Our curated wine experience was incredible. Our tour guide Roger ensured we learnt at each farm, tasted the best wines at each farm and walked away feeling amazing. It was the best experience, and Roger was a wonderful host. We are very glad to have had Roger as our guide. He ensured we received the best wines at each farm, and assisted us with choosing our favorites from each farm to purchase. Thank you Roger for the most fantastic day, despite the rain.

This was a very enjoyable experience. We visited five vineyards, tasting wine at each one and enjoying a very good meal at lunchtime. All of those we visited were very hospitable and the whole day was well organised. It was fun to see a group celebrating a fortieth birthday having a very merry day!! Good value for money and an experience not to be missed by wine drinkers when visiting this area.

We just concluded a full-day curated tour. Absolutely fantastic!! Ray-Dawn, our guide, provided incredible insights and understandings about the history and nuances of our experience!! Both the tastings at 3 estates and the lunch were beyond compare. Highly, highly recommended!!

Since I am not a wine-drinker, I went on the Winetram simple for the experience. And what an experience!!!! I LOVED every minute of it!! The HOHO experience is easy once you get the hang of it. The tram literally appears at your stop every hour. Take a tip and do some research on the particular farms you want to visit before you leave, This makes choosing easier.
The entire day was phenomenal though....much more than just wines!

The Wine Tram is just perfect. Very nice guides and also alot of great estates to visit. We did the yellow line, which i can hishly recomend. You should not miss out the lunch at Dieu Donne! I also did a wine tour in Stellenbosch, but the wine tram is much better.

Very pleasant. Would have liked to be on the tram for a longer period as it is called a Wine Tram tour and you end up being on it for only two of the 10 farms.

As a recent newcomer to travelling to Cape Town I've been on quite a few wine tours now and this was definitely one of the best. On our day we got as far as Allee Bleue then stopped for three hours. The lovely 'Thirsty Kirsty' was our host, it was a lovely vineyard and didn't come across as commercial as some others that we've visited. Another great location but very relaxed, fabulous wines and we were very well looked after. The trams are a novel way of getting around and the drivers were a lot of fun. Very highly recommended.

Is this children friendly? We’ll be with a 12 and 9 year old for the tram tour so wondering if kids are allowed. Thanks

If I sign up for this tour, are lunch reservations/availability included (meal paid by me)? And at which vineyard? About what time of day does the tour end?

How were you transported from Cape Town to Franschhoek? Does the tram run everyday in the wine valley? How expensive was this trip?
Can you hire a driver/car instead of taking the bus?
