Very comfortable coach from the "hop on hop off" company. A very scenic drive and splendid comentry by "Mark" - our second tour with him.

We also took a two day ticket with this company for the open top buses which we felt were excellent value.

The tour was exactly as described and, although packed, I didn’t feel rush at all during the stops. The tour company was very accommodating of my requests (had to change the date of the tour a couple of times due to unforeseen circumstances) and promptly answered all my questions. I was travelling alone and did a lot of research before picking the tour company for my day trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We were a group of 10 in a comfortable mini van so it was easy to keep on time and beat the crowds. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

First know it is a long tour day. You will see a lot in one day from Chapmans peak, boulders bay, cape point to the botanical gardens. The view from Chapmans peak is lovely. The boat ride to seal island is not so much to see the seals because they are there in the harbor anyway, it's the scenery that is beautiful. So if the weather is half decent take the boat ride and enjoy (warning it will be several degrees cooler on the water so a jacket might be nice to have along).
We had Elaine as a guide and she was great. The first stop at the store wasn't too necessary but everything else was great.
The penguins are adorable. We really enjoyed seeing them.
The stops at Cape point and the light house are must do tourist stops. They are pretty but at the light house watch out for the baboons. We saw a lot of them and they are not nice or cute. They will steal your stuff, we saw one steal a soda from a woman's hand, rather aggressive buggers. So be warned about them if your guide doesn't mention them.
The botanical garden was nice but probably would be prettier in the spring when more is flowering but it was still a nice stop.
Overall the tour was well run, we saw a lot in one day but never felt hurried or stressed.
My only ding on the entire thing was with Springbok's office- answer emails about pickup times! I sent in 2 emails asking to confirm the pickup time with NO REPLY to either. We had to assume it was 8:30 pickup but they came at 7:52 and we were not ready. They had to go pick someone else up and come back for us at 8:10 which meant we had to rush and skip breakfast. Not cool. The office needs to answer emails and give people the actual pickup time. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating.

We had limited time in Cape Town and therfore this tour allowed us to see lots of the island in a day. Far more than we would of done alone. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and made it fun. Boulders bay was fabulous but so many people in such a small space.
We visited. Cape point. Cape of good hope. Seal island. Boulders bay. And many more places. A great day out.

We did this tour with the Thomson guy name Andrea, she made the trip. We had two other trips with Thompson and we’re not impressed at all. Not sure we would use them again, but they were certainly decent for this trip. We would’ve liked to of stopped at more of the small towns, so we would recommend a private tour if possible. Lessons learned on this one. The entire drive is beautiful. Thank you Andrea.

You can see a lot in one day. It is a bit touristic and commercial but not pushy at all. Boat trip to see seals, enough time at cape of good hope and cape point. Decent lunch and nice tour to the penguins ending at Kirstenbosch botanical garden. I enjoyed the tour but you need to be prepared that you will sit a long time in the van - I was prepared. I want to recommend this to all single traveller and people that are not willing to rent a car. Group was also nice.

We didn’t think it’d be possible to see so much in such a short time. The trip is very well organized, flexible (optional parts, time to spend on your own if desired) and the guide (Ashley in our case) is extremeley knowledgable, entertaining, kind and helpful. Definitely recommended!

There is nothing particularly wrong with this tour—except being told there was no time to drive through Muizenberg—but compared to other tours, it was not very special.

We had an excellent time with Jacques during one of the busiest times of the year. It seems that everybody decided to tour the peninsula on the same day. We were picked up on time in the morning and proceeded to start our tour (13 participants + guide + driver). The guide, Jacques, was very good. He explained what we were going to do and how to make the most out of the experience. Any inquiry was met with a smile and if requested, followed up with a recommendation. There was a lot of tourist traffic at the attractions but Jacques and the driver found a way to get us our experience in the Cape without any hick-ups. Our Highlight - Cape Point.
