Overall a great experience from the pick up at joburg airport by Wade , though a long drive, would advise flying to Nelspruit if you have the option, as much closer to Kruger. Wade was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The camps were basic but clean with well stocked shops , all you really need as you don’t sleep much, because of the early/late safaris. We saw the big 5 within 1.5 hrs on the first evening safari then saw the big five another two times . Wade and the assigned safari guides know exactly where to take you to see the ever moving beautiful animals you hope to see but are never guaranteed. We will go back again to North Kruger did south this time . South in March is very lush and dense , so we were lucky to see big 5 three times. Only thing we didn’t see which hopefully we will see in the winter in the north is cheetahs. Would highly recommend the company. Thanks Wade and the team.

My girlfriend and I did this safari and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it surpassed our expectations. As we had our guide personal guide, he could tailor our experience to our needs as he had an in-depth knowledge of Kruger Park. We saw the Big 5 and many more animals. The door-to-door service for the collection and drop off was fantastic, as other providers just put you on a coach. I would highly recommend this.

Thankyou to Rhys and team for a grand day out from Richards Bay. My husband and I headed off with our private guide, Bongi, to explore Cape Vidal, St Lucia and the many hippos on a river cruise. As promised, we came back this year for our 3rd adventure with Endless Summer. We will continue to travel again and again with the best that South Africa offers. This time around we took my 71 year old father, and Rhys was able to build a custom itinerary that blew us all away. We began in the Berg with Steve as our guide. Our favorite adventurer, up for anything, master chef, and knows what we’d love even before we do. For the middle of our trip, we had Tommy. A true South African guide through and through. The way he took so much pride in his work was amazing and we learned a TON! His connections and friendships with the locals in the area made for even an even better experience. For the last week on Safari we had the legend himself. Rhys is always the best to Safari with as he grew up going to the park and knows all the best trails! Our accommodations were always on point. We had a wonderful time on our safari trip with Endless Summer Tours. Rhys grew up in the area and has been going to the parks since he was a child, so he is well acquainted with all the details necessary to plan the perfect safari trip. His communication was excellent while planning our trip and we emailed back-and-forth many times customizing an itinerary just for us. When we arrived at the airport, he picked us up and took care of all the details after that. We drove the Panorama Route and spent a day at the Blyde River Canyon (in a lodge cabin) and spent 4 days at Kruger (in 2 different comfortable, but not fancy bush camps) on full day safaris. We then spent 2 days in the Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park on full day safaris, and went to the St. Lucia Estuary for a wildlife boat ride. We saw so many animals, including the Big 5! Afterward, he dropped us off at the airport. He kept us on schedule the entire time. A problem did arise that our boat trip was canceled because there were not enough people booked, so he quickly got on the phone and arranged new boat trip with another company. The private safari drivers he hired were very informative and explained different facts about the many animals that we saw. He cooked regionally inspired meals, including South African braai (barbecue) over an open fire and everything was delicious. Rhys met us midday on our private game drive days and cooked us our lunch/brunch. It was truly the trip of a lifetime! We would highly recommend Endless Summer Tours.

My 14 day excursion to South Africa with Endless Summer Tours was totally Epic. This was my first safari accompanied by my daughter and son in-law who have been with Rhys on two prior trips. Rhys, knowing I was joining this trip, totally customized our 14 day safari to include as many locations and camp sites as possible starting from Sani Pass up to Northern Kruger. His tour guides, Steve and Tommy, who we had for the first week were exceptional. Both were knowledgeable about the history, terrain and culture of the land. Our second week was guided by Rhys who allowed us to deviate from our original plan if needed or if there was a better site to be at that .The meals, accommodations and transportation they provided us were first class. The Tour was actually a year ago (October 2023). I thought my review was sent but somehow it did not show up, so I am writing it again to make sure is here now. We were 4 in the tour (all adults). Flew from Atlanta to Johannesburg. Stay there one night and the next morning Rhys picked us up and we drove to Kruger Park. Rhys is such a friendly and professional individual . The drive from Johan. To the park was great because Rhys as telling us history about South Africa and all about what we were going to be doing for 4 days, expectations, animals. Etc. Love the fact that we did not have to worry abou anything at all during those 4 days. The “cabins” that we stayed every night were great! Beds were comfortable. We had tours to see the animals with the park and we also had our own private tours with him few times a day (day, afternoon, evening - so you could see different animals). Love the fact that in the morning (you have to leave to see the animals before the sun comes out so you can see them waking up- an experience that you will never forget!). The professional driver/tour person will pick you up and drive . Then after few hours , they will stop in places in the park and there was Rhys cooking fresh breakfast for us ! It was so much fun. They also cooked dinner few times in the BBQ outside , set up the table in the cabins, with salads, wine, etc… it was fun, it was quiet , it was relaxing! We stayed in different locations and cabins within the park during the tour so we could see different types of animals. They were always on time. What i love the most is the fact that with this private tour, you are in control of time and don’t need to worry about anything. They take care of entrance fees, tour time, etc. Had an amazing time , drove us back to Johanna and we left back to US the next morning. We spent few days in Cape Town before we took this amazing tour. Having a private tour with just your own family/friends makes a huge difference! No worries, spend as much time as you want to watching the animals , taking pictures. The professionalism of Rhys and his crew was amazing . Thank you for such a once in a lifetime experience. Note: once you are planning the tour with them, you do want to go over what are your preferences when it comes to food, (breakfast/lunch/dinner) so they can be prepare like they were prepare for us.

We are really happy with the company, from the begining they answered all our doubts quickly giving all the information that we needed. The safari planning was perfect. The safari has been amazing, Tommy is an incredible guide, he has a lot of knowledges about the country, the animals, the park… He tried to make it possible for us to see as many animals as possible, including the Big five, and he got it thanks to his effort. The camp sites were very good, the food quality… In summary everything was wonderful. If we have the opportunity to come back to South Africa, you'll be the first option

We went on the 9 day/8 night Kruger Safari because we wanted to experience the full Kruger National Park. Our guide, Wade picked us up promptly at our hotel in Johannesburg. We stayed in North Kruger at North Kruger, Central Kruger, South and Deep South Kruger. Our guide was great! Taking on Safari drives and pointing out so many species of wildlife, including all of "The Big Five". He also served us excellent meals, which he prepared daily in our outdoor kitchens at each of the Rest Camps where we stayed. Wade was personable and made sure we got the most out of our Safari experience! I would definitely recommend Wade and Endless Summer Tours.

My husband and I wanted to do a round trip from Johannesburg to the Drakensberg, Durban, St Lucia, Umfolozi, Hlane (in eSwatini) and Kruger Park. I sent my proposed itinerary to Rhys, and he organised a 13-day tour doing exactly what we wanted. He communicated promptly and answered all my queries. Mike was our guide in the Drakensberg. He was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive - and made sure we didn't go hungry! Wade took over in Durban and was our guide for the rest of the tour. He was also friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the different game reserves and the wildlife, an excellent driver and a great cook. We had a wonderful trip - saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed staying in the various camps. Endless Summers Five Day Kruger Highlights Tour We were a group of eight from New Zealand in our 60’s/70’s. From the moment we were met at Johannesburg airport through to the completion of our five day safari trip Wade and Justin took care of everything. From providing an always informative commentary while we travelled, to outstanding meals – mostly cooked on the braai – to a knowledge of and respect for the amazing wildlife we encountered, nothing was ever a problem for these guys. All served up with a genuine care for their clients and a great sense of humour! Our guide on two of our safaris – Lucky – was also amazing and gave our group unforgettable wildlife viewing experiences. The communication with and bookings through Rhys at Endless Summers was professional and always accommodating of our ideas and plans. We had a terrific safari. Our guide was excellent and we saw many, many animals. He was especially willing to take us out at different times and seemed to be able to find animals everywhere. All food, accommodation and transportation was provided. Our guide was a decent cook and we enjoyed the meals. The accommodations were not fancy but very comfortable and clean with modern bathrooms and showers. At the end of our safari, our guide took us to the airport to fly to Victoria Falls. We then spent 3 days at Victoria Falls, which was also booked by Endless Summer. I would highly recommend this company. Very good value for the money.

I booked my 2-day Drakensberg hiking tour with Rhys, who connected us to our amazing guide, Mike. Here are three reasons why I recommend Rhys and Mike: 1. Although the company only formally offers 3-day Drakensberg hike tours on their website, Rhys was willing to work with me to customize a 2-day tour based on my preferences and constraints. 2. Mike was an exceptional hiking tour guide. He was knowledgeable and entertaining and customized our second-day hike based on our hiking experience and interests. He picked us up extra early so we could fit two big hikes into our itinerary. 3. The tour said that "dinner was included," but didn't mention that we would be getting a lovely braai from Mike against the backdrop of the Amphitheater. We expected an epic hike (which we did get), but didn't expect such an awesome dinner as well.

From our first contact with Endless Summer to the drop off at the airport at the end of our four night stay in Kruger everything, I mean absolutely everything was perfect! Rhys answered my many questions immediately and guided us through the booking process with ease, even when I had difficulty with my bank making payment. He patiently arranged payment through my credit card account. We were so fortunate to be promptly greeted at our Johannesburg hotel by Wade. What a stellar experience Wade provided us over the next five days! The drive to Kruger was very picturesque with the many changes in terrain. Wade has an unbelievable knowledge of everything his country has to offer. Once we entered the park we were immediately immersed in a variety of animals and birds that Wade gave us an overview of each animal and bird that we encountered throughout our trip. Wade arranged all our sunrise and sunset jeep trips with the local guides and cooked all of our meals! Which were all delicious! What more could you ask for?!? When we were not doing the jeep tours we spent the rest of our days driving in our personal van with Wade as he shared his vast knowledge of the animals and birds. We used Endless Summer Tours in February and went to the Tala Game Reserve. We had the best time. Rhys was a great guide. He made sure we had great views of all the animals and he made the time searching for animals. This was a wonderful tour. I would highly recommend this company.
