Our trip down the river was great...company was well organized and ready to go when we got there late but totally accommodating and pleasant. Our guide for the day was Nathanial. He was the best in so many ways. Gave us the rules, pointed out key attractions, told us stories, guided us artfully down the river, and taught us about the ECOTONE....ask him about it. :) Want to do a 2 day trip next year as the area is just beautiful !! Thank you for such a pleasant day!!

Our guide Sammy was great. We were a little late in the season so water levels were on the low side however it was still a thrilling experience and fantastic scenery. Would highly reccomend.

Super fun trip, some fun rapids and Sam was a great guide! He made it a point to do some fun trips to keep the teenagers in our group engaged and entertained.

We had the most awesome rafting experience today. Our rafting guide was Sam and she was very well versed on the area, the customs of the tribes and was able to answer any question asked about the river. Before leaving she made sure everyone understood the safety rules, hand and verbal signals and the method to get on and off the raft safely. We went through some wild rapids and enjoyed every minute. I hope if you go, you get Sam, Toby and Kenny for your crew.

Our guide was Rob and he was very knowledgeable and personable. It was my kids and my first time white water rafting and he was patient and mad the experience so much fun.

Breathtaking in nothing but the best ways, our Guide Jessie was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and obviously loves his job. A very wholesome soul feeding experience all around.

Trip was fun, and Sammy was a great guide! Only suggestion is to not have us print and bring Apache nation waiver, since we do it at arrival. For those who don't have a printer, it was extra steps to print it, and then it wasn't needed. Thanks!

It was an amazing day on the Salt River. Our guide Sam Grey was Fantastic! She knew the river so well and placed us exactly where we needed to be for maximum safety and fun. We've made memories with our family that will last lifetime.

My husband and I went on the 3 day/2 night trip down the Salt River. What a great company, everything and everyone involved was spot on perfect. I highly recommend this company. We plan to go on more trips with them in the future.

While 3 day Upper Salt River rafting trip weekend of April 4-6 was chilly (mid 50's during day, mid 30's at night), our 4 guides (2 for gear rafts, 2 for total of 11 guests) were kind, helpful, informational, respectful and appeared they enjoyed each others company (including competitive height scrambled egg cracking and drink/appetizer table assembly races). Seth, trip leader, encouraged us to respect/reflect on the river and land that supported us for 3 days. Jesse our raft leader kept us engaged by asking questions about ourselves and providing consistent paddle commands - and keeping us all smiling. Matt was our chef including fresh vegetable pasta salads, ham/egg/cheese breakfast sandwiches, broiled Salmon and seasoned asparagus and a fresh baked birthday cake for Seth's 32nd Bday. All seemed to truly enjoy themselves and ensuring we enjoyed our experience, while providing clear and direct instructions and rules. Fortunately, my friend Clyde an I shared a tent large enough for two cots, keeping us above ground/warmer, and with a rain cover - which was necessary first night of camping. When opportunity permits, I'd repeat the experience...hopefully with the same guides.

The six of us on our boat all live in Scottsdale. This was our unique way to celebrate our sons high school graduation with friends- we filled our boat with teens and parents. Our guide, Devon, was terrific, and it felt like a private tour of this beautiful desert canyon. She took us through the class 3 rapids with skill. Although I had expected rapids the entire trip, I was happy that there also were mellow stretches to enjoy the beautiful desert and rocky cliffs. Seeing cacti clinging to bare rock high above us was very cool. We saw a cardinal while eating lunch and watched blue herons fly near the river. We had a hot lunch, fajitas and chips and fruit, crackers and peanut butter and ended with a cookie. Weather was great! If you want to get wet, best seat is the front of the boat, but none of us were spared entirely. Fairly priced too. These guides worked hard all day-- from outfitting us with our wetsuits(thank goodness we had those!) and gear, teaching us the ropes, guiding the trip, making lunch, loading and unloading the boats and paddles and dry bags, and being prepared for mishaps(which did not occur). Great day!

We had a fabulous time with Mild2Wild rafting/hiking the Salt. This trip has been on our “bucket” list for a few years and it did not disappoint. Guides were knowledgeable, experienced and great fun.
