Wonderful Pilanesberg Safari with MoAfrika Tours
Me qnd my wife had an amazing time in Pilanesberg Safari with MoAfrika Tours! The day was very well organized from start to finish. Sunny who picked us was very cheerful, helpful and he gave us a comfortable drive to Pilanesberg. We saw three of the Big Five and were in awe of the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. The guide’s knowledge with the animals made the experience even more special. Lunch was great, and the whole day felt amazing. Highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting a nice safari experience!

A truly excellent and educational day
My dad and I took the full day tour with Tshepo and it was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories about the history and culture of the area. I felt like we learned so much. I think the most memorable experience was visiting one of the informal housing areas, where we took a 20-minute tour with Byron who lives in the community. He shared about his experiences growing up there and even took us to visit the children in the day care, and we purchased some very nice souvenirs from the local artists which also helps support the day care. Although we couldn’t visit the Apartheid Museum (because it was not open the day we could do the tour), I highly recommend visiting the Nelson Mandela House as an alternative. We also had a wonderful lunch in Soweto. Thank you for the great experience and I hope that this review encourages others to take this tour as well. Next time I am in South Africa, I would definitely use this company to visit the Cradle of Humankind and Cultural Village.

Good tour on the parks but disorganised when it comes to scheduling timings
When booking Mo Afrika they contact you through WhatsApp and are very responsive and helpful. The pre booking is excellent service and can not fault it. The buses and safari pick up's are similar to that of others, you will have about 9 to 10 people in a vehicle. The drivers are friendly but at times don't always feel like they are engaged in the trip. However the really downside is the organisation and timings, which is an absolute shambles. The Hotel pick was scheduled for 07:00am and they turned up at 6:30am but left at 6:55am to pick others up and returned at 7:20am. The main office is constantly messaging you and calling you which becomes stressful. The stop off breaks from Joberg to the hotel are often rushed and the venues are not adequate for food. The the first Safari was scheduled at 15:00pm but we didn’t leave until 15:20pm The second safari we checked the timings with the driver from day one and the hotel (twice), it was even written in the hotel book with regards to pick up times. We were told to meet at 5:30am for a 5:40am - 05:50am departure. However, the room was getting called at 5:00am stating we were late and the hotel staff and driver can be very abrupt, When explained we were told different timings there were no apology from the driver! You also often have to change vehicles and this can lead to 15mins for change over cars and often mix people up on buses, so can create a lot of confusion. When we stopped off for lunch, we were meant to leave at 13:30pm but left at 14:10pm as the driver wanted to chat up girls in the restaurante. The tour is good when it gets going, you get to see all the animals, they stop at great locations in the park and the bus is comfortable. However, it is very stressful with timings, if they can get better organised and show a bit more professionalism then it would be a great experience but unfortunately this is a real let down.

          Haunting yet enlightening experience.
          - The museum's curated displays masterfully wove together the complex narrative of apartheid, leaving us with a deeper understanding of South Africa's tumultuous past. Sharing this experience with friends allowed us to collectively process the emotions and reflect on the ongoing journey towards healing and reconciliation. A visit to the Apartheid Museum is an absolute must for anyone seeking to grasp the complexities of South Africa's history.

Truly immersive experience that left a lasting impression on our group of friends
-We delved into the township's complex history, vibrant culture, and resilient community. We explored iconic sites like Vilakazi Street, Mandela House, and the Hector Pieterson Museum, gaining valuable insights into the struggles and triumphs of Soweto's people. The tour's personalized touch allowed us to engage meaningfully with locals, savour traditional treats, and soak up the dynamic atmosphere.

As a last minute booking excellent all round. Also as a “mature” single traveller appreciated the constant communication and being able to contact the office and drivers as needed. From office staff to the drivers (Arnold and Adolph) service was 100% but also informative and friendly. Thank you for a great experience.
