whisked away for a fabulous city tour and then safely delivered to the airport for our international flight home.Written February 6, 2024

- originalcoachmike0 contributionsEnjoyed the day.Pickup from cruise terminal was early ...appreciated. Touring was excellent. Shown all parts of the city and major sites. About 4 miles of walking over the 7 hours. Nice Marketplace lunch. Got us through heavy traffic to airport for our flight out. Definitely recommend.Written December 24, 2023
- denisebaez0 contributionsDon’t miss it!This private tour is amazing, beautiful scenery in Delta Tigre! We were a group of 7 people including kids and we all liked it, our tour guide Pablo was excellent! Very safe driver Beltran! Comfortable van for our group! I have been to Argentina twice and definitely this has been one of my favorite tours. Don’t miss visiting Delta Tigre which is one of the biggest in South America!Written July 26, 2023
- IronflowerYH0 contributionsPerfect whirlwind tour of Buenos Aires highlights! We cannot say enough positive things about our day spent with Pablo in Buenos Aires. We only had one day at the end of our cruise to get a glimpse of this fabulous city, but Pablo packed in as many of the highlights as he could! We walked out of the cruise terminal and there he was with a sign with our name on it! He is so knowledgeable of history and the stories behind what we were seeing. He made sure we saw all of the main sights and sections of Buenos Aires, knowing that we could not experience it all, but it was a great introduction for a trip back some day. Pablo was kind, friendly, humorous and a delightful person to spend the day with, including a wonderful lunch at an outdoor café. The biggest surprise of all was our stop at El Ateneo Grand Splendid, the theatre turned into a book store!! He didn’t tell us what we were going to see, just said he would pull up to the curb and for us to go inside and he would circle the block and pick us back up. There are no words to describe this magnificent space, all the books, the transformation that took place! We had an evening flight out of EZE and Pablo made sure we arrived at the airport in plenty of time. Thank you Pablo for a terrific day and to Patrick for making all of the advance arrangements so we had no worries, just an enjoyable end to our trip!Written April 14, 2023
- Diane W0 contributionsVery well organizedThe company arranged a private tour of Buenos Aires for our group which was top-notch. Afterwards They picked us up and took us to the cruise ship doc. When we returned from our cruise to Buenos Aires they took us to a Gaucho ranch which was wonderful. This company is definitely top-notch I would highly recommend themWritten March 2, 2023
- Compass551853069920 contributionsExcellent communication and supportPatrick is extremely responsive and helpful. My situation was highly unusual in that I arrived in Buenos Aires on the day of the World Cup celebration, and things were extremely chaotic. Patrick was supportive and helpful in dealing with all of the uncertainty, and he maintained communication throughout the day in spite of also dealing with many other concurrent issues. I appreciated his expertise and advice very much.Written December 20, 2022

- westvalleyaz0 contributions5 starts and more!Fun and educating day spent with Pablo. Saw various neighborhoods, different architecture styles, the cemetery, cathedrals, had a fantastic lunch, went to the market with amazing foods & browsed antique stores! Arrived at airport on time. The weather cooperated, too! 5 starts and more! Comfortable van that held luggage for 4. Learned a lot, saw a lot. Pablo was well versed in English! Highly recommend! Thank you such an amazing Day #2.Written December 2, 2022

Our driver Pablo gave us a great introduction to the city of Buenos Aries. Visited all the main city highlights and Pablo added the local insight that put everything into perspective. Visited la Boca district with its colourful facades and many places to eat, drink and buy souvenirs.
The pink palace and the many other architectural styles that have shaped the city.
Highly recommend this tour for a more personal introduction to the city.

Because I am traveling alone I needed an introduction to the city and recommendations for which places to return alone. My guide helped familiarize me with the historical and cultural areas and gave excellent suggestions for the rest of my trip. She tailored the tour to my exact interests.

Our guide, Tina Shaw, did a wonderful job of customizing the tour to our interests. She was very knowledgeable about the city and showed us many highlights. We would definitely recommend Tina. Our driver for the day, Maria, did a great job. We always felt safe riding with her and never had to wait for her.

Despite telling Patrick about other tours we had lined up, he didn’t tell our tour guide Flavia and she was unprepared. We’ve had many tours in our travels, and this one was the worst. She wasn’t very informed, shrugged and said she didn’t know most of our questions, has difficulty with English and was high on opinions but low in facts. The only pleasant part of the trip was the cab driver.

Hello Jenny,
I am extremely disappointed to see that you did not enjoy your tour.
It seems that there are two sides to your negative opinion:
First the program you have done. In your message , you mentioned that you would see the emblematic sites mainly for photo opps and that you wanted to go back to the cemetery. With Flavia you decided to stay 2 hours in the cemetery. You had 2 hours left and since you had already seen the main sites, she decided to take you to other parts of town, little visted to give you a good idea of what the real Buenos Aires looks like. It seems that you did not see it that way and we are sorry about that.
Secondly, the way Flavia attended you: I shall of course talk to her to hear what she has to say. It is the first time we had a negative review of her work. She is a licensed guide from the City of Buenos Aires, born and bred here and therefore I do not understand how she could not answer your questions. This does not mean that I put your word in doubt by any means . We need our customers opinions to progress and we shall try and find out what can have gone wrong.
Once this process is completed, I shall take a decision and contact you again through Trip Advisor to keep you informed.
We value your opinion.
Regards,
Patrick

We booked a half day tour and were extremely lucky to get Pablo as our guide. He’s very cheerful and obliging and knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun and a great lunch and thoroughly enjoyed his stories about the Buenos Aires of today, and its past. Patrick, who owns the company, is easy to deal with and very responsive. Thanks Pablo and Patrick for making our stay in BA extra special.

Patrick was a fantastic guide! He really is as interesting as the city itself! He has a thorough knowledge of all the locations. He took me when it was least busy so we could navigate without issue or it being too crowded. I was solo and he was kind enough to take some photos for me. He speaks English, French, Spanish and is learning Italian. We had a great lunch and a great discussion about so many things. Fantastic tour that I would recommend to anyone!

One of the best private tours ever! Day 1 with Patrick: Patrick customized this tour. We saw an overview of the city: embassies, Palermo SoHo, important buildings. The main part of our tour was a custom wine tasting/pairing with Argentine tapas. The setting was Bertie & Aby's apartment. Personable, generous, & welcoming couple. Bertie is a sommelier and Aby is a wonderful chef. Very entertaining & educational. These boutique wines were excellent. We would have purchased one of each, but our bags were already close to being overweight. The food was amazing!
Each dish brought out the wonderful wine flavors. Also had an exquisite truffle drizzled with olive oil!
We are dog lovers and asked them to let their sweet dog, Bonny, out to see us. Bonny was was so cute, sweet, well-behaved. Loved her! We were all missing our dogs at home in Texas!
The whole experience was amazing!
Highly recommend!!! Not for children, adults only. 10 stars!!!!

We contacted Patrick at Buenos Aires Touring along with other tour operators to get ideas for private tours during our time in Buenos Aires. We chose Patrick because we liked the itineraries he offered, the pricing was comparable with others, but most importantly because of the highly professional way he conducted himself during our email exchanges which gave us complete trust and faith in Patrick.
We not only booked a bespoke city tour, but also a visit to Tigre and the Delta, a Jewish Buenos Aires tour, took his advice and recommendation regarding a Tango dinner show at La Ventana and a transfer to the airport post cruise.
Because we had booked well in advance, we got Patrick himself for our sightseeing tours. He was always punctual, the tours were as expected in terms of content and Patrick himself is a fascinating guy and interesting company. We also don’t like “information overload” and Patrick seems to know just how to pitch the information which added to our enjoyment of our tours.
The Dinner Tango show he recommended, whilst not cheap because we elected for the VIP package, was outstanding with a meal that was far better than our expectation. Patrick collected us from our hotel, took us to the venue, ensured everything was in order for us as we were having a Tango lesson before dinner, and was there when the show finished with another driver to return us to our hotel.
If we could give Patrick 6 stars we would! Our time in Buenos Aires was truly memorable and much of this was down to Patrick and his superb guiding and tours.
If you are planning to go to Buenos Aires and are looking for a private tour guide, look no further than Patrick at Buenos Aires Touring, but if you want Patrick himself, make sure you book well in advance!
