We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. David was very professional and knowledgeable of the island and the location of all the best snorkeling spots and beautiful fish. Liked the small maximum number of people allowed on one tour which made it more private and personal. Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Well worth the experience!

Wow!!!! I can't recommend H20 Bora Bora enough! We just got back from a 7 day cruise and our day with H20 Bora Bora was our highlight!! For starters Aimee was fabulous and was so easy to communicate with. She responded promptly to my emails and answered all of my questions. We did a 1/2 day private snorkeling tour with David, who we absolutely loved!! Pickup was easy without issues. We got to snorkel at 3 amazing spots. They allowed one of our friends to Scuba dive with David (for a reasonable additional cost) at one of the locations, while we snorkeled. We got to swim with 4 huge Manta Rays, which was definitely the highlight of our trip! Thank you Aimee and David for helping to make this trip so memorable for us. I highly recommend H20 Bora Bora!!

The best snorkeling I have ever done - so amazing I just booked again for a second outing during our week in Bora Bora. We saw manta rays, giant eagle rays and amazing coral gardens teeming with fish.
We especially appreciated our guide Rudolphe because he was focused first on the wildlife and ensuring that we understood how to enjoy our time AND be careful and caring for the environment so as not to harm or disturb the sea life or the coral. He was extremely careful on his driving to ensure no harm to the natural environment - and we certainly saw others out there that did not show the same concern. If we don’t take care of it, it won’t be there for us in the future.
Everything was professional for our private tour - the booking process, communicating with Aimee, on time pickup at our hotel dock, beautiful spotless boat in great condition.

David and Aimee, owners, were superb, beginning with email questions weeks before the trip and ending with a truly memorable half day of snorkeling. Although I am an experienced diver, my wife had only snorkeled once before and is afraid of water. David helped her immensely, making her feel safe and comfortable while also supporting the other 4 aboard. In a very nice boat, we stopped at 4 amazing sites, seeing manta rays , eagle rays , plenty of fish, and the most colorful coral I’ve ever seen (having dived in Cozumel and multiple islands in the Caribbean). Due to storms we had to reschedule twice, and Aimee and David were extremely accommodating. Of about 10 other diving/snorkeling trips, this was by far the best! On top of that, the cost was half of the charge at the Four Seasons where we stayed. Highly recommended!

This was absolutely outstanding and I couldn’t recommend it enough. By far the highlight of our honeymoon. The snorkelling was incredible but also H2O were brilliant to deal with. We bright an 8 month old baby and they were patient, considerate and flexible, which made everything so much more relaxed. Our guide was brilliant and they even had cold beer, Coke and water to relax between dips. This was worth every penny and I would do again in a heartbeat.

David and Aimee are a great team. The communication was fantastic. We had originally booked for the afternoon, but he suggested we go in the morning when the fish were more active and I'm so glad we switched. We got to see some amazing ocean life in 4 different locations. He swam with us to show us exactly where to look and pointed to spots in the ocean so we didn't miss anything. He would even pickup up certain ocean life to show us details we would have normally missed. His boat is beautiful and he was well prepared with warm towels and great snorkel equipment. The snorkeling in the coral gardens was our favorite spot. So many colorful fish and coral, it was like nothing else we've ever experienced! The water was so clear, it was incredible. He even got my friend who was afraid of the water to snorkel and not miss out on anything. We were so grateful for his calm demeanor and helpful attitude. I highly recommend taking this tour! It was the highlight of our Bora Bora vacation.

Great tour company!!! I was left high and dry by another tour company after booking over a year in advance. I had a whole private day planned with other company but no one had availability. The owner worked with me and planned a group date for 1/2 day and then another 1/2 day private to give us the time we wanted and to see all the sites we wanted to see on probably one time trip to French Polynesia (too many other places in this big world). Owners emails were quick and very helpful since time was of the essence. Guide was awesome and knowledgeable. He even had to tow a young healthy adult male around with a safety ring because he was being lazy in my opinion and he never hesitated or complained (and didn't even get a tip from the dude-french don't tip apparently) Sites we went to were awesome. Experiences were awesome and don't hesitate to highly recommend them!!!

As a family with two young kids 8 and 6, we booked a private snorkeling tour and had the best time with H20 Bora Bora. I booked a private tour as we were able to work on our schedule to ensure the kids would have a great time. However, I did not expect the above and beyond service we received to ensure the kids were able to see what my husband and I were seeing. They ensured my son who is not a strong swimmer could hold on to a life saver so that he could float and view everything (I expected that I had to do this myself).
During our tour we were able to see manta rays, eagle rays, variety of fishes and coral. All the stops were perfect and I appreciated it was just ourselves as we were able to easily following David and Rudolph as well as get all our questions answered while on the boat. The boat was perfect for us and I appreciate being able to have a shaded area and an area to gear up. They really tailored their boat to meet the needs of their clients.
Snorkeling in Bora Bora is a must and I when I come back I would book again with H20 Bora Bora. I love how they are a small family business, their care for the environment, and ensuring everyone on board is having a great time.

Would’ve been better if we had rented the whole boat is the short story. We booked this as a half day direct though we were on a cruise. There were only two of us and we were the first to book. We knew it was likely they would find four more so that was not a surprise. We went with a very nice family from France so there were six of us. If I ever did it again, however, I would just pay the money to rent the whole boat and have more say in what we did. As it was we were more at the mercy of what the family wanted to do. The first snorkel stop was FANTASTIC. Clear and bright, the coral and fish were spectacular. We were surprised because last time in BB the reefs were really starting to deteriorate. But this place was great and we were the only ones there. Unfortunately we didn’t stay very long. We then went to two places for viewing rays. Blah. Then we had to slow a bit because one in the other family wanted to use some special photography equipment. We were the last two to board so we were in the bow in the sun. They had the shade. The last stop was a place we’d been to before where a lot of the tour boats were also stopping. Ok but nothing could compare to the first spot. So we wish we would’ve rented the whole boat for the half day where we could decide what to do. Totally understandable it was 4-2 so not really complaining. Owners were very nice people.

Hello Christine. Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you decided not to reserve a private boat instead of a shared one. Had you chosen a private boat we would have been able to spend more time at the coral garden and completely skip the stops for the rays. For the majority of people visiting Bora Bora the rays are an absolute must so I am sorry you found them to be "blah".
The shared excursion includes 4 stops which I clearly set out in my initial email as manta rays, eagle rays, natural coral garden and one other site decided on the day depending on conditions. On the shared excursion we are limited regarding the time we can spend at each site to make sure we fit everything in.
I apologise if the sun disturbed you during the excursion. No mention of this was made to your guide - had you mentioned something we could have asked the other family to take turns with you sitting at the bow. On the shared excursion people often have different needs and requirements and we do our best to respond to all of these. As our groups are usually only 6 people (7 max if there is an odd numbered group of travellers) we usually manage quite well and, having chosen a shared excursion, people are usually very accepting of the others on the boat. For the French family it was the trip of their lifetime and the only time they will ever be in Polynesia so I can totally understand why they were perhaps given a few extra minutes to get some nice photos of their once in a lifetime holiday.
Next time you are in Bora Bora it will be our pleasure to have you back on the boat and spend more time at the coral garden - I have to agree it is exquisite!

We did our half day tour the day after it had been raining so unfortunately there was quite a bit of sediment in the water and we couldn't see the rays. We still had a great half day out - the coral gardens were amazing, and we stopped in a shallow bay for a swim and pictures. Our guide Rudolph was knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour!
