The trip was amazing even though the weather wasn't great. Fabien was excellent making sure every guest was fine and helped people with their masks getting in and out the water. Best customer service I have seen and a great captain on a lovely boat. The trip was so awesome with Fabien as our guide we saw manta rays, eagle rays, sharks, moray eel, stone fish, seahorse as well as many other fish. Can't recommend this trip highly enough, I must do in Bora Bora.

I had a 2-hour private tour with Pierre and were able to swim with manta rays, sharks and Eagle rays! We went go to spots where there were no other boats and had a great mini tour of the beautiful Bora Bora lagoon. I have been on a couple of Reef Discovery Bora Bora tours already and highly recommend this! Perhaps a 3-hour tour would be best since the lagoon has so much to offer, but 2 hours was awesome.

This experience was truly a once in a lifetime! We booked this through the Four Seasons not knowing who the tour company was and boy did we luck out with Fabien and Mana. After about a 45 minute boat ride, they were able to locate whales...a mother and 1 month old calf. Luckily there was only one other boat in the area, so only about 10 of us in the water near the animals. We were so lucky to have spent over an hour in the water with these beautiful creatures. I have to admit that I was a bit afraid of going in the water at first, but all of that fear vanished once we swam over to the whales and saw them up close. It was truly an amazing experience! The snorkeling equipment they provided was top-notch...no leaking masks or snorkel issues. Life vests were provided for those that wanted them. Fabien did a great job keeping everyone in our group of 6 together and safe. His love and respect of these animals is evident. He and Mana were very knowledgeable about them and we all learned so much. My husband and our two friends agreed this was one of the best vacation experiences of our lives! My husband and I had an unforgettable whale watching experience with Fabian and Mana! Both guides were very knowledgeable and helped us have a great time. They got us close to several humpback whales throughout the trip and even helped get us in the water to hear the whales sing! Thank you Fabian and Mana! My husband and I did a half day snorkeling excursion with Fabian and we had an amazing time. We saw manta rays, eagle rays, black tip sharks, and more beautiful fish than we could count. We were well taken care of and would definitely recommend to anyone considering booking.

We got to jump in the water and actually hear the whales singing. Incredible once in a lifetime experience. Fabian and Mana really knew what they were doing and were excellent guides. So good we booked them again for another tour. They are the best on the island

Fabian is AWESOME! Had a great experience. We saw, and got in the water with, manta rays, a school of eagle rays, sharks, coral garden, stingrays and saw so much cool stuff. He was very knowledgeable and every location we stopped at was full of wildlife and great video opportunities.

Fabian and Nui were great! We were able to hop in the water with whales 3 times and see them up close! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

We had a great time with Pierre during the private tour! We were almost alone at the spots, saw plenty of manta rays, beautiful eagle rays, and coral gardens. We learned interesting things about the island 👌 We highly recommend the experience!

Had a fabulous morning snorkeling the lagoon. Saw manta, eagle, and sting rays. The manta rays were enormous! Also saw a huge variety of fish. 2 thumbs up!

Our excursion with Reef Discovery Bora Bora was absolutely amazing, and Captain Pierre made the experience truly unforgettable! From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly passionate about the marine life around Bora Bora. The highlight of the trip was snorkeling in the Coral Garden, where the vibrant colors and variety of marine species were breathtaking. Captain Pierre ensured we had plenty of time to explore and guided us to the best spots. His expertise made us feel safe while swimming among the coral, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. But the real thrill came when we encountered sharks and Manta Rays! Pierre’s enthusiasm was contagious as he shared fascinating insights about these incredible creatures. Seeing the graceful Manta Rays up close and witnessing sharks glide by was an exhilarating, once-in-a-lifetime moment. If you’re visiting Bora Bora, a tour with Reef Discovery and Captain Pierre is a must-do! This was hands-down one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on, and I can’t recommend it enough. This was by far the best experience my husband and I had on our honeymoon. Fabien and Mana were amazing guides and did everything possible to get us safely in the water with the whales. Once in a lifetime kind of moment because of our amazing guides made it possible for us.

We were very lucky. We saw Manta Rays, swam with sharks ( some stayed in the boat). Tons of fish!! Nui and Tino were excellent, good information about Bora Bora, the marine life and culture. They were friendly and the boat was clean and smooth.

Mana and Nui were fun to be around. Both were fantastic at spotting the whales. Mana gave everyone clear instructions with regards to swimming with the whales and he kept everyone safe when in the water. They knew the whales behaviours well which enabled us to have an incredible close encounter where mum and baby swam right next to us! The boat was really comfortable and we have a nice small group of 6. Overall the afternoon couldn’t have been any better!
