          Amazing scenery
Christian was our guide for this tour. He was excellent: very professional, polite and had an enormous amount of knowledge about the area, which he shared with enthusiasm and clear enjoyment. We felt that we were not rushed at all, we were allowed to dictate the time spent at each location and lunch in Simonstown was relaxed and in a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. We also had plenty of time with the penguins and at the Cape of Good Hope. fantastic tour experience.

          Excellent tour guide
We had Moses as our tour guide, who was professional, courteous and informative. He was extremely knowledgeable about the city and showed us all of the main sites, including a tour of the Diamond Works (with champagne) and the castle. He also kept an eye on the queue lines at the cable car (via an App), so when we arrived there we had less than a 5 minute wait at both ends. We never felt rushed and were allowed to linger wherever we wanted to.

          Very inspiring
This was such an amazing experience. It was an afternoon trip and first off our driver/guide took us to the District Six museum. Our guide explained some of the exhibits and had great knowledge of the group areas act and how this impacted the people involved. He then gave us some time to look around on our own. We were then taken to Langa township. We were given lots of history on the way about the passing landmarks and history of Capetown. When we arrived at Langa we were passed to a second guide who took us around, introducing us to the people that live there and explaining the housing system and the ways the community come together to support each other. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this tour to everyone that visits Cape Town. It’s very easy to pass these townships from the highway and make a judgement. The tour give you real insight into the positivity that thrives in the area and the strength and resilience of the people living there.

Not great value for money & felt rushed
Worse than expected. Booked half day wine tour. Picked up at pre-arranged time but the next 2 pick ups were at the same time and the one couple weren’t ready so had to go back for them. Then the driver got on the wrong road. We got stuck in traffic on the motorway. When we got to Stellenbosch it was rush hour so we got stuck in traffic again. This meant that the two wine tastings we attended were rushed. Don’t feel it was value for money

          Day trip around the Cape
A one day trip is a great way for people with limited time to view the key features of the peninsula. Comfortable transport, knowledgable driver and lunch included.

          Informative and social
Comprehensive . Lots of information about history and area. Both wineries friendly and good service. Choice of wine and cheese pairing was good. Never tried dried meats so a new experience

          Worts guide ever.
I had a tour on 26.12.2024. I don’t understand my tour guide’s English He is very rushing all the time that i dont feel like im having a vacation I just visit Namibia with a local tour guide and they are fantastic so i am not sure is it different country different style or i am not lucky to seems like a random guy during this holiday season His knowledge also not up to par He is very confident about HALAL food and brought us to Harbour View Restaurant saying that their chicken/beef/lamb is halal. He is totally wrong, if u dont know than just say you dont know. Halal food is not anything as long as not PORK, chicken/meat should be slaughtered in HALAL way and have the certificate. I dont like when i was not given an option of the restaurant (or he gets commission for bringing the tourist? I dont know) Wine Estate visit is the most useless trip, staff and environment is not educative. I am aware i cant drink alcohol but there is no welcoming drinks (at least mineral water/juice) no cheese nothing You should cater for Muslim friendly package.. eventhough we cant drinks ,some sort of knowledge about the process is fun too.

          Average wine trip
Wines were disappointing. First winery which was the better one we felt rushed. Second winery was very average. Best bit was interesting information given by our guide on the bus out of Capetown about the townships.

The whole trip was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting, the wineries were beautiful and the wines were excellent. The whole tour was great from start to finish.

Raegan was a great tour guide!
Raegan was brilliant from African Eagle, very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He gave us various tours across our first three days in Cape Town. Table Mountain, City Tour, Peninsula, and the wine region including Stellabosche. Always on time, happy to help and advise. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, knowledgable and friendly tour guide in South Africa! Thank you Raegan!

          Poor commitment to customers
Warning. Don't bother with these guys. We booked a tour for 8.AM. They called the night before at 8PM to cancel as they didn't have enough people. We committed to them and planned our day around the tour. To cancel and not meet their obligation at such short notice is pretty poor. They also knew we were taking 2 young ones with us. Poor poor poor.

          A Great African Experience
This place was recommended to us by the manager at Clarendon Hotel. The meal consisted of shared plates of eight appetizer dishes, and four entree dishes. My wife and I like spicy food so we really enjoyed the experience and the food. Our friends are less ‘spice-friendly”, so they did not enjoy their meal nearly as much as we did. The band started playing nice background music at about 7:30 PM, and the patrons had some great frolicking on the dance floor for the group birthday celebration ( for any customers who were there to celebrate a birthday).

There are better options, do your research
Our guide was not very knowledgeable about anything (albeit very sweet). We had been on several other excursions booked through other companies where the guides were much better. The day was pretty much ruined by a disastrous lunch experience. We had been told when we booked that we would have a choice for lunch, but I suspect that our guide receives kickbacks or some other compensation for basically forcing us into having lunch at the Marianne wine estate (which I have reviewed separately). This was a catastrophe on several levels. Not only did we have to wait HOURS to be served (I am not exaggerating) but when the food finally arrived, it was inedible. We had no choice but to eat it at that point, since we still had another wine tasting to go to. Because of the terrible service at Marianne, we missed the wine tram in Franschoek so our guide had to drive us directly to the next wintery instead. We then didn't have the time to visit Franschoek either. I find it interesting that on the drop-down list of tours to rate, the one we booked is not listed. It was called "Explore the winelands - Full day". AVOID. There are much better options out there.

          EBike the cape!
We toured with Byron who picked us up at 8:30 and entertained us all day! Good tour guide with a few interesting stops on the way to cape. We had not been on e-bikes before but a quick lesson and we were off. Made it super easy to hit the high spots before off for lunch and to see the penguins. Tour was well paced and much more interesting than sitting on a coach all day. Definitely recommend and only moderate fitness needed

The Full Day trip to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point
The whole day tour in our trip was very rushed. We were told to be ready by 8:30 AM but our pick up was delayed by about 20 minutes. We were picked up by a taxi and were driven all around town to meet up with the tour bus. There seemed to be some problems with communications and by the time we met up with the tour bus it was 11:00 AM at Hout Bay. Then there was an optional trip to the seal island. By the time we left Cape Town it was already noon. We reached the Cape of Good Hope and were given 20 minutes there and then we were taken to Cape Point. Again it was rushed, but here we were given about 40 minutes. Later we were taken to a restaurant for lunch at 3:00 pm. We again had to hurry because we had to get to Boulders Beach to see the penguins. This was a whole day trip, but it felt so rushed and frankly not worth the money. We would have been better off going with a private taxi. Also, this was extremely expensive and we did not get our moneys worth
