CapeyTours - an excellent tour company in Capetown
We had Capey Tours provide services from the moment we arrived in Capetown. We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel. We then had 4 days of tours in and around Capetown. For 3 days we had Kegan as our driver and guide and he was excellent. Good knowledge, fun and always ensuring our requirements were met. We always had good quality vehicles and we always felt safe. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Our exceptional driver and guide Henrik
Our driver and guide “Henrik” was very professional, considerate, extremely accommodating, and knowledgeable. We never got lost, saw more sites than we ever imagined in such a short time and kept close communication with me to confirm any schedule change or desire. I cannot say enough about our interaction with him. Henrik is an asset and a keeper!

          Special Trip!
My first time to Africa and it has been an absolute joy! It's not worth itemizing each beautiful moment because beautiful moments aren't to be itemized. The beauty and magic of South Africa can be captured by experiencing it in any way. But what made my trip special was the voluminous knowledge, helpful insights and shared fun from hiring Henry of Capey Tours. I aim for my travel journeys to be a bungee jump for my brain and a salt-water bath for my soul: Mission accomplished! Thank you Henry and Capey Tours!

Great Tour of Cape town and Victoria Falls
We booked a trip to Cape town and Victoria Falls through a site called Salty Travel, advisor Lucy Berndt, Whats App 27722849527. She in turn passed our Cape town tours to Capey Tours. We had all private tours led by Craig, the owner. This is the only way to see Cape town. Not in a group. Saw all the best sights and more and had a great time. Then Flew to Victoria Falls to see the falls and Chobe. This all was arranged by Salty Travel, who I highly recommend. Easy to contact on What's App.

          Highly recommend!
We were lucky enough to spend several days with Capey Tours and if we didn't hit all the highlights of the city and surrounding areas, we certainly came close. The daily activities were varied and exceeded expectations and Craig and Humphrey (and Ben, who tagged along for a day) were, without exception, deeply knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Thanks so much for great driving, great food, amazing wine, insights into ZA and excellent reggae.

          Not very informative
We saw a few flowers, but the flowers in general weren't great due to the weather (no fault of the tour guide!). The mini vans are seriously cramped and uncomfortable. Quite a few of the travellers, including myself, ended up with knee pain due to the lack of space between seats. The days are extremely long (8.30am to 6pm) with a lot of driving and toilet stops, and "time-filling activities", which don't involve any flowers. The guides have minimal knowledge of the actual flowers, nor much interest, which I found disappointing. Infact I asked about one specific flower and was told to check my brochure. There is very little communication given about stops and why we had stopped, and no communication about flowers. The accommodation was pretty enough, but there was almost no cupboard space nor table space- my clothes and toilettries ended up on the floor. And the door to the room was opaque glass, which allows the light in at night. The food was good- breakfasts and dinners were great and well catered; and we had plenty of bottled water.

It's a driving tour in a car with no windows on the last row.
First of all - it's a driving tour, the absolute majority are retired locals. The advantage is that you can talk to nice quiet people during the trip. But you must know that you will spend the most time on the car. On the first day we had approx. an hour to walk. On the second day it was a bit more. On the third day we could walk literally only 7 minutes through the fields. We also visited a flower show in a church and that was nice. The problem is that they have minivans with the last row without windows at all so that I could see NOTHING but the wall of the car or the back of the head of a passanger in front of me. I attach the pictures of the seats so that anyone can decide if it's normal to offer such seats for a panoramic tour where you spend nearly the whole day on the car. I will talk to my loyer being back to Germany in Oktober and keep the Internet Community updated. Another drawback was that we didn't get any information during the trip travelling in absolute silence. There were two buses and I think the quide on the other bus told some interesting things, because he eagerly answered my questions. On our bus it was just transportation but not guidance.

          Great half day adventure
Chris picked us up at the hotel, and in short order we were on the road. Riding these vintage bikes drew a lot of attention from biking enthusiasts. I loved the ride up the coast stopping in some local beach neighborhoods and enjoying the views. Great activity for groups!

          Namaqua Flower Tour
This trip was truly a tick on my bucket list. The tour was so well organised and ran so smoothly and you could see that Craig and his team put a lot of effort and thought into the tour with regards to all route and all the little things that they added - like the amarula coffee at the Quiver Tree Forest. Thank you Craig and your team for an unforgettable time.

          Really enjoyable
Perfect trip for viewing the amazing Namaqualand flowers. Stops at other non-flower locations gives it just the right balance. Craig and Michelle are perfect hosts and the lodge we stayed at was lovely. I would definitely would recommend this trip.
