We were picked up from our hotel by Denver our guide for the day. He was so interesting and knowledgeable about the history of Cape Town - how he remembered so many dates of settlers and their names I'll never know! He drove carefully, gave us time at each stop to get a good look around and explained what to look for. On the way to the Cape we stopped at Hout Bay for an optional seal island boat trip which we didn't bother with as saw seals in the V & A docks. We then visited Cape Point, went up the Flying Dutchman funicular, went to the signs at Cape of Good Hope for a photo opportunity (nothing else there) and in the park saw baboons, ostrich and antelope. From there we travelled to Boulders Beach to see the amazing penguins. Before returning to our hotel we had a 30 minute walk around the tree top canopy in Kirstenbosch. Again Denver provided a running commentary on the plants and trees making our short visit informative. Can recommend this tour company

Great tour that covered a ton of the main sites. It was a full day tour where we saw Hout Bay, Seal Island, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach/Penguins, Muizenberg Beach, Kirstenbosch Gardens. A lot of add on charges for tickets that we weren’t made aware of before the tour (boat to Seal Island, furnicular to Cape Point, entrance to Boulders Beach). I highly recommend the hike from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope.

I did a full day Cape Peninsula tour. I picked the this tour because the itinerary showed 15 highlights. I assumed that we would be stopping at all 15 highlights, but mostly we just drove by most of the places. We did stop a few times for a view point, but mostly we were in car.
We did stop at Hout Bay (optional seal tour), Cape Good Hope/Cape Point (for lunch, althought we could have used an extra half hour to enjoy this a bit more), Boulder Beach (optional Pengiun sighting), and Kirstenbosch (for a short visit, which for us was less than 45 mins).
After the pick ups, the tour started at 9am. I would suggest to either start earlier, as the distances are quiet big or skip a few highlights. Looking back the entire day felt really rushed. I really wanted to stop at Muizenberg, which we did, but just for 5 mins. And in the end it was at the wrong color houses too. I felt a little bit misleaded, so changing the program will give visitors a better idea of what to expect.
Our guide, Cheryl, was lovely and had good knowledge on the area. She did try to accommodate our wishes.

I booked the Peninsula full day tour based on the description in the brochure and after speaking with my hotel. This was intended to be a full day tour from 8 or 9 am through 5:30pm. The pickup did not turn up until around 9:45 and I was back at my hotel by 4:30pm. The tour highlights are advertised as follows:
HIGHLIGHTS
*Clifton & Camps Bay
*Twelve Apostles
*Llandudno
*Hout Bay (optional boat trip to Seal Isalnd)
*Chapmans Peak Drive
*Noordhoek
*Ostrich viewing
*Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
*Cape Point
*Cape of Good Hope
*Penguin Colony (optional)
*Simons Town
*Muizenberg
*Constantia
*Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Of the listed we only stopped at 4 places including: Hout Bay (20 minutes and not at the beach, at a road side market), Cape Point (10 minutes) and Cape of Good Hope (lunch stop), Penguin Colony (20 minutes) and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (25 minutes).

The remaining listed places we drove by, at around 160km/h so unable to really see the places. We stopped for a quick picture at the top of the hill at chapmans peak drive, but that was literally hop off the van take a picture and get back on. We nearly didn't stop at all at Hout Bay as the group did not want to do the seal island. We did however want to spend some time off the van! The entire experience was rushed and the guide, although seemingly knowledgeable, was also the driver so spent most of the trip behind the wheel.

I was truly disappointed with this trip as I had limited time available in cape town and feel that a day was wasted seeing next to nothing. There must be better options available, I would not waste my time with this group.

Great way to see the Cape. Picked up at the hotel, went to Cape of Good Hope, optional boat trip to see seals (no one did that on my trip) &!optional trip into Simon’s Town for penguins. Most of us bought the ticket into the Simon’s Town penguin viewing area and it was really neat, I’ve never seen so many penguins! Lots of baby penguins at the time I was there.

Our guide was good, he answered all our questions and was laid back just enough it kept the tour casual but on time. At the end of the tour there was a quick tour of the Gardens as well- it’s a very full day! Tour was 8 people so nice small group. (I really appreciated that each time I saw a charter bus full of people being rushed from one site to another while we could take our time and just wait for those crazy masses to move on!)

I've booked two full day tours with African Eagle Day tours. The Cape Peninsula and Safari tour to Inverdoorn. Both days where perfect. The drivers are friendly, give a lot of information about the areas you travel through.

I split my rating into two parts:

1 star rating to the operations and people running the schedules and pickups. Very inefficient. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes of waiting and driving around in city center. And we only had a total of 5 people after this torturous hour. And 2 of them were on the wrong tour. I wanted to scream. I felt bad for me and the driver. Because if this ridiculous show, our day felt incredibly rushed. This should be simple, but the last minute changes were uncalled for.

I give our Guide, Cornelia, an excellent rating of 4 stars. She stayed positive despite the driving around the back office made her do and was very informative of the region. We did several stops mentioned and it ended up being 4 of hs so we negotiated more and less time at places we wanted to see throughout the day including the Penguins.

This is the second full day tour I did with this company. The guides and itineraries are awesome but honestly, I won't do another one. Time is too precious as a tourist. I need to be with a tour operator that will respect this.

We had a full day private tour for a group of 5 people.
Our guide Farooq was amazing, funny, and very friendly. he explained everything on the way in details and tried his best to enjoy our time
because of him, we also booked the safari tour as well the next day and he did all the arrangements and gave us a good prices as well

highly recommend the tour. everything was really great and nice
P.S. we should have a wifi on the tour, but it seems the company did not place it in the car before we leave. (that was the only comment we have)

The trip felt rush! So little time{like 5-10 min)on the good spots like cape of good hope and spent so much time at the garden which the tour guide ddnt let us explore the garden by ourselves and was reading the description on each stop at the garden, and then telling us what he read. We could just read it by ourselves! Such a waste of time.
