- Robyn D0 contributionsIncredible experienceThis was an incredible experience all thanks to our amazing guide Ly. She is an excellent guide, going out of her way to engage us, she even introduced us to her family, and called around in the evening and let us help prepare the dinner ! There is no question she cannot answer and we had an amazing time.Written May 19, 2024
- E2593OJsusanl0 contributionsNgoc Nhan, excellent safe driver, also very kind and helpful. Excellent serviceWe were driven from Hue to Hoi An in hotel car by Ngoc Nhan. He was a very safe driver going through the Marble Mountains stopping at three different sights for photos. It was very picturesque and we could take as much time as we wanted. The car was a luxury Kia electric.Written March 16, 2024
- gordonf6440 contributionsGood if you enjoy a long easy walk.A great wee tour. Our guide, Song, was a lovely wee girl who took us along a wonderful journey. At various points she stopped to give us differing options explaining that going one way would give us some highlights while another gave us something different, that way she was able to tailor a tour to exactly what we preferred. All in I think we walked about 8 miles or so, which took us until mid afternoon so it was a very well paced day which included lunch. One slight downside - 2 old ladies joined us on the outskirts of Sapa and walked with us for the whole day - we weren’t quite sure why they were there. Song explained at the start that people would try and sell us stuff along the way but we didn’t realise that this was the 2 she was talking about. Near the end of the tour when they decided to leave us we got the hard sell as they pulled out their wares for us to buy. A bit uncomfortable and we felt obliged to buy something small. A pity…..it spoilt an otherwise great day.Written November 30, 2023

- Katharina L0 contributionsAusgezeichnetThe woman who walked with us was extremely friendly and explained us many things without us having to ask for it. But all the questions we asked were answered very detailed. The lunch was great and the pick up as well as the drive home very easy! I would recommend booking the trip any time.Written April 12, 2023
- azrilz20150 contributionsNeed to be fit for thisThe trekking is not for the fainted heart. Sung our tour guide mentioned about the path will be slippery and muddy, and she was not kidding. Communication with Sung was good. Dont mind recommending her to others.Written December 21, 2022
- Machigoh0 contributionsGood to experience itOur guide Ms Song, a petite lady met us on time at the hotel. We have to walk more than a km to the start of the journey. Before we start the trek to Y Linh Ho, Ms Song explained that the full hike will take abt 15km and the shorter route will be around 5km. The ladies in the group opted for the shorter route. With that, we have to walk another 20 mins on paved roads to another starting point. Personally, I was disappointed not to proceed with the full trek. I wish she has not given us the option. It was a nice cool weather but a little hazy. We were lucky that the tracks were dry. The view was good but not exceptional. I have seen better rice terraced fields than these. The first part of the trek was easy. When we approached the second part of the trek to Lao Cai, where we have to go downhill, it could be challenging as it was steep and narrow. Luckily, the local ladies were on hand to help the ladies. The hike stopped at Lao Cai for lunch. This was where the local ladies would sell their goods to you. We bought some stuff from them and also gave tips in appreciation for their assistance. The trek from Lao Cai to Ta Van was relatively easy on flat ground and mostly on paved roads. From the pick-up point at Ta Van, it was a 20 mins taxi ride back to the hotel.Written November 9, 2022
- Cara M0 contributionsRice fields and old village tourWas a day we will never forget. In taking the ‘easier’ trek, realised that we had made the right choice. It was quite difficult and slippery, but got through it with the help of the local ladies from Village. I would suggest you wear weather proof hiking boots. The guide was very friendly and informative.Written October 9, 2022
