Great value for money
At first I was sceptical with the price being the cheapest and if we would be crammed into a bus or boat which wasn't the case. Our tour guide was great, we had a couple of unexpected stops which broke up the journey. The boat had air-conditioning, comfy chairs inside (approx. 40 people) and you could stand out at the back once the boat was moving in the fresh air if preferred. You get a tiny cup of sweet coffee and a little cake 5 mins into the boat trip. The other boats had a lot more people (approx. 90), some with two floors and wooden bench seating. They dropped me off near the cemetery and weekend craft market en route back. I booked a second tour the following day using the same operator because they were so efficient and friendly.

A bit of a disappointment
Dec 2019
We were placed in an enclosed boat which made it difficult to view the scenery
We opted for the boat ride back to Buenos Aires but once leaving the Delta there was nothing worth looking at

We enjoyed the river tour seeing the Le Tigre area was interesting we the went to the fruit/craft market and had a nice lunch. We walked some more, rode the city bus and then onto the commuter train the train was a cultural experience in itself, entertainment and vendors included!

A nice way to get a full perspective on Argentina culture
Jan 2020 • Solo
The ride was the best part of the trip, the guide was very knowledgeable of the history and made it fun to listen to her by telling some captivating stories. She was the perfect ambassador of Argentina. The boar ride was nice and lasted about 1:15 mins it does provide a perspective on the size of the river and delta but aside from vacation homes along the shores, the scenery is limited to water and trees. All and all it was a nice break from the city and a good education on the history of the region. I would highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience in your tour. In this excursion we can see an important extract of our history, such as the Rio de La Plata. It defines a lot our culture as you mention. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. Your words make us very happy, and we really appreciate your time to write this review!

Never on a Monday
Dec 2019
We booked the full day version of this tour on a Monday.
The tour started quite well with an interesting boat ride up the Plate River then through the delta, with coffee and a cupcake.

The tour was supposed to include time at some museums and a fruit market in Tigre, but all are closed on Mondays. It was also pouring with rain so we took a city tour bus instead of walking around Tigre - but unfortunatley the first bus was full and we had to wait in the pouring rain for another bus (there's no bus shelter).

We had little time for lunch so ended up having a quick snack at Starbucks before taking the train back to Buenos Aires.
The train is a regular commuter train. Nothing to see, particularly given the rain and the shaded windows. The trip was made particularly unpleasant by hawkers and beggars who kept coming into the carriage and shouting at the passengers.

We would have been better off making our own way there.

Dear Mary-Anne Cosgrove, We are truly sorry to your dissapointment. Unfortunately the day of his experience was December 30th, a bit complicated as many shops are closed to take the long weekend for Christmas or New Year Celebration. Additionally, the weather was not very helpful. However, we hope that you enjoyed sailing the Rio de la Plata and the Delta Tigre. We hope you can visit us again so that you can reverse your opinion and enjoy the quality of our services. We really appreciate your comments as it helps us improve our services. Best regards, Tangol

Dear Kamran Asadpour, Thank you for your comments. The excursion booked is a regular service so the schedules are estimated, not exact. Except for private tours. The city of Buenos Aires is a very big city and sometimes the traffic makes that there can be delays in the pick-up. In your particular case, because of the location of your hotel the estimated time was from 9:30AM (last hotel). We regret that there has been a misunderstanding in the pick-up time. We are glad to know that the tour guide and the driver did a good job and were wonderful with you! Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services. A great full day in a lovely place in Argentina
Dec 2019
The tour we took was great and our guide, Alejandra, was so friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the full day at Tigre. Our favorite part was the ride along the river, especially just the last mile or so, before arriving at the town. The tour provided very complete information as well. I recommend it for sure.

A very dull morning
Dec 2019 • Friends
We were told to be at the office for pick up at 8.45am. We arrived a little early so as not to hold anybody up but the bus arrived at 9.15. This was followed by 2 hours on a bus for a very dull boat trip that could have been over in 10 minutes.

A wasted morning when there are so many other things to see.

Dear Dianne Allen, We are truly sorry to hear that you did not enjoy this experience. The excursion you booked is a regular service in which we must go through different hotels to pick up passengers. Your location was the second to get on the bus. The pick up time is not exact because depends on traffic and travellers. Your confirmation was from 8:45AM. The day you participated in the excursion, it was a small group, you shared the tour with another 11 people. In relation to the capacity of the boat it is the one that is authorized by the regulatory agencies. In high season the volume of people is higher than the rest of the year. Anyway, the seat and comfort of the passenger is always guaranteed. On the other hand, we have different options for different preferences and types of passengers. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your visit to the delta islands. We really appreciate your comments as it helps us improve our services. Best regards, Tangol

Tigre is beatiful!
May 2019 • Family
I truly love "Tigre". The ships coming and going all the time. I really like to visit "mercado de pulgas" on weekends too. I was there on may in 2017 and I wish to come back one of this days.
