We were on a shared boat with other three couples for the intro dive. Each couple is taking care by a dive guide. We were with JP (Yes like “Japan” easy to remember). He’s a bit elder than the other three guys and we can tell he’s a diving veteran, very experienced. We had our own masks, wetsuits, etc. And JP was very friendly and patient waiting for us to put on all our own gears. He then explained the most basic and most important things to remember when we go for diving. At the beginning I was very nervous, and I asked a few questions, like the depth of water etc. JP checked our gears carefully to make sure everything is ready and worn properly. We jumped into the water and JP followed us immediately. While we were under the water, JP kept checking that we were okay and he let us hold his arms to move around under the water, since we had no previous diving experience and we even didn’t had time to try snorkeling (yes we just arrived at Bora Bora the day before). JP pointed a few fishes and corals around us and the deepest depth we descended was about 5-6 meters. Before we ascended, JP brought us to the boundary of shallow water and deep water, we stayed at the boundary staring at the deep water for a few minutes. We saw different kinds of fishes, live corals and clams, not too many, no big fishes.
I learned and practiced the very basic skills of diving. It’s a lot of fun, more than I thought. Surprisingly, I found breathing using my mouth wasn’t as difficult as I expected, but keeping myself balanced (buyout) in the water using my legs and fins were difficult. It also take time for my ear to get used to the water pressure but it was okay.
It’s indeed a very fun experience and I would definitely recommend everyone who’s interested in diving but had no diving experience to take this intro diving session. You’ll explore the underwater world of Bora Bora, not just from the surface. You won’t be disappointed with Eleuthera Bora Bora diving center!

Many thanks for this great review :-)
Introductory dives are always sufficiently complete to have all the cards in hand and have a great time.
In addition we have the chance to experience on our beautiful island this kind of moment.
Next time you’ll have to do Level 1 to try new adventures.
Pleasure to see you again

Very professional, knowledgeable, fun and considerate instructors. We were already PADI certified but wanted a refresher and a gradual introduction to Bora Bora diving. The team provided a wonderful series of dives (10-dive package split between a couple) that varied in depth and lagoon vs outer reef. The instructors clearly love the diving in Bora Bora and they enjoy sharing their experience with divers with a wide range of experience. Knowing that we were in such good hands was a highlight of our vacation.

My husband and I took the PADI certification course with Eleuthera and had an amazing experience from start to finish! It was my first time scuba diving and I was a little nervous. The team at Eleuthera helped me feel safe and confident! They set up our schedule over 3 days to complete the course and even picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel each day. On my first dive, our instructor made me feel very safe and was always close by so I felt comfortable. We saw beautiful coral gardens and so many fish on each dive. We even saw a sea turtle, manta rays, and sharks on some of the dives. I would highly recommend Eleuthera to all divers. It was the highlight of our trip to Bora Bora.

This was the first diving experience for my husband and me. What a great way to start, in a place called The Aquarium. Arthur was great at making our group feel calm and secure for a fun dive with the fishes. :)

I had never been scuba diving in my life and was a little bit nervous - but I was completely at ease in the water in Bora Bora. Shoutout to Max, David, Alex and the entire crew who made our experience and honeymoon in Bora Bora truly incredible. I had such a blast on my first dive that I got my PADI Open Water. I still need to complete the online learning but learned so much from Max and the team that I can’t wait to be officially certified! Highly recommend diving here - we saw rays, eels, sharks, so many beautiful fish, and even a turtle!

All the staff (including Jenny accomodating super easy bookings) were super friendly informative and professional. David, Alex, Rex, Niki....all put us at ease and made us laugh. After the intro dive, we dove 6 more times including a night dive. We saw and experienced all we could want...including sighting a Hump Back with her calf. Thank you all so very much...good operation with great people.

It was amazing!! I had a fantastic time! It was my first time scuba diving and our dive instructor was so patient. He made sure we understood everything. I felt safe going down with him. Plus there was another couple on board and he took us down at separate times. Which means he was able to focus and ensure everyone’s safety. If I remember correctly, our dive instructors name was Reynuld. But if I’m wrong, I’ve attached a picture of our group. Great memories and thank you for such an awesome experience!!

The Introductory Dive was the last of our three excursions and we definitely saved the best for last! Admittedly I am a little biased in my opinion having been scuba diving before, but this was a memorable experience because it was my husband's first time and seeing him enjoy the experience as much as I do made me happy.
We were picked up from our resort promptly and were provided with an overview of the equipment and experience as we drove out to the dive location. The staff was friendly and professional and the waters were clear and warm. We saw a few black tip shark during our dive, beautiful coral reef, and colorful fish.

JP was my dive captain and he did a fantastic job. The experience was so good I did two more dives with them the next day. On the three dives I did we saw mantas, tons of reef sharks and a den of lion fish. I've returned home and signed up for a certification course. I'd recommend them to anyone interested in diving.

We did an introductory dive for my girlfriend as she is not certified. Pascal was amazing. He made my girlfriend feel so comfortable. She absolutely loved diving and now wants to get certified. We saw several manga rays, a moray eel, several black tip reef sharks, a barracuda, a turtle, and tons of other tropical fish. This was such an amazing experience. We love you Pascal!!!!
