Strongly recommend this tour provider. Our wine guide Eileen was simply the best - she was knowledgeable, very cooperative, and friendly. I wish all tour guides took a lesson from her.

Had a great day out travelling around the wineries tasting the new and unexpected. Our guide was a wonderful host for the day and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. I was a bit apprehensive about having too much, and I'm definitely not a spittoon gal (sacrilege!!) , but this tour is well paced, enough so that I felt OK to indulge with more at lunch. We were also very lucky that our tour ended up being private too. I learned quite a bit, tasted things I enjoyed that I didn't expect to, seen some beautiful scenery and had some great food. We bought a few bottles as we went, but didn't feel any pressure to purchase. They all made it home safely with no casualties in the luggage as we bought some little padded sleeves to protect them. Really enjoyed our day and felt it was great value for all that we visited and tasted. Was definitely a bonus to have a knowledgeable guide and driver so you can taste as much or as little as you fancy

Willem gave us a lovely day out , visiting 4 different wineries, all with their own different stories to tell, different wine styles and beautiful locations. He's both knowledgeable and fun. I thoroughly recommend this tour, or contacting him to arrange a more personalised trip , but it's worth taking his advice rather than saying exactly where you want to visit

We were collected by Eileen punctually and found we were the only two people on the tour that day. Eileen asked us about our expectations and took us to 3 wineries during the day. At each of the beautiful wineries she selected a series of wines making sure there was at least one less usual wine choice per winery. We had a lovely lunch at the Mont Marie restaurant between wineries 2 and 3. The knowledge of the staff at the wineries and Eileen’s experience really made the day for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone.

We ended up having a very personal experience with one other lovely couple for the day. We were picked up in Cape Town by Willem who assisted us with our luggage as we were moving to a hotel in Stellenbosch. The selected wineries were really beautiful, with fabulous wine and a cheese pairing at L’Avenir where we were also taken on a tour of the cellar. The lunch location was appalling service waiting >30mins to even get table water, but to no fault of the tour operator. Had a fantastic day and would be sure to go with Willem again if we are back in the region.

The tour was amazing. Excellent places, excellent wines and, of course, an excellent guide. There were only two of us on the tour this time, so in fact it turned to be a private tour for the price of a group one :) The wineries were selected according to our tastes and it was a one hundred percent hit. Especially we liked the tasting with the cheese pairing in L'Avenir winery. To bottom line it, the tour was totally according to what was advertised - custom-tailored tour on the small family-owned wineries with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends who goes two South Africa and interested in wines.

A magnificent day out. Our guide George was great company and really.informative. The vineyard locations were spectacular. Variation and quality of the wines was superb. The wine and cheese match up was a particular highlight. Small group tours for the best experience

Eileen was a really competent guide, she was explaining all about stellenbosch and choose amazing vineyards. We loved so much I would 100% recommend her. It suppose to be a small group and surprisingly it becomes a private tour as it was just me and two friends. The wines and the explanations were amazing.

Expected the day to be with a group but ended up as a private personal tour for my wife and me. Wow what a fantastic day. Our fabulous guide George Green made the day so perfect with his knowledge and great Conversation. The wines we tasted and the Venues were terrific. Lunch at the Mont Marie brilliant. This was our first wine tour and our tour guide, George, was absolutely fantastic, he was very welcoming and immediately put us at ease. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wine industry and we learned so much. The wine farms that he chose were very unique and not your mainstream farms. We would highly recommend George for his friendly and vibey attitude and knowledge and experience in the industry and in Cape Town in general.

This was an amazing experience & led expertly by our guide George through the Stellenbosch region. He was extremely knowledgeable & the banter just flowed, we had an absolute ball from talking through different wines, varietals to cricket & rugby.... George is the host with the most! The wineries themselves, spectacular! The wines, beautiful & lunch was perfect. In comparison to other wine tours in the region & elsewhere, hands down the best experience to date.

Absolutely outstanding tour. We have travelled extensively and can say this is most definitely one of our best trips ever. Eileen our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and great company. We are not normally wine drinkers but got to understand the history from Eileen and enjoyed our tastings sessions at some beautiful wineries. The scenery was spectacular. Only the 4 of us on the trip so turned out to be a private tour. Can’t recommended this enough .

We were picked up from our hotel by Eileen , our guide for the day - she was brilliant , friendly, very knowledgeable and good company. We visited several vineyards and had a lovely lunch . The location and scenery were amazing ( we had a lovely sunny day which was a bonus). Although not wine connoisseurs we thoroughly enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend this trip . Again thanks to Eileen who made the trip informal , fun and very interesting.
