This place is amazing. I booked through Viator and had a driver pick me up in Joburg and dine me 1 1/2 hours there. He waited for me and brought me back. Dint forget to tip them 10% That's a long drive. Go early enough su you can feed the monkeys. On a weekday start the elephants at 10 and you'll be able to feed the monkeys!!! They are trashed very well here. Loved every second and worth every penny!

Pilanesberg & Black Rhino Game reserves are a hidden gem with easy driving distance from both Pretoria & Johannesburg. Covering about 57 000 hectares, Pilanesberg is considerably larger than Black Rhino at 2 000 hectares.

We had 2 awesome days in South Africa where Jason was our tour guide for excursions to the Elephant Sanctuary, the Lion Park and Pilanesberg Safari. Jason is very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and was very pleasant, courteous and polite. We would certainly call upon him for our next visit and highly recommend him to our family and friends. Wonderful experience!!

I Had a great day on the Cradle of Humankind and the Lion safari park, Jason was a great guide with a 2 hour safari drive on which we saw so many animals and then off to the Cradle of Humankind which is a very interesting place and very well thought out, I would recommend this tour, nothing was rushed and Jason gives you loads of information

Jason from Deeprift Ventour picked us up on time at 5.30 am from our hotel. He made us feel very comfortable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to give us a lot of information on site during the drive to and from Pilanesberg National park. A great companion for the day. The excursion was everything we hoped for and a lot more. My wife and I had an amazing time from start to finish. We managed to see 3 of the big five. Our guide Thabo was super experience, funny and friendly, with a lot of knowledge about the animals and the savannah. Would 100% use again and definitely recommend!

We got a shuttle from OR Tambo to Sun City and then a return to Lanseria. Jason was absolutely fabulous, he waited for us at the airport. He was very prompt and it was a great journey. Would 100% use again and would recommend

We had a great day with Jason as our guide. Unfortunately the caves have been closed since 2022 but the museum is very informative. Great 2 hour safari at the Lion Park. Jason was able to give us a lot of additional information on sites we saw during the drive to & from the included tours. Would definitely recommend.

Very fun. Worth it. With the full price one you get a whole day's worth of memories to the elephants, monkeys playing with you and then a 2 hour safari at lion safari park. Well worth it.

Jason was our driver from the hotel. Excellent experience with him to/fro, especially with explanations! If you are a slightly nervous tourist but you want to have a safari experience while visiting Joberg - look no further! My husband and I had the best experience traveling from the Sandton area to Pilanesberg. We chose the closed car option because we were nervous about mishaps with the animals and mosquitos, and it ended up being the right choice for us. Jason was the nicest, most patient, and accommodating guide that you could ever ask for. He was knowledgeable and very respectful of the animals and the history of the city. The car was in excellent condition, he turned on the AC when we requested it, and he pointed out places of interest and shared fun facts every step of the way. The Pilanesberg park is gorgeous and has tons of variety. We saw: Hippo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Elephants, Fish eagle, Turtles, Crocodile, giraffe, and white rhino!!! You will regret it if you don’t go!

Jason was a great guide and driver. It was the perfect amount of interaction and casual conversation. The sanctuary was a good time, especially the elephants. We did some research to make sure that the sanctuary was legit. It is! The guides and handlers really seem to care for the elephants. Overall great experience. The moneys were fun, but go for the elephant interaction!
