About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Z9801KWpault0 contributionsRed hop on hop off Bus Tour Buenos AiresThe red hop on hop off bus tour of Buenos Aires’s was very informative and allowed us to see parts of the city which we would not have. The multi- language commentary was easy to understand and the supervisor Eduardo was very helpful, getting off the bus at various locations to supply us with free water.Written February 11, 2025
- SuzanneD36240 contributionsBeautiful dayAs far as the route goes it was great; however we were unable to listen to the audio as the earphones we were given had a cord much too short in order to sit back. Seatbelt in front row was also broken. The route does take 3 1/2 hours but that takes into consideration a 20 minute stop at stop 11 and a lunch pickup for the attendant just before Fisherman’s warf. All in all an enjoyable ride and highly recommended.Written February 4, 2025
- briansN2261CT0 contributionsDon’t use the red bus, try the yellow ones. The first half of the circuit was fine, informative and interesting (starting at stop 11). Towards the end of the second half the bus seemed to stop following the route on the map and then for some reason the tour ended, we were told to get off the bus, leaving us a long walk from the starting point. Google maps saved the day.Written February 3, 2025
- lilliann4060 contributionsEl Tigre boat tour.We all really enjoyed the river boat ride of the tour. It was very enjoyable & a smooth ride. We could have done with less time at the stops getting there. Our guide Diego was very informative & always explained everything clearly. We knew where we were to be when. Would have been nice to have some water bottles waiting for us in the tour coach when we returned from the boat tour.Written January 29, 2025
- CCandCol0 contributionsGreat way to see Buenos AiresThis was a great way to see Buenos Aires and get familiarised with the city. We got a 2 day pass and the first day we just did the round trip and then decided what we wanted to do the next day. Our hotel was very conveniently located about 50 metres from a stop. They give you head phones where you can listen to commentary in different languages, but found sometimes it didn't match up with the point of interest. Many times we had already gone past. There was a bit too much music on the commentary and some more facts about the city would have been nice to hear. Buses seem to run on time pretty well and overall happy with the tour and price.Written January 28, 2025

- ldwheels0 contributionsNot very efficient for sightseeing. The good: Got on the bus near Teatro Colon at 10:00 AM and the bus was just beginning its day. The bus was clean and had a small air conditioned compartment in the upper level which was great. We could sit in the upper level without exposure to the sun, wind and rain. I think there were 4 rows of seats available. The bus route covers a great deal of the city. Downside: the entire one way loop took us 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete. We never got off the bus as it started raining, so we were on the bus the entire loop. The website says their loop is about 2.5 hours. If you take this bus to go anywhere, the transit time alone to go to a stop and then get back on to go to your starting point consumes 3.5 hours of time. At their pricing, you are much better off with a taxi or UBER to get around. The taxis and UBER in Buenos Aires are a pretty good deal and consume much less time than the hop on hop off bus. All in all, I would not use this service again. Too inefficient and a waste of time. It could be somewhat fixed if they made two routes instead of one for the buses. This is how some other cities tackle the long loop.Written January 27, 2025
- 972stellad0 contributionsTango show was awesome!!We would have done just the show, which was GREAT!! Dinner was a disappointment. Service was great, venue beautiful but the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable.Written January 23, 2025
- J4514ELadrianac0 contributionsGreat TourGreat tour bus-saw all of Buenos Aires! Eduardo was great, amicable and made our trip great. Would recommend this tour bus.Written January 21, 2025
- Kresten E0 contributionsGreat tour !Caught the Bus at Arcos mall in Palermo and had a great 3hr + tour of Buenos Aires! Liked the multi language headphone system, very informative and clear . Made multiple stops , we chose to stay on and enjoy the ride. We did this our first day in Buenos Aires and is a great way to get a lay of the land , made notes on our map ( included with headphones for the cost) of places we wanted to return to . Was on time and well worth the price.Written January 20, 2025
- Ernesto C0 contributionsMy Palacio Tango experienceWe had a good time but with a couple of hiccups… Transportation never showed up so we ended up taking an Uber And then the food…. I’m Argentinian and felt embarrassed to see people trying to eat the worst steak we had ever…. The show was great, service good.Written January 19, 2025
- 963cristobalm0 contributionsWorst bus tour ever!As it was our first day in Buenos Aires, we spent 4 hours on the hop on hop off bus to get the lay of the land with intentions of completing the tour the next day. I have been on several similar tours in numerous cities and find them helpful. Well, we won’t be returning tomorrow. For starters the static coming through the earbuds was unbearable and when we got on a different bus, same problem. Even if we were able to hear everything, the recorded tour was nowhere near synced with the actual sites we were passing. Worst bus tour ever!!Written January 15, 2025
- H5164QOjimh0 contributionsCovered the city but too much fillerThe trip did a good job of covering the city, but talk could have been more informative. Also it played music for half the time where it could have been telling more history or something. Some portions were even repeats.Written January 14, 2025
- siobhanmY1690VB0 contributionsMange your timeThe positives were that there was a lot to do. The negatives were that there was a lot to do! It was stated that it was a 3 hour tour. The driving part alone took 3.5 hours and that was in January when BA is relatively empty as half the population is on holidays so I would think it takes a lot longer at other times. We were a little tight on time so with getting off at 2 of the 24 stops it took us 5.5 hours. So I would recommend that if possible to do it over 2 days as it would also be a lot to do in one day especially in the January heat. The audio guide on the bus was good but was out of sync on occasions due to stopping and starting in traffic. I know BA quite well as I lived in Argentina for 7 years so I was able to fill in teh gaps for my friend that was with me, otherwise read up on things first to get around the out of sync audio.Written January 14, 2025

This is an excellent option when visiting Buenos Aires to see a high quality show that is fully authentic to the Tango/Argentine Tango.
We were collected on time as promised and dropped at the door of the cafe. The welcome within was great as we were all met by a hostess in local (historic) dress and taken to our table.
The waiting staff were prompt, attentive and incredibly helpful. The service was excellent, the food fabulous (word of warning the steak is huge if you order it so don't have lunch!!) as a 3 course meal and the wine was plentiful. We weren't sure if that would be included but it was and the Chilean Merlot was particularly good.
The show then began - it was brilliant and lasted an hour plus/ The dancers were superb, the musicians excellent and the whole performance just great and great to see the dance in its natural home performed so well.
Transport was waiting for us ahead of the show ending and took us back to our hotel.
Overall a great night and well worth experiencing if you have the chance.

This has truly been an amazing experience to discover Tango. After an amazing 3 course dinner including a massive sirloin steak and unlimited wine we were treated to the tango show for about an hour. It was breathtaking and probably one of the best value evenings in the world that we have been to

I don’t understand and usually - don’t enjoy watching the art of dance. However, this was a very engaging, inspiring and a pleasure to watch performance to very high standards accompanied by a surprisingly good dinner, wine and services. Recommended.

We went there at the end of October , in privilege upstairs. Arrival 8:00 p.m. Show 10:00 p.m. Before it is the meal. Quite frankly, I don’t understand those who feasted: it was a Wednesday night. 4 cm2 of salmon on poorly seasoned couscous. Not appropriate. My wife chose meat (this is the country!) no taste. I took fish of the day. I thought it was a joke. Frankly not good and overcooked. In the 2 courses unattractive and cold accompaniment. As for the dessert the pavlova in addition trashed by a honey syrup ... we have not seen a dessert pavlova that has been finished around us ... overall the meal is a real joke. The waiters are very nice but their jackets and shirts are worn, the seats are stained... we have the impression of an end of the journey ... finally the tango show: it is correct, two couples save the day ... there is surely better .. our travel agency had the same returns and decided to make another choice ... difficult to understand the messages of those who were delighted with the meal ... we were in the same place .... That the chief of rank observes his jacket... there is a clean shot to really give...

This was a wonderful evening. I booked the VIP option via Tangotix some months in advance. The theatre opened only a short while before the performance and I was promptly led to table 2 which was on a raised area at the level of the stage with standard seating in front. Wow what an opulent theatre. The service I received was immaculate with plenty of wine and a champagne starter. The food was very enjoyable with no complaints. The main event was the show and it was fabulous. The view from my table was excellent. Photographs were allowed without flash. An excellent evening. I went to two shows on different evenings and this was more expensive and better.

What and experience! Although we had read about poor pick up arrangements, everything worked like clockwork. On time hotel pick-up, fabulous dinner and the show itself was outstanding! We were glad we opted for the pre diner meal, which was excellent considering the large number of guests. The service was spot on and there was no shortage of local wine. The singers and dancers were really good, but the musicians were incredible. All in all, a Tango show not to be missed.

I didn’t realize this was a really amazing Tango spot (or I did) until I went to one that was not so good. Been to Buenos Aires twice now (love it) which is know for their Tango. This place is also a historic cafe for coffee and tea during the day, the tango show and dinner is one of the best at night! Originally called Bar Rivadavia, this café was once the haunt of poets, musicians, even criminals, which is why a police commissioner jokingly called it “los angelitos” in the early 1900s. The Tango show is Top Notch with a live orchestra, amazing costumes, and choreographed by the same people as Rojo Tango (which is #1 Tango show in Buenos Aires and $290 a person) This Tango show is $130 a person and all meal and all you can drink included in the price! I absolutely loved it and want to go back again! I do not remember what the food is in the photos so I apologize but most is a set menu with a few choices here and there. Perfect for me! Amazing experience you HAVE to participate in while in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires!

Enjoying Buenos Aires. A city, like Paris, that is absolutely a must for world tourists.
If you come, Café Los Angelitos is a required stop. Food was OK, but we went there for the tango show and the live argentinian music. A history of tango and its evolution.
Superb. Moulin Rouge in Paris, Café Los Angelitos, Buenos Aires!

From hotel pick-up through dinner and the show, outstanding! There was no shortage of great food, pretty decent wine, and absolutely amazing Tango. Vocals and dancers were great, but the musicians were absolutely the best!
