This was an excellent day. We took in so much, but at a leisurely pace. Ash, our guide, was extremely knowledgable. He gave us eclectic information on history, geography, geology and nature. Thanks to him we saw a Zebra, a caracal, ostrich and penguins as well as baboons. The drive was stunning and we felt we had had a brilliant introduction to the Cape peninsula. We would definitely recommend Ash as a guide.

Ilios were booked by Virgin holidays for all the pick ups and transfers from airports and hotels during our stay in South Africa. Every one was punctual and new comfortable vehicles. 4x4s taking us to safari lodge and new Toyota luxury mini vans around Franschhoek and Cape Town. All drivers were extremely professional and keen to ensure we were comfortable. Absolutely spot on service. I will definitely use Ilios again when in South Africa

This was an amazing day and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to CapeTown. Our bus was clean, our driver was very knowledgeable, and we were amazed at how well our driver timed out our day.

Christopher was a great guide! We had Chris as a guide for our city tour, wine country and cape of good hope tours. He’s friends with everyone! We had trouble getting tickets to Robben island so he made a call and viola we had four tickets. Chris took us to Langa and introduced us to a colleague who showed us the township. Our honeymoon in Cape Town was significantly enhanced by the expertise and warmth of our guide, Aslam Benjamin. Even though my primary language is Korean, and my command of English might not capture every nuance, the tour with Aslam was nothing short of spectacular. His detailed expositions on the stunning vistas and historical depth of Cape Town were both engaging and accessible, making every moment memorable. What stood out was Aslam’s professionalism - his punctuality and courtesy were impeccable, making us feel respected and valued. His 28 years of experience shone through, providing insights that only a seasoned guide could offer. Both my wife, whose English is somewhat limited, and I found the tour to be incredibly satisfying, thanks to Aslam’s skillful communication and attentiveness to our needs. For Koreans with a reasonable level of English, touring with Aslam promises a uniquely enriching experience. His ability to tailor the tour to accommodate different language proficiencies ensured that we were both comfortable and fully engaged. We are already looking forward to returning to Cape Town for a family trip, hoping to once again have Aslam as our guide. We are currently touring South Africa and Ilios are our ground handling agents. So far they have been absolutely excellent. Today we are in Cape Town and have just finished a Day Tour with Tiaan as our guide. Had the most informative and enjoyable day. Tiaan is a great guide and was very caring and so enthusiastic about his country. Couldn’t have packed much more into our day. We’ve come away with a better appreciation of the history and geography of Cape Town and the people. Would definitely recommend a private day tour and ask for Tiaan. We toured for three days with Faisal and he was absolutely outstanding! Highly knowledgeable, knew the best places to go and the fastest ways to get there. He was also very flexible and allowed us to build and adjust our itinerary on the fly - extremely useful considering the weather in Cape Town can change in an instant! We toured the whole area in Cape Town, down to the Cape of Good Hope, around the city, and then spent a day in the winelands (three days total) and each one was perfect, even when it was raining. Thank you Faisal for an amazing trip!

Andullah is the absolute best host you can imagine, we actually had 2 days in which he showed us around, the first day we went to the cape point and he had so much knowledge and could really tell stories in a very enjoyable way. Besides that you could ask him literally anything and he was very knowledgable on all subjects regarding South Africa, wines, townships, he called a spade a spade. On our 2nd day he took us to Stellenbosch to a couple of vineyards and he even treated us on a wine tasting, how absolutely incredible. All in all it has been a 6 out of 5 experience and this has been mostly due to Andullah's amazing hosting!

ILIOS travel was our guide over a 9 day visit to South Africa. They worked with TrovaTrip to organize an eventful tour for 20 women traveling through the Western Cape. It was quite the amazing experience! I want to make sure to thank our tour guide Dumisani. He was simply amazing and was the best guide! Also, I need to mention our driver Nazeem. This man drove us all over the Western Cape across the beautiful landscape safely. There was never a moment when we didn't feel like we were safe and we traveled through the mountains on edges of cliffs, on small streets, etc and he did great every single time. The tour included seeing the Penguins, Table Mountain, a visit to an elephant and monkey sanctuary, the towns of Plettenberg Bay and Hermanus. We visited Aquila Safari Private Game Reserve, Benguela Cove winery and many other sites along the way. I would highly recommend, 10/10! We had a great full day around wineries in Cape Town. It was our last day in Cape Town and our airplane was leaving at night. At the very last minute my wife left her phone in the last of the wineries. Our guide, Phaldie Daniels made all the efforts to get our phone back on time and made arrangements with the tour company to take us to the airport instead of the assigned person to make sure he could get it back and we were on time at the airport. Thank you Phaldie, we'll never forget your efforts and kindness!!.

My husband and I had planned this full day experience aiming to know more of the culture and daily live in Cape Town, our guide Phaldie Daniels understood very well our interests and gave us an excellent experience, full of new knowledge while giving us enough time free to enjoy ourselves. We had a city tour and Table Mountain included. Our guide. Phaldie Daniels was very nice. Since the beginning he gave us his phone number and arranged communication via WhatsApp whith his phone wifi as a hot spott. We started with Table Mountain in a beautiful day packed with people. He wisely suggested to upgrade our tickets to skip the long queues. We had arranged our city tour very loosely, we didn't want to do the traditional city tour and wanted to experience the actual city life and culture. He understood us very well and gave us lots of information related to our interests. He was very friendly and helpful and made us a wonderful half a day.
