We did the sunrise visit in mid-January. The service was on time and provided a delightful day. Our day’s guide was Nhlamulo. We felt perfectly safe the entire time and he maneuvered our vehicle to provide everyone a view of the animals. Nhlamulo shared that he studied two years to become a guide and it showed. His passion was the birds but he was able to share his knowledge of the animals, some animal physiology (do you know which animals have one vs multiple stomachs?), animal behavior, geology and local knowledge of where the animals were. We saw 4 of the big 5, only missing rhinos. Crowds were not a problem. Fun times!

Incredible and unforgettable experience with the best driver, Enock! He was very good in spotting even the smallest animals and very knowledgeable about the Krüger National Park and its animals. We learned a lot during the tour and really enjoyed it.

The experience was extraordinary. Happy was our Guide and he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the park and the animals. I learned so much and will request him when we travel again to Kruger National. Definitely one for the Play List.

We spent 4 days in an eco lodge just outside Hazyview. Each day we were picked up by Kurt Safari by our guide Gareth. He was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable. He went to great lengths to ensure we saw a large selection of the wild life, and could answer any question our small group asked. He also took us up to God’s Window, and Blyde River areas. A wonderful day out which he enhanced by his care and charm. My only negative comment was that on the first day Kurt travel subcontracted the tour to a different company. Their vehicle had disfunctional seat belts. At one point four of us were trapped in our seats! We eventually were released and did not use them again, despite a notice telling us to wear them! I would recommend Kurt Travel and Gareth.

We visited the park on the 3rd of January 2025 and what an amazing trip it was! We had an incredible experience with Kurt Safari’s! As we were waiting for our pickup from Umbhaba Lodge, it was pouring with rain. Upon his arrival, our guide, Dixson, immediately offered rain ponchos and rolled down the side flaps to ensure that we did not get drenched in the rain. Entering the park was smooth sailing as Dixson handled all the registrations seamlessly. He took his time explaining all the animals we saw and took us on all the side roads to ensure we saw predators up close. During one encounter, an elephant came right up to the game viewer, which was absolutely amazing. Dixson has so much knowledge and explained the behavior of the animals and what we need to look for if we choose to drive ourselves one day. We stopped for a restroom break and coffee at the picnic spot, which was a treat! The Phabeni gate flooded just after we entered, resulting in us needing to exit from the Numbi gate as we needed to get back to Hazyview. We were really scared as the Numbi area is not that great, but Dixson assured us that he had taken all precautionary measures to ensure our safety and dropped us off at the lodge with no issues. I will definitely recommend Kurt Safari’s to anyone who wants to visit the park and not drive themselves.

We took a private sunrise Safari with our family of 4 ( 2 adults, 6 year old and 4 year old) led by “famous Amos”. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Amos provided a lot of information about the animals and was very engaged with our family. We saw all of the big 5 and lots of other animals. Highly recommend for your trip to Kruger NP.

We were staying at the Kruger Gate Hotel and booked the safaris from Kurt Safari via our hotel. We had a afternoon safari with Senzo, a full day safari with Fortune and and a morning safari with Enock. All our guides were amazing and we enjoyed the safaris very much. Our last safari was with Enock who was a very kind and knowledgeable guide and he knew exactly how to get the best out of every situation. He also gave his very best so that we could see what we wanted and he did his job perfectly! We saw all Big 5 in one session and the absolute highlight was seeing 5 lions with 4 cubs at the end and we were always in perfect position to see them and take pictures of them. We couldn‘t have ended our safari better! Our first safari was the afternoon safari with Senzo. He was extremely funny and charming and joked a lot. We were very lucky with him as well and saw a lot of rare animals, such as wild dogs or the honey badger. We even saw a leopard at the very beginning (unfortunately it was hidden well under the trees and bushes). It was a great start for our safaris. With fortune we had a lot of luck as well on our full day safari and he knew a lot and told us so many interesting things. We saw wild dogs and a male and female lion amongst other things and we appreciated learning a lot about them throughout the day. Fortune also brought us to a great lunch spot and we were very happy!

We did the 4 day package Kruger safari & panorama tour. The beginning of our journey through South Africa couldn‘t be better. Had amazing days in Kruger park and we‘ve seen all of the BiG 5. Our guide Nhlamulo did a really great job, thank you so much for this experience. Also the panorama route offered amazing views. The organisation at all was excellent, we didn’t have to worry about anything. Highly recommend it!

Our tour guide, Levi was amazing! He was great at spotting the animals, and knew where to go find the big 5! He did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Levi!

Amos Tibne was amazing!!! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to get along with, always happy to answer any questions we had, and clearly cared about giving us the best experience possible. 10/10 would recommend.

Amos Tibne was the BEST driver and tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable on the park, the animals within and where they may potentially be. He was extremely flexible and let us stop as many times as we wanted. Could not recommend Amos more!

We (family of 4, 2A/2C 15 & 12) have just finished the 3-day “Best of Kruger” safari with Kurt safari and our guide Didi. Fantastic 3 days and delivered as the packet stated… it certainly was the Best of Kruger! Didi was an awesome guide and made sure we covered the park including seeing the top 5, the ugly 5 as well as everything in between!! Thanks so much to Didi.
