Overlanding at its finest
Jun 2019 • Couples
Overlanding may not be for everyone but it would be a shame for someone to miss out on the experience Africa4us provided. We have no doubt the entire journey was fully pre-planned and orchestrated to the smallest detail. The most amazing part was that you would never know this was the case since every moment seemed created specifically to meet our personal needs and comforts. We learned there is so much more to Africa than "The Big Five". My only complaint was that this journey had to come to an end. We fell in love with Africa and consider the crew- Reinier, Clint and Riaan and the other guests (family) new lifelong friends. Thank you Africa4us!

Dear lcflanagan Thank you for a heartwarming review and the time you have spent in writing it. What an honor for us to be part of this experience in your life. We love your point of view that there is even more to Africa than the beautiful big five. Yes, good things come to an end, and new beginnings start because of that, know that you are welcome to come back to what you love. You have an Africa family that will help you every step of the way. Kind regards Africa4us

Incredible trip of a lifetime
Jun 2019 • Solo
I have just completed the 19-day Cape to Vic Falls serviced camping trip with Africa4us. This travel company has set a very high benchmark for my future travels. The overland truck was very comfortable and intuitively designed. The 3-member crew cared for our group like family. They are not just doing a job. They go above and beyond every single day. Our driver Clint took us safely over some very challenging roads and potholes the size of craters! 5000 km on African roads is no mean feat. Our tour leader and guide Reinier is an encyclopaedia on this amazing continent called Africa. His in-depth knowledge of the culture, people, landscape, plants, and animals enriched my experience immensely. The food we ate while camping was nothing short of gourmet. I know I’m going to miss Reinier’s deliciously healthy and wholesome meals when I get home. Campsites all had flush toilets and hot showers. The tents were of very good quality. The mattresses ensured I slept like a log every night.

The places we visited on the trip... what can I say? We saw some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. Wine and cheese at the rim of the Fish River Canyon and canoeing on the Orange River are unforgettable experiences. Star gazing over the Namib Desert was soul-stirring. The Okavango Delta is absolutely breathtaking. Seeing lions at Etosha NP was thrilling. Watching elephants cross the Chobe River was heartwarming. The mighty Victoria Falls took my breath away.

Africa4us was a chance discovery on the Internet and what a gem of a finding! I hope to return for another trip to East Africa one day.

An amazing way to see Southern African countries
Mar 2019 • Friends
The trip was amazing. We saw so much and were well looked after by our guide and driver who were both so knowledgeable and enhanced our experience. The food was good, the tents comfortable and the sights were memorable. The bus became our home and was well-appointed. Can’t recommend this trip enough.

Incredible well priced trip through Namibia
Mar 2019 • Couples
Spent some time researching before we decided on Africa4\Us. Extremely professional from point of booking to saying goodbye at the end of the tour. Comfortable vehicle, tents you can stand up in, mattresses you can actually sleep on, delicious variety of food, cooler for your personal cold beers/wine. 5000 kilometres in 19 days seemed daunting, but the drives were broken up by side trips, lunch stops, and with the incredible scenery, wild life, markets, coffee breaks so never too long without stretching ones legs. As a party of four 60+ year old from the Uk we loved every single minute. An epic adverntrue with epic crew, Ciourston and Reiner . Thanks so much

It's not a holiday; It's an adventure
Aug 2018 • Family
From the 30th of July 2018 till the19th of august 2018 we experienced a fantastic tour with Africa4us from Capetown to the Vick Falls in LIvingstone. We booked as a campingtour but on the way it was possible to upgrade to a lodge which was very convenient especcially the first nights. It was really chilly. We left from Capetown, drove through Namibië to Etosha and Windhoek where we crossed to border with Botswana. In this particular beautiful country we spotted a lot of animals and yes: also the BIg Five. We finished our adventure at the Victoria Waterfalls and also experienced a Morning Breezer at the Angel's Pool. Very cool.
During the trip truckdriver Alisha and guide/cook Wendy were super. Alisha is a very experienced and easy going driver and although the road was not always in good shape he managed to bring us to our destination safely and on time.
Wendy, our guide was fantastic. She told us many things about nature, country, people and animals. Also she took care for our wishes during this trip like booking several activities. Besides all this work she manages to prepare delicious, fresh food every day.
Wendy and Alisha did a fantastic job for us and we thank them for it because due to their effort it made our holiday(sorry our ADVENTURE) a success.

Alisha and Wendy are great and we are so grateful to have them on our team. We hope to welcome you again on another African adventure soon! Kind Regards, Daina
