        Great and interesting trip
Booked this trip on short notice and without special expectations. The Bollinger was East without any problems. The company quickly established direct contact and shared info about guide and pick-up time. The guide Freddy showed up in time and gave me a very nice day to remember. Very informative and was really trying to give me a good experience in the parks while looking for the great animals of South Africa. Apart from alot of interesting info about the animals and fauna, Freddy was very open and shared insight in South African life and culture of the Zulu people. To summarize, a very nice day where all the expected animals were seen closely and with great learning about life and culture in South Africa.

Amazing Tour with Stunning Views and Excellent Guidance
We had a fantastic time on this tour. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and the sites we visited were both historically rich and incredibly picturesque. Our guide was excellent—he helped us choose the perfect route to maximize our time and experience. His knowledge and flexibility made the entire day enjoyable and seamless. By the end of the tour, we felt enriched and very happy with our decision. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable day out from Durban!

Do this tour on your first day in Durban!
We had a lovely day with Fortune. He was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and took us to an important site that wasn’t on the regular tour. He was friendly, comfortable to be with and left us with a very good impression of Durban and all it has to offer. Highly recommend you book a tour and enjoy the sights and this outstanding young man, Fortune!

        "HIDDEN GEM OF KZN"
**Review of Lake Eland** I had an excellent experience at Lake Eland from start to finish. The exceptional service provided by the staff truly stood out, particularly the attendants who assisted me with the zipline. Even though I was initially scared of heights, they made me feel comfortable and confident, guiding me through each step and helping me to overcome my fear. The stunning views alone make this beautiful place worth visiting, but the adventure sports elevate the experience even further. If you're looking for an exciting adventure in KwaZulu-Natal, I would highly recommend Lake Eland. It’s a must-visit destination that combines breathtaking scenery with thrilling activities!

        Knowledgeable Experience
We had a very enjoyable day. Our guide Thami was very knowledgeable and he was happy to answer any questions we had, not just regarding the tour itself but about south Africa in general! We did not feel rushed at any of the sites. We booked the evening before and we were looked after very well, I popped the phone number on the booking confirmation a message and they confirmed we would be picked up the next morning from our hotel. Thami's driving was exceptional, we got stuck in traffic for a crash and he took a very interesting detour, which only added to the experience!

An Incredibly Scenic Tour on Sani Pass from Durban
This tour is truly amazing, prepared to get WOWed by the beautiful and stunning scenery all along the way, from Underberg, up to Lesotho. It’s also a must-do activity in South Africa. And I will let my photos speak for itself for the beautiful scenery in this tour. Also, it is very convenient to start and end the tour in Durban, as I can easily find a flight with time suitable for me and have other activities before and after the tour in Durban as well. A special shoutout to the guide of the tour, Thami, for bringing me all the way to and from Duran and Lesotho. I have learned more about Lesotho as well as South Africa from him. He also got a very nice music playlists that matched this road trip in the countryside. I have enjoyed the tour very much!

An extra touch of amazing to this country
Zulu Safaris organized our transfers to the Drakensberg for our 5-day trek. Sotiri, the owner, was a wonderful guide and we highly enjoyed meeting him. He kindly picked me up from the airport and showed me around Durban even if this wasn't part of the tour - he keenly shared information about his country that he obviously loves and knows like the back of his hand. His passion for organizing and designing trips around SA was obvious from the moment I met him. The 5h trip to Witsieshoek was filled with interesting conversations, great playlists, many funny anecdotes, and good laughs. Sotiri stayed with us overnight in Witsieshoek and kindly helped up settle some minor issues before we departed for our hike - he made sure we were safely on our way and followed our progress during our hike. He was the one picking us up at the end point of our journey to drive us back to Durban, and we loved the trip just as much as the first. His team was highly professional and efficient in organizing our trip and Zulu Safaris felt more like a family than just a tour operator. I can only recommend warmly contacting Zulu Safaris for your next South African adventure for an extra touch of amazing to this country.

        So much fun!!
We had a really fun day with Zulu Safaris! Both my husband and I have been to the large game parks elsewhere in Africa, and almost decided to give this tour a miss because we didn't think it would compare with the large parks. However, we had an absolute ball! Aaron our guide picked us up from our hotel, right on time, lovely and friendly. First stop the Lion Park, yes it's small but you still get African lions right out your window! I hadn't realised the tour included hand feeding apples to a massive African elephant, so that was an entertaining surprise after viewing the lions. My husband and I climbed on the roof of the safari vehicle and Aaron took great pictures of our encounter with the elephant. Then we drove to Tala Game Reserve, which was bigger than I expected. We were determined to find giraffes, and after about an hour of driving around we came across about 8 of them, including two babies, wandering across the track and hanging out in the bush. Really magical. Again Aaron made sure we got good photos and had the best view. Absolutely no complaints from us, so glad we decided to go ahead with this tour on our last day in South Africa. Our only regret is not taking cash to be able to tip Aaron - being our last day we had run out of rand. Thanks so much Zulu Safaris!

If You are Staying in Durban, Do This!
Incredible experience! I booked it on a whim while staying in Durban looking for things to do and I do not regret it one bit. Pick up from the hotel was smooth and had a nice drive north with a man named Masolo (sp?) to the meeting point before heading out in the 4x4. My guide Grant was very friendly and gave a lot of extra details of the land from his personal experience growing up in the region. He handled all of the passports and documents to ensure an easy entry and exit from Lesotho. The drive up the pass was exciting, you really feel every twist and turn and it is simply amazing that humans were able to do it before the creation of the roads and 4x4 vehicles. The views from Sanni Pass were beautiful, and visiting the highest pub in Africa was a nice bonus! We drove all the way up the road despite the snow and ice. Had a great time in the village learning a little bit about the Basotho people's culture and getting a small taste of how they live.

        Trekking in the Drakensberg
We organised a trek in the Drakensberg mountains with Zulu safari. They agreed to give us a personalised service by driving us to the starting point and picking up a few days later at the end of the trek. They were super flexible, helped us to find the supplies we needed and arranged a last minute accommodation for us as ours wasn’t in a safe spot in Durban. Communication though e-mails and WhatsApp was very easy. We are 100% satisfied and warmly recommend booking trips with them. Plus the manager is sooooo friendly, has thousands of stories to tell and advises to give!

        Unforgettable and incredible experience
An incredible and once in a lifetime experience! My friend and I had Bafana as our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to find our favourite animals the Giraffes. Metres away from animals I use to dream about seeing so close. Cannot recommend this tour enough you have to do this if you visit Durban!
