Gordon was fantastic. The tour was always interesting, he was entertaining and answered all our questions and anticipated all our needs. He was solicitous and nothing was too much trouble. His pride and love for his hometown was evident and he parted lots of local knowledge. Highly recommended!!

Gordon was an amazing driver and guide. Would tell us curiosities about the places we were passing by. The stopping times were also well planned, enough to roam around and take great pictures. The penguin beach, hout bay boat tour, bo-kaap, cape of good hope are amazing places to go and well worth it!

My wife and I pre-booked ourselves on this large group experience. The ferry ride from Cape Town to Robben Island was a comfortable half hour ride, featuring a relevant and informative history video, on a full 196-passenger boat. Upon arrival, we rode a full bus to the prison narrated by historian Toya with thoroughness, Q and A, and even humor. At the prison, when we got off, Toya turned all of us over to a guide who'd been one of the political internees during apartheid at the same time as Nelson Mandela. He walked us through multiple buildings, including the solitary cells and the group barracks. While many of us from various countries had trouble understanding our new guide's local accent, I believe that was mitigated by the power of his being there to report as a personal witness. Years from now, when personal witness has become impossible, I hope tours will continue with clearer well-trained guides and smaller groups, maybe less powerfully but more clearly. The ferry ride back included another video, different (except for the safety briefing) and equally informative.

We had an amazing time. Our driver whose name is Djiby was the best. On the way to the tasting he gave us a history lesson about Cape Town and when we arrived at the vineyards he was very accommodating with our time. Whenever you book this tour ask for Djiby!

I spent the day with Thomas, who was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and provided so much history about Cape Town and South Africa. The private tour allows you to customize or emphasize certain stops over others. I would recommend this tour!

Gordon was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! We had such a fun day exploring Cape Point and seeing the penguins. The funicular was brilliant and had amazing views. Gordon really looked after us every step of the way and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend this trip!

Wow, my cup is so full from our day of touring with Alfani! My daughter (22) + I had such an amazing introduction to so much of what Cape Town has to offer. The itinerary was well planned enabling us options along the way, and included minor adjustments in the order to help us get more out of the experience (e.g. miss the crowds). Alfani is very knowledgeable and friendly, we enjoyed our time so much with him and have 100% confidence in providing high recommendation.

Today's tour exceeded my expectation I must admit. I've done several tours and this one by far is the most memorable. Our guide, Gordon made this an exceptional experience. I could tell when he arrived that we would be spending the day with family(inviting and friendly personality). He messaged me the night before of his eta for pickup and kept me updated on his location while en route, until arriving. He remembered and addressed everyone by name..He was very knowledgeable of all things Capetown(history, culture, food, etc) The views were simply breathtaking and taking them in with Gordon was the icing on the cake. I feel totally well informed on the Cape and have several lasting memories of the tour i will never forget. I would recommend everyone book this tour and hope and pray they get Gordon!

Managed to do and see so much in a day. Our tour guide Marshall was super friendly and he made the trip so much better. Really recommend this day trip.

Had an utterly fabulous day out with Reuben last week on our private tour, just me & my 86yr old mum. Reuben was very solicitous and considerate, asking what mum could/couldn't do, and tailored the day around us, which was really appreciated. With a pick up at 9am and a drop off at 6.30pm it was a packed day, and the highlight of my week in Cape Town. Reuben is a wealth of knowledge, packing in so many facts about the history of the coastline; from the Portuguese, to the French and English..how False Bay got its name, down to the flora and fauna. He's a real credit to the organisation (not to mention it was like having my own personal photographer. I've never been in so many holiday pics.) We started in Bo-Kaap and then onto the Lions Head and 12 Apostles, Camps Bay & Houts Bay with appropriate picture taking spots along the way, down to Cape of Good Hope point and lighthouse at Cape Point Peak, breaking for lunch before stopping at Boulders Beach to see the Penguins (& a Dassie), before driving through Simons Town and seeing the Baboons. Highly recommend and worth every single penny!

We had the best tour. Marshall was an amazing tour/driver. Got to see exactly what we wanted. Good Hope and penguins we what we really enjoyed.

Our tour guide Gordon was excellent! He did a fantastic job explaining the various townships, allowing short but substantial breaks (coffee and bathroom) along the way. I feel I have a better understanding of Cape Town after this tour! The tour was long enough to take in all of the scenic views and plan additional sites to see afterwards. I highly recommend.

Beautiful trip The views were spectacular and Gordon did a great job filling in the background of all we saw. The penguins were such fun Gordon went out of his way to create a friendly and caring day for us all. Thank you Gordon
