My husband and I wanted to do a round trip from Johannesburg to the Drakensberg, Durban, St Lucia, Umfolozi, Hlane (in eSwatini) and Kruger Park. I sent my proposed itinerary to Rhys, and he organised a 13-day tour doing exactly what we wanted. He communicated promptly and answered all my queries. Mike was our guide in the Drakensberg. He was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive - and made sure we didn't go hungry! Wade took over in Durban and was our guide for the rest of the tour. He was also friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the different game reserves and the wildlife, an excellent driver and a great cook. We had a wonderful trip - saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed staying in the various camps. Endless Summers Five Day Kruger Highlights Tour We were a group of eight from New Zealand in our 60’s/70’s. From the moment we were met at Johannesburg airport through to the completion of our five day safari trip Wade and Justin took care of everything. From providing an always informative commentary while we travelled, to outstanding meals – mostly cooked on the braai – to a knowledge of and respect for the amazing wildlife we encountered, nothing was ever a problem for these guys. All served up with a genuine care for their clients and a great sense of humour! Our guide on two of our safaris – Lucky – was also amazing and gave our group unforgettable wildlife viewing experiences. We had a terrific safari. Our guide was excellent and we saw many, many animals. He was especially willing to take us out at different times and seemed to be able to find animals everywhere. All food, accommodation and transportation was provided. Our guide was a decent cook and we enjoyed the meals. The accommodations were not fancy but very comfortable and clean with modern bathrooms and showers. At the end of our safari, our guide took us to the airport to fly to Victoria Falls. We then spent 3 days at Victoria Falls, which was also booked by Endless Summer. I would highly recommend this company. Very good value for the money.

I booked my 2-day Drakensberg hiking tour with Rhys, who connected us to our amazing guide, Mike. Here are three reasons why I recommend Rhys and Mike: 1. Although the company only formally offers 3-day Drakensberg hike tours on their website, Rhys was willing to work with me to customize a 2-day tour based on my preferences and constraints. 2. Mike was an exceptional hiking tour guide. He was knowledgeable and entertaining and customized our second-day hike based on our hiking experience and interests. He picked us up extra early so we could fit two big hikes into our itinerary. 3. The tour said that "dinner was included," but didn't mention that we would be getting a lovely braai from Mike against the backdrop of the Amphitheater. We expected an epic hike (which we did get), but didn't expect such an awesome dinner as well.

If you are looking for a company to arrange an African Safari look no further! From our first contact with Endless Summer to the drop off at the airport at the end of our four night stay in Kruger everything, I mean absolutely everything was perfect! Rhys answered my many questions immediately and guided us through the booking process with ease, even when I had difficulty with my bank making payment. He patiently arranged payment through my credit card account. We were so fortunate to be promptly greeted at our Johannesburg hotel by Wade. What a stellar experience Wade provided us over the next five days! The drive to Kruger was very picturesque with the many changes in terrain. Wade has an unbelievable knowledge of everything his country has to offer. Once we entered the park we were immediately immersed in a variety of animals and birds that Wade gave us an overview of each animal and bird that we encountered throughout our trip. Wade arranged all our sunrise and sunset jeep trips with the local guides and cooked all of our meals! Which were all delicious! What more could you ask for?!? When we were not doing the jeep tours we spent the rest of our days driving in our personal van with Wade as he shared his vast knowledge of the animals and birds. Thank you Endless Summer for arranging such a perfect Safari! We cannot thank Wade enough for providing us with our trip of our lifetime. We used Endless Summer Tours in February and went to the Tala Game Reserve. We had the best time. Rhys was a great guide. He made sure we had great views of all the animals and he made the time searching for animals. This was a wonderful tour. I would highly recommend this company.

This was an absolute 5 star experience! I would recommend a tour with Rhys and Wade to strangers and friends alike. The trip to South Africa was a bit outside our comfort zone and Rhys’ responsiveness, knowledge, and help during the booking and planning process made this big trip feel more approachable. Rhys and Wade’s flexibility and focus on our small group’s wants and priorities was a huge benefit of this trip as opposed to being on a a larger, more structured group tour. From the commutes between JBurg and Kruger, to the homemade meals, expert animal sightings, unmatched Kruger knowledge, and little things like providing a surprise birthday treat for my fiancé and hearing our favorite veggies in discussion and serving them for dinner the next night, we felt safe and well cared for! We will 100% be back for another safari one day and Rhys and Wade will be our first call!

This trip was an amazing travel experience. Kruger park is very incredible in terms of the wildlife. We saw every day something new. Sukukuza is a convenient camp with shops and lots of people. Malelane is a camp where we can feel the quiet nature with no shops and few people. Also, the accommodations at Malelane Satellite Camp were clean and very comfortable. We also saw shooting stars at night. We stayed 2 nights in Sukukuza and 1 night in Malelane and were able to complete the Big 5. Thank you to game drivers Mornay and Opa. We would like to thank Wade from Endless Summer Tours for all of the arrangements for Johannesburg, including preparing the meals and providing airport transfers. Safaris are generally safe, and we should have some coins to use the restrooms at gas stations along the way to Johannesburg. Game drives in open vehicles early in the morning or during rain can be quite cold, so warm clothing is recommended. In the end, Rhys' competent planning, reservations and Wade's caring guide made for a good trip that will be remembered for a lifetime. We are very much obliged to you. This trip was my all-time favorite travel experience. Kruger park is incredible and every day was something new in terms of the wildlife we saw. The lodging was great and was very comfortable but still felt like you were out in nature. What really made the trip amazing was our guide, Wade. Wade was an absolute professional and really friendly. He took care of every detail so we could just enjoy the experience and not have to worry about planning. The meals he cooked were incredible and every night was something different. You could tell he had such a deep appreciation for the animals and he was able to answer all our questions. Lastly, his knowledge really helped us to have an amazing last day where we tracked cheetahs for hours while they were out hunting. He knew all the roads and could predict where they were headed to ensure that we didn't lose sight of them. We never would have been able to have that experience on a self drive tour. If you are ever looking to head to Kruger park I would highly recommend these tours and requesting Wade as a guide!

We (4 of us) had an excellent tour of Tala Game Reserve and Phezulu in Valley of 1000 Hills when our cruise ship came into port in Durban. Our guide, Sibongile, did a great job of driving and narrating so that we were able to see both areas during our limited time in port. She was very knowledgeable about the animals that we encountered in Tala. It was a much better alternative to be in a small group rather than on a ship’s tour.

We had a fantastic time on tour with Endless Summer. It was better than expected. Our guide Wade, was very good inside the park to share is knowledge but also as cooker and driver. Thanks to him, our trip will stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend Endlesse Summer if you want to have a personal tour inside the park and someone who know the bush very well.
