We had the best time!!! The tango was well taught and fun and the cooking with Saul was the best. His recipes are excellent and his skill and teaching technique will make a pro out of you. We enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor as well!
Being in Saul’s personal kitchen and space made it even more special like we were friends or part of the family. He made sure we were safely on our way in our taxi or Uber.

We started the night with a private lesson on how to dance the Tango with Claudio. Claudio was so patient and a great teacher. Then we moved to the kitchen with Saul where we spent the next 4 hours with Saul making an authentic Argentinian dinner all from scratch with the freshest and highest quality meats, veggies and spices. Saul is a master in the kitchen and loves sharing his passion. We cooked, talked, laughed and ate together in his in-home professional kitchen. It was such a fun night and we didn't want it to end! We left with recipes, new cooking skills and dance moves to share when we get home! We highly recommend it if you're looking for an authentic Argentinian experience.

Had a fantastic evening!! The tango lesson was so much fun and the instructor (Elena?) was so patient with us gringos :) Cooking with Saul was so much fun! He encouraged all of us to participate in the making of the great meal we all shared afterwards. It was really nice to spend the time visiting with the other participants and learn of their backgrounds and experiences. Would highly recommend this to anyone spending time in Buenos Aires - and will do it again if we return! Mucho gusto, Saul y muchas gracias!!

We had an amazing night with this tango lesson and cooking class. We never danced the tango before but that didn't matter! The intstructor explained us what the dance is really about and she was able to learn us some basics (and let us have so much fun). Same goes for the cooking. Saul matches your cooking level and really explained something about the cooking process. He has the right balance between letting you do your thing and explaining how things should be done. Above all, the food is super tasty. Highly recommended!

We were looking for something unique to do while visiting Buenos Aires and this activity fit the bill! We started our evening off with a private tango lesson. This was really fun and we also learned a little about the history of tango in Argentina. After the tango lesson, we enjoyed some light snacks and then the cooking lesson began. We made homemade empanadas, a chimichurri, a rib roast, potatoes, and dessert. Saul opened a delicious bottle of Argentine wine, and we were able to enjoy our meal together. We left feeling full and happy. It was great getting to meet some locals and share a meal that we helped prepare. I would highly recommend this!

Amazing! This evening was the highlight o my visit. More than what I expected! The dance class was perfect - such a relaxed learning environment and skilled teaxher who was very encouraging and able to point out small specific adjustments in a great manner to help me out. The host of the cooking and supper, Saul, is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. He included us in the preparation and cooking of an amazing meal, and provided excellent explanations o why we were doing things a certain way. The end product was fantastic, with great wine and great company. I highly recommend!

Taking Saul's private cooking class combined with tango lesson was a highlight of our 2 1/2 week adventure to Argentina!

We arrived to Saul's home with a warm greeting and an introduction to our delightful Tango instructor Trina. My friend and I both joke that we have "two left feet," but we finished our lesson with not only an appreciation for the beauty of the Argentinian tango, but we actually were able grasp the basics we were taught.

Next came cooking.....yum!!! With Saul educating and instructing us, we created a enjoyed an Argentinian meal including beef empanadas, steak and chimicurri (with roasted potatoes, of course 😃), dulce de leche rum semifredo....and of course wine! Saul is not only a great instructor but a wonderful host. We loved this day so much we modified the menu and came back a second time with my mother and her companion to do it all again!

We ALL recommend this authentic Argentinian experience!

I made several of Saul's recipes with in a week of my return to home....almost as good...Thank you Saul!!!!

We really enjoyed this experience. It started with an hours Tango lesson. We’ve never tried Tango before and aren’t natural dancers, but he put us both at ease, was very encouraging, and made it fun. We actually danced a short but full tango by the end of the lesson. Then we learnt how to make empanadas, steak roasted in chimichurri, and dulce de leche and rum ice cream. Saul and Oksana were so welcoming, and let us try our hand at every stage of the cooking process. We made the dough and even learnt how to crimp it so it was identifiable as a beef empanada.
Once lunch was cooked the four of us sat together and shared a glorious bottle of Patagonian wine and ate what we had created. It was delicious! We also got a wonderful insight into life in Argentina and tips on where to go, and which were the best local milongas to watch the locals dance tango.
It was an unforgettable experience and one we can highly recommend.

My wife and I had an extra day in Buenos Aires and were looking for something authentic and engaging to enjoy. We signed up for the El Arte de Amasar experience and couldn't be happier with the outcome. It may seem somewhat strange to combine Tango and cooking, but Saul, our host and cooking instructor has created a beautiful space within his home that merges both worlds. Half of the space is a very nice dance floor, while the other half is a very professional small kitchen. You begin your experience with a one-hour tango lesson, taught by a very capable (and patient) dance teacher. Even if you are not a great dancer, she will manage to get you looking pretty good! After the lesson you are treated to wine and snacks, and then the cooking lesson begins. I was quite surprised at how pleasant and fun Saul's lesson was - you create an entire meal, including an appetizer (empinadas), main course, side dish, and dessert. And after your efforts are complete, you get to sit with wine and Saul's company and enjoy your creation. A great eating and learning experience!
