About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- gelloh20200 contributionsServiceMax went above and beyond to make sure we were able to reschedule our safari at no extra cost due to the corona virus. This is not a review of the safari but of Max and his commitment to making our journey possible in 2021. He's a champ!Written July 30, 2020
- Dancer29570 contributionsCan't recommend SafariSource highly enough! This holiday was to celebrate a special birthday and Jessika devised a brilliant itinerary for us. Our 15 days in Tanzania and Kenya included the Tarangire national park, the Ngorongoro crater, the Serengeti and a hot air balloon ride. It was a magical experience and we could not believe how close we were to a huge range of wild animals and birds. Our drivers and guides were incredibly skilled and some of the accommodation was breathtaking (reviewed separately). SafariSouce is not only great value for money (we had quotes from a couple of UK-based companies which were much more expensive) but, importantly, more of the money stays in Tanzania and Kenya. We recommend having a few days on the beach at the end of the safari - which we did - because the safari is as tiring as it is enjoyable!Written February 25, 2020
- Nataliatraveler10 contributionsWe will come back soon, safarisource! Our travel' co-ordinator Jessika could not have been more attentive to detail. I can't thank Safari source enough. Every transfer went seamlessly helping to make our holiday one of the best we have ever experienced. From trip arrangements to the accommodation she selected, everything was perfect. Camp in Masaai Mara, Kenya was comfortable, staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the safari guide/driver for his excellent knowledge about the country and wildlife. We could not have been happier with the service we got. On the way back home, my friend told me that he would stay much longer and probably visit Victoria Falls. I guess we will come back!Written January 21, 2020
- samwlodyka0 contributionsGreat organizationI was doing the trip to Kenya (Masai Mara) and Tanzania (Seringeti, Ngorongoro crater) with them. Very well-organized itinerary with detailed information provided, knowledgeable safari guides / drivers who cared about me and my wife all the time (it was 7 days trip), delicious meals during game driving and in our lodges as well. Thanks loads.Written January 8, 2020
- xeniaburla0 contributionsWow !!I and my friends had a great experience traveling to South Africa. The company’s provider picked us up from the airport and took it to our hotel in Camps Bay. Beautiful region by the way (if you are looking for accommodation right now, highly recommend to search there). The 5 days incredible trip around Cape Town and surroundings. Our guide took us to Penguin beach, Good of Hope, the guide showed us viewpoints and hiked with us to Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. We had a great time and the staff did everything to make sure we got to see and explore as much as possible. Before we have moderated our itinerary with Jessika from SafariSource. Easy communication to plan the trip and great knowledge of the area.Written October 25, 2019
- Getaway4230310 contributionsAmazing experienceAs a part of the group we visited Kruger National Park for a 3 days safari. Communication with safarisource was excellent and all details were clear. Our guide (unfortunately dont remember his name) who showed us also amazing view points in the park. He made our first visit to Kruger a memorable one. We even managed to see wild dog. It is extremely rare to see there thats why we felt lucky! If you want to go on a great safari, I highly recommend Safarisource.Written October 15, 2019
- KARINMOLLY1-0 contributionsSouth AfricaWonderful trip to Cape Town, surroundings and Garden Route. - Екатерина К0 contributionsSafari in KenyaI have created tripadvisor account special for leaving this review. After extensive research, I chose to book a safari in Kenya through the Safarisource platform. The itinerary was well-organized and I haven’t had any trouble during the trip. My guide made me feel safe, he taught me incredible facts about his country, flora, and fauna. Best online marketplace for booking african vacation I have ever worked with. I emailed them with many questions, they responded right away and drew up an itinerary for us with prices. Everyone I corresponded with from Jess to Max was wonderful and got back to me instantly.Written October 8, 2019
- Katarina L0 contributionsAmazing experience with Safari SourceWe read about Safari Source in the South China Morning Post and we decided this is how we want to travel. We found a package we liked and asked to make a few changes. Promptly we spoke with Jessika by WhatsApp. She is the owner of the company. Juma (our kenyan guide) and lodge staff were so accommodating and friendly, things just worked out smoothly. We toured Tsavo East and West, Amboseli and Shimba Hills and we saw 4 of the Big 5. Next time we plan to do Masai Mara and a place Jessika recommended called Lamu Island.Written October 8, 2019
- Happiness2632300 contributionsAmazing tripHmm where to start…first of all, it is definitely a 5-star company! I and my partner traveled to South Africa and Mozambique from the USA. The tour called “Bush To Beach Kruger And Mozambique”. It was an incredible time together. We couldn't even expect more than this company to give us. 3 days safari in Kruger Park (South Africa) and then 3 days beach vacation in Mozambique. We have been accommodated in a luxurious beach lodge (full board). Food was of a continually very high standard. The hotel made a surprise for us and, of course, we didn't expect it at all. It was a romantic dinner at the sunset time with delicious seafood. All transfers and internal flights were also arranged. We had an interesting and enjoyable time and look forward to hopefully returning one day. And Katerina (our manager) from safarisource is the only person we will be putting our trust in to organize our itinerary!Written October 4, 2019
- Елена В0 contributionsIncredible vacationInitially, we arrived in Cape Town and, on the advice of my friends, turned to search for tours on the safarisource platform. We ordered a tour including visiting vineyards, a sightseeing tour of the city and its environs. Our guide was a wonderful Jessica. She showed and told us so many interesting places and information that after the tour I even took notes to not forget and share with friends. Then we decided, why not go to Lesotho (this is a tiny country located directly on the territory of South Africa). Jessica interested us in an impressive and vivid story about the beauties of this country. As a result, we bought from them another tour for the whole 8 days called “Guided Drakensberg, Lesotho and Addo tour”. I liked everything very much. I am sure that we will come back here to do a safari next time. Thanks to Jessica, a local tour operator from Lesotho and my cool company for an incredible vacation!Written October 2, 2019
- Sb0mbazz0 contributionsGREAT TRIP!!I booked the “7 Day Kenya Safari Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru/Lake Naivasha/Amboseli” package last month as a solo-traveler. Usually, tour operators give me a hard time when I am traveling alone, especially regarding the rates and the type of tour (e.g. super unauthentic touristic group tour). Safarisource did not turn me down or tried to sell an impersonal tour at all. I was in a small group, a great company, visited authentic Maasai tribes and stayed at decent accommodations at a good price. Also, I really bonded with my guide Loserian who showed me his home village and invited me over for dinner with his family!! Really cool experience. Thank you guys and keep the good work!Written September 30, 2019
- Olga K0 contributionsCollecting beautiful momentsSouth Africa is a well-developed country with excellent infrastructure to do safari trips. All the services which we have been facing here were impressive. Great variety of accommodation and delicious meals. My husband and I have been in the private reserves in the Kruger National park and Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The last one is probably the best place in all of Africa to see leopards. I am sure that South Africa is a wonderful destination for doing the first safari experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable. It is totally awesome to see wild animals in their environment! We’ve also booked a trip around stunning Cape Town. Hiked Lion’s Head, visited popular penguins beach, whales watching, Cape of Good Hope, Garden route. So, you can easily combine very different holiday experiences in South Africa. Thanks to our manager Katerina from Safarisource company. She helped us a lot in the first stage when we were confused about where to start booking our trip. Well, next time we know where to start. Just call to Katerina, she knows better:))Written September 27, 2019
- P6649Zvalentina0 contributionsMemorable 4-day Kenyan SafariI was in a private safari group of five, booked through safarisource.com. The team were very flexible about the program and always stayed in permanent contact (we have communicated mostly via what's app). We stayed close to Mara River and were surrounded by wildlife such as buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, different types of antelopes, etc... Since it was migration time we saw almost all African animals. Thanks to our guide Rashid. He was speaking excellent English and also very attentive. You have to be prepared for a very long drive. But anyway we have had the most fantastic African experience ever.Written September 27, 2019
- Gleb O0 contributionsAmazing experience!I can’t recommend enough SafariSource for their work. I and my friend have booked trip calls “2 weeks across South Africa”. A two-week tour through South Africa covering all main attractions. Jessica was our tour leader. She was very knowledgeable about the culture of South Africa which was greatly appreciated. The trip was planned in a flawless manner which is impressive to behold when you travel to these far-flung destinations and the specifics that we set up. And I would definitely use Safari source for planning our African journey to Kenya next year. Thx a lot. It was the trip of a lifetime!Written September 24, 2019
