We visited Cairo, Giza and Luxor in February 2025 on a private guided tour organized by Egypt & Beyond Company (based in Cairo). It was wonderful, extremely well organized and enjoyable tour - thanks to company staff and excellent egyptologist guides that have outstanding knowledge about subjects they cover. We learned so much about Egyptian ancient culture. We visited some parts of Cairo, Giza with its Pyramids and New Grand Museum, valleys of kings and queens, temples of Luxor, etc. We were lucky because our guide took us also to Temple Habou and worker' village with its well preserved temples and tombs. During this tour we visited repytable papyrus factory and jewelry store in Cairo, perfume and oil stores in Luxor, and alabaster factory near valley of kings. We had excellent impression about these places. All was done with the assistance of our guides. During our trip we felt very comfortable and safe mostly due to outstanding job by our tour company. The visit of all archeological sites gave us unforgettable experience, and our hosts helped us so much to have wonderful memories. The routine (a/p transfer, hotels, meals, transportation) was excellent as well. I cannot think about any negatives during this trip. Thank you Egypt & Beyond for your incredible job.

We arranged a private, full-day boat trip with Excursies Egypte and were satisfied. For the captain and crew of our boat, I would absolutely give 5 stars, but the tour company itself was not quite at that level. Firstly, we were led to believe that we had an 80-90% chance of actually swimming with dolphins, but the captain told us right off the bat that this was extremely unlikely. The water was a bit rough, but conditions were pretty typical, so I think it is fair to say that swimming with dolphins is a rarity. We did see dolphins, and truthfully we would not have wanted to jump in and attempt to swim with them. There were loads of other boats that were harassing the dolphins, and I'm glad that our captain was more respectful. He also managed to get us some really good, close views of the dolphins, and we definitely saw them better than we would have from in the sea. In addition, we enjoyed some nice snorkeling and some time on Orange Beach. The lunch provided on the boat was absolutely delicious, and the guide was friendly and informative. All in all, I would have appreciated if Excursies had been as honest as the captain, but still I would recommend this tour.

We took a private tour to Luxor from Port Ghalib with Dutch speaking Guide. It was a dream coming true. We had a very good time. The Guide gave us a good description of what we could expect befor we got to Luxor and made us feel welcome. Also the drivers took care of us like family. Traffic can be crazy compared to traffic in Holland. But the driver explained the how and the why’s. We slept on the way over and way back in the private bus. Just us and one other couple. This was as we planned before. Good and fast communication. Great service. The knowledge of the tour guide is impressive. He will anwser all your questions all day long. You even get some free time at every location. You have the option to take a short boat trip on the nile to. We also booked the extra tomb of Tutankhamun its something you have to see once in your life. Its one of the smallest tombes but a must if you are there. The only thing I can say that I would change next time is that I would love to take more time. Seeing all in one day is impossible. If you have the option to go on a 2 or 3 day trip dont hesitate and do it. But if you are limited take the one day trip you won’t be sorry. Amazing trip and we will never forget it!

We had a fantastic trip to Luxor yesterday from Makadi Bay. The private mini bus was waiting for us at hotel reception. We had a bit of a wait on the way at a security checkpoint so it was a long journey to get there. When we arrived the guide Hamy met us. First stop Karnak which was fantastic, lots of information from Hamy. It was quite busy. We then went for a lovely lunch at Paris Restaurant on the West Bank before visiting the Collosus of Memnon, the Valley of the King's. We paid $11 extra each to go in the tomb of tutankhamen which was small but worth it, then 3 other tombs which were included. Final stop after an alabaster shop was the temple of Hatshepsut which was also good. Watch out for the hecklers trying to sell tat and the guides at the temples who will try to tell you stuff but then want paying. The trip back was shorter with no security check.

Amazing beautiful hotel. Well spoken friendly staff. Clean and fresh. Lovely rooms. Great WiFi. Loads for the family to do. Lots of entertainment. Loads of bars. Lots of food to choose from Animation team fantastic.

I took this tour with my mother and can honestly say it was an amazing experience. The guide was not only very knowledgeable but he also altered the times we were at very site to our wishes. If you want to see the beautiful sites of Luxor whilst not having to deal with being in a large group this is a tour you should for sure consider booking!

They tried to force me to pay more for a 17 day trip. I called and the day after the price was increased from 2500 to 3250. They said prices are more for winter, but it was the same new price in summer and only the price for solo travel was increased. Now that I pointed out that they are a fraude they try to come with excuses. Sad though because their program is very interesting!

Luxor is very nice to see. We have seen the 4 highlights. We have no regrets for this tour. We were with only our two. But some comments: The Dutch speaking guide was friendly and had knowledge, but he did not tell very much. He was not enthusiastic. The driver was very friendly. And he was a good driver, but he was speeding too much for us to be comfortable. He said trust me I do this every day. But still he could have driven 100 instead of 120-130 kmhr

I had a fantastic experience on my trip from Hurghada to Luxor. Our guide, Mohamed, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to the journey. The vehicle was clean, and punctuality was impeccable. This combination made the trip not only comfortable but also highly enjoyable. I appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism, making this excursion a memorable one. Highly recommended!

Overall, very nice experience, but a few things could be improved. Pros: - very flexible organisation, even last minute - professional driver, drove safe - Samah Ahmed, our guide, who was very knowledgeable, and did everything to accommodate our requests Cons: - last moment extra charge for card payment which was never mentioned - Luxor in day is too short and too tiring. Of course this nothing to do with the company, but if you can, go for 2 days

Hospitality and food horrible! You are nickel and dimed for every last thing! The accommodations were nice and the hot air balloon ride amazing but there are so many to choose from! And it’s not the people at the bottom that were the problem, it was all management! I missed one of my tours because they didn’t inform me of wrong leave time! And weren’t sorry!😟

We made a great excursion to Cairo from Sharm El Sheikh on October 9 and 10. At 4:15am we met a private taxi picked up from our resort for the transfer to the airport. We could easily make a flight there. Once again, a private taxi was ready for us which stayed with us both days for the various journeys through the city. The guide who accompanied us was able to tell us all the history of Egypt in Dutch. On the 1st day we were promised the pyramids, spinx and museum, so we were taken to the guest house for the overnight stay. We were very lucky with the 2nd supervisor who stayed with us in the guest house. He guided us through Cairo in the evening to get a taste of local life. Eating locally together while driving through the city in a Tuk Tuk, a truly wonderful experience. Later we had some drinks and smoked Shisha in a local café. 2nd day together with the driver, guide and supervisor, various cultural activities were provided in Cairo (Mosque, War Museum, various churches) and finally the Bazaar. After which we were taken back to the airport. What a great city Cairo is, it is truly indescribable how big, busy and hectic it is there, you have to experience that. Furthermore, only praise for the organization and everything was really well organised! Feedback

After an initial mix up, the office sent incorrect details to our pick up, Mohammed,and we were off. Approx 4.5 hours later, driving through mountains and villages, we picked up our guide, Alaadin. He took us to various places and was really informative and interesting about the history of Egypt. The trip was tailored to our needs. We weren't interested in shopping. So these places were omitted. We took a trip on the Nile to Banana Island (extra charge). The growing pattern of the banana was interesting. But it was a shame seeing the crocodile and monkeys locked away in those conditions. Lunch was at an all you can eat buffet and was very tasty. All in all, a long day. But very enjoyable.
