This was one of the most fun activities we did in Buenos Aires. Saul was the perfect host and his knowledge of wine and the pairings we had was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

      Authentic BsAs Cooking Class
When my wife and I travel, we love to do a cooking class to have an intimate view into the local culture. Saúl’s cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina! We opted for Saúl’s class because it was more than just an empanada class— it was homemade empanadas, potatoes, chimi chori, a huge piece of carne, and amazing dulce de leche. And of course I can’t forget about the wine! Saúl is extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. We loved his hands on approach in his amazing kitchen. Definitely book this class if you’re looking for an authentic cooking experience!

Must do cooking class either Tango
This class was one of the best cooking classes I have ever taken! Pair that with an amazing tango class before hand and you have something really special. Saul not only shows you how to cook the dishes but also talks through why the steps are important to making the dishes really good. This is such an amazing experience for any level of cook. It is a must do if you are in Buenos Aires

Wouldn’t rush to do this class. Better ways to spend that h h money.
Not worth the money, limited menu, stingy with wine served. Last minute dish provided for my celiac diet which was not good. Steak was nice however.

      A delighful experience
My boyfriend has always loved cooking, but he had never had the opportunity to take a proper cooking class, so I thought that signing both of us up to take a class with a professional of the highest caliber such as Saul would be the perfect gift for our 1rst year anniversary. It did not disappoint. Saul is extremely clear and gentle with his explanations and the food that he taught us to make was delicious. I highly recommend this experience. It was worth every cent.

      A memorable night
This was such a great experience! I loved everything about Saúl's cooking class. All the recipes were both delicious and easy to follow. He is very accommodating and will critique his lessons based on dietary restrictions. I got to make authentic Argentina empanadas, ribeye steak with potatoes (oh and I can't forget the chimichurri!), and dulce de leche ice cream! I even got a private lesson of Tango with an awesome instructor which was so much fun and really added to the great evening. Saúl was very kind and gave great suggestions for cooking as well as tips for things to do in Argentina. My only advice would be don't eat too much of the appetizers because you're gonna want to save room! Thanks again Saúl!

      Delicious food with quality instruction
Saul is a very knowledgeable cook and runs an easy and fun cooking lesson! The recipes were absolutely delicious (which he was kind to send after the lesson) and distinctly Argentinian. I will also make great use of all the tips I learned in my everyday cooking.

This class really was that much fun
Saul is a wonderful teacher, a great chef, and has a true passion for what he does. I also cook. So I recognize and share his passion. I learned some new techniques and learned how to prepare some new things. We made an ice cream dessert that was absolutely amazing. While that was in the freezer. We made chimichurri, that was the best I have ever had. I learned a new way to roast potatoes and roast a ribeye. For me though what I really learned was how to make empanadas. I have never liked them whenever I have made them or had them. These were great. The dough he showed us how to make was what really started it off, the filling was what put it over the top. Put some chimichurri on it and wow. The ribeye and roast potatoes were top notch and what you would find at a quality restaurant, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that once I tasted that Dulce de Leche and rum ice cream I was in food heaven and couldn’t think about anything else. My wife, Lynn, and I had a great time

The best experience in Buenos Aires!
What an awesome evening! Saul taught me to make beef empanadas, dulche leche ice cream and steak in chimichurri sauce. He shared lots of amazing tips from perfect ice cream consistency to rolling pastry! It was a masterclass. The tango class was lots of fun too!

      Tango and cooking
We had an amazing night with this tango lesson and cooking class. We never danced the tango before but that didn't matter! The intstructor explained us what the dance is really about and she was able to learn us some basics (and let us have so much fun). Same goes for the cooking. Saul matches your cooking level and really explained something about the cooking process. He has the right balance between letting you do your thing and explaining how things should be done. Above all, the food is super tasty. Highly recommended!

      Argentina Deliciousness
Saul was the best! Great sense of humor and easy going. Made our time seem to go very fast. We made empanadas, Ribeye Roasted in Chimichurri with Roasted Potatoes and Dulce De Leche and Rum Ice Cream! All was delicious! Oh and a nice bottle of wine to go with the delicious food👌. Would truly recommend Saul and his cooking lessons.

Amazing cooking class. Best meal we had in Buenos Aires.
My husband and I had an amazing time cooking with Saul. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, and his food tasted incredible. We will definitely come back if we’re ever in Buenos Aires again.

      The highlight of my visit
Amazing! This evening was the highlight o my visit. More than what I expected! The dance class was perfect - such a relaxed learning environment and skilled teaxher who was very encouraging and able to point out small specific adjustments in a great manner to help me out. The host of the cooking and supper, Saul, is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. He included us in the preparation and cooking of an amazing meal, and provided excellent explanations o why we were doing things a certain way. The end product was fantastic, with great wine and great company. I highly recommend!

Our cooking class with Saul could not have been better. His menu selections were perfect (classic Argentine dishes that were simple and flavorful), the pace was great, we learned a lot, and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed wine and conversation with Saul! Our 12-year old daughter says it was the highlight of our stay in Buenos Aires.

Saul invited us into his home with open arms and fantastic food! Each dish we prepared had a story behind it on how it was important to the local culture and how he makes them more delicious. If you want to roll up your sleeves and get involved in learning how to cook with a wonderful chef (which my wife and I did), than we can't recommend this experience enough. Not only that, but Saul made a point to tell us to keep in touch and send him pictures of the dishes we try and replicate at home and to reach out to him if we had any questions or needed a recipe sent over.

Saul was such a wonderful teacher and host. He did a good job at balancing explanation of cooking processes and letting us be involved in the cooking. He timed the different courses really well so that we could eat our appetizer quickly and not be too hungry or too full for the main course. He was so welcoming and taught us not only how to cook traditional Argentine food but also taught us about his culture and gave recommendation on what to see and do while we’re here. I would highly recommend taking a class from Saul if you’re visiting Buenos Aires.

Highly recommend this fun experience! A group of us took an uber to Saul's home from our hotel in downtown BA (around $12 USD). Saul greeted us warmly and then the fun began. The instruction was informative, and easy to understand. Saul is friendly, interesting and passionate about food and imparting his knowledge to us. It was a pleasure to be in someone's home and experience a more personal side to Buenos Aires than what a typical tourist garners from normal sightseeing. Wine and conversation flowed freely and the empanadas were to die for. Saul sent along the recipes to everything we cooked. I hope to duplicate this fabulous meal at home!

Saul is an amazing cook and it was an honor to learn from him and enjoy the food we made together! The beef empanadas were full of flavor and the dough was so light and fluffy, not greasy at all. We also made a delicious perfectly cooked medium rare prime rib cooked in chimichuri sauce (which is incredibly easy to make) with crispy roasted potatoes. For dessert, we made dulce de leche Ice cream with Rum. All accompanied with a fabulous premium red wine. We will definitely be making these recipes at home and would recommend a cooking class with Saul to anyone. If you want to learn delicious Argentine cooking, better call Saul!

Wow! Saul, thank you for hosting us! We cannot say enough amazing things about this fun interactive class. Saul is caring and passionate about his food and what he makes in his kitchen with you. He’s full of intention and information. We have restaurants in the states and love finding ways to learn new foods and immerse ourselves in the local culture.
Instead of making a special trek to Don Julio, we thought there was no way Don Julio could top this experience, not to mention the fun conversations.
We’ll be making these delicious treats regularly when we get home. Granted we still need a few reps to get in before perfecting our empanadas but no one is complaining about more empanadas!
You’ll be happy to enjoy this class and hopefully with friends or family.

We had an amazing time. We were unfortunately delayed because of traffic and weather but Saul was accommodating. We started with tango lessons to get us in the mood. The food was amazing. Saul’s passion about the food is contagious. We scheduled this for our first night in Buenos Aires and would do it all over again. Saul’s knowledge of food and recommendations will make the rest of our trip more enjoyable. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Buenos Aires.
