Four of us enjoyed 3 mornings of touring with Carina. She arranged a van for part of the time and the rest of the time we enjoyed walking the city with her. She arranged transfers for us, helped us prepare for our visit and gave us numerous invaluable tips. Her knowledge is vast and her humour is infectious. We had a wonderful time and I can highly recommend her.

Carina had excellent communication prior to our day together and was able to be flexible in our itinerary due to being in Buenos Aires the day of the World Cup victory parade. Despite a shortened day because of need to get to leave for airport earlier, she managed to take us to all the sites we had requested and even stop for an excellent parilla lunch! Her driver Enrique was wonderful, with a spotless vehicle, excellent driving skills and getting us somehow to the airport through the back roads of the city. Thanks Carina and Enrique!

Carina Lago is a wonderful person and one of the absolute best tour guides we have ever had. She and her driver guided us all over the city of Buenos Aires, including taking us to a silver designer. We stopped numerous times for photos, bathroom breaks, and to walk around various markets, including San Telmo Market and an antique market. The restaurant was fabulous, with the best beef I have ever had, thanks to Carina's recommendation. Carina picked us up at the cruise port and then dropped us at the airport, 8 hours later. She then helped us into the airport and spoke to the airport personnel in Spanish, asking them for a wheelchair for my wife, who walks with a cane. Thus, we were able to avoid a VERY long line. Thanks again Carina!!

Carina helped us in Buenos Aires. We had a day with no plans following a cruise. Carina had a driver and picked us up at the terminal. We saw many interesting things in the city. Our baggage was attended and we were efficiently carried right up to the airport. The cost was very reasonable and the venues selected were valuable to visitors. I highly recommend her service.

Getting to know Buenos Aires with Carina was just ideal. We used the bus and the metro to reach all the areas I wanted to visit, stopped for coffee and snacks when necessary and Carina was good fun and full of information. This is the ideal way to explore the city if travelling alone.

Our fabulous day in Buenos Aires started when our guide Cynthia Lowe and our driver Fabio picked us up at our hotel. The 4 of us then spent the next 5 hours touring and laughing and just having a wonderful time. Cynthia is so very knowledgeable about Buenos Aires. She planned a day for us that covered just about every area of this very large and diverse City. My husband has mobility issues, and Cynthia and Fabio took this into consideration when planning what we would see. We started the day touring a very beautiful cathedral that reminded us of similar churches in Rome. At our request, we spent the rest of the day touring in the car (except for the one stop I requested at an ATM where Cynthia patiently walker me through the unfamiliar wording and currency so I could get a little local spending money). We saw beautiful Government buildings, the BOCA Junior stadium, the different types of architecture brought to Buenos Aires by settlers/Invaders from different lands through the years. We had a nice ride through the International embassy area and saw the beautiful green parks that dotted Buenos Aires! The "original" waterfront area had an entertaining history-especially since it was only in use for 25 years until ships outgrew the space. The area became a Haven for artists and fabulous restaurants! Art-in it's many forms-plays a big part of Buenos Aires history! If you love color, you will love BA! Carina was very thorough and passionate about the services she provided. Right from initial contact to planning the visit for 4 days, Carina guided us and helped us make informed decisions before we got to BA.She went above and beyond to major sure we got to see and do what we wanted to andes more. For example, the quote was for driver van transfer from airport to Palermo but she happened to have a break in her schedule of teaching, and decided to come to airport and take us to our destination. It was wonderful. Carina is very informative and flexible when our plans changed. We had the best of times with her and came to know her as a vey kind and giving personality full of passion for her city andes job.

My wife and I were very pleased with our private day long tour. Carina packed a lot into the tour. She is a delightful enthusiastic person and an excellent historian, which made the sites far more interesting. Since we had not been to BA before, we let her plan the tour and she was well organized in doing so. We saw all the main sites and ended the tour feeling we had a full immersion into the city’s sites, culture and history. We highly recommend Carina’s city tour and strongly suggest the full day over a half day tour.
