The tour guide Florencia and the driver were excellent. They are very fun and they provided excellent service. They were punctual to pick us up and their rates are excellent as well. They made our experience a very beautiful one. They go beyond what is expected.

QUITE A GOOD TOUR
Mar 2020 • Solo
This tour started with a very pleasant boat ride in the river and to the delta, followed by a light lunch (empanadas of course) before we set off in the bus to tour Tigre and San Isidro. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable and the tour was very satisfactory.

Worthwhile tour
Dec 2019
We took this tour while on a layover between cruises. Good coordination with the operator to set up a pickup point outside of the cruise terminal. Drop off was even better. This is a good sight seeing cruise through the many remote homes in the Tigre River Delta. The portion to Catedral de San Isidro was interesting not as spectacular as many European cathedrals. Good narrative by the guide.

Very worthwhile tour
Guide Marianna was both very competent and personable. Driver Damian was also impressive. The river cruise especially the delta part was interesting. You could watch from both the top deck or lower compartment which was air conditioned. The snack and coffee on the way out were minimal, but the lunch in Tigre was excellent. There was a misunderstanding about our drop off point but the tour agency settled it very fairly by getting us a car back to our hotel. I think this tour is a fun way to get out of the city and see another corner of Argentina.

Relax where the locals go.
Feb 2020
An easy day trip away from the city of Buenos Aries. Good to get fresh air and see where the locals go to relax. The houses in the Delta are built near the water with their own private jetty. No cars, only boats for transport. Lots of water sports eg. Kayaks, rowing. Drive back to the city through leafy suburbs and call into SAN Isidro Cathedral.

Perfect trip tp take for the downtime between the cruise ending and the flight leaving from Buenos Aires
Feb 2020
Andres, took my wife and I on a wonderful, private tour of the hidden places of northern BA. Then, after a short stop at a local, farmers' market (BTW, I could spend hours there), we took a really beautiful boat ride up the Tigre. Stopped at wonderful restaurant (Gato Blanco).and then arrived at the airport at the perfect time to catch the plane back to the USA.

Tigre Delta is well worth a visit
if you are staying in BA and have time, the Tigre delta is well worth a visit. It is very different to downtown BA and quite picturesque. The various tour options available have the benefit of hotel pick up and drop off. However the downside is that the boats then leave from the main port area. This means it takes around 45 mins before you get to the delta and the interesting bit! The views of the coastline are OK but nothing special.

As well as the delta, we had a snack lunch of Empanadas and a visit to the fruit and furniture market. The market was good but visit time a bit short at just 20 mins.

On the drive back to BA, we stopped at San Isidro to see the cathedral for 10 mins.

If I was doing this again, I would get a taxi to the delta from BA. Taxis are very reasonable in BA and a great way to get around. Then take one of the many local boat trips available around the delta. Then Have a nice lunch at one of the many local restaurants in the area.
Spend an hour or so at the market before getting a taxi back to your hotel. The taxi can stop at San Isidro for 5 minutes if required.

Our guide and driver were good, but once on the boat most of the explanation is pre recorded, so all tours get the same commentary. The initial tour towards the port in BA will mostly already have been covered during a city tour.

Great boat ride - if you've done the BA highlights this is certainly the next one to do
Feb 2020
Picked up on time, taken to boat and enjoyed a leisurely 2 hour cruise up the coast initially then through the delta islands towards Tigre. Very informative and I'm very glad we did it. Best place to view is from boats top (open) deck so try to choose a nice day if you can. Excellent guide. Empanada lunch offered and then a bus ride back to town. Definitely take the full boat ride up (other options I've seen are bus mostly up and only a short boat ride). Bus ride back through San Isidro was very nice and showed a side of B.A. one does not normally get as a tourist hanging around Recoleta!

A Great Day Trip
This is a great way to see another part of the country if you’re only visiting for a few days. We were picked up at our B&B in Palermo and our guide, Gustavo was very friendly and versatile. He had no problems switching back and forth from Spanish and English. We were in very safe hands with our driver. The 2 hour boat trip was enjoyable and the empanada lunch was as delicious. Be sure to try the lemonade! The market and cathedral were interesting; however the best part was listening to Gustavo talk about living in Argentina and the history of his country. There is no
doubt that the guide makes the trip!
