This was an amazing experience. We booked everything (including the sleeper bus to and from Sapa) easily with Sinh over WhatsApp, pay half now, half when you arrive. We arrived slightly early and Sinh went out of his way to come and let us into his office which was really nice and allowed us to have a shower and get ready to trek (we also left our big bags there). From there we went into town to have breakfast and wait for our trekking guide to arrive. Then we started trekking with Bau (our guide), we realised how lucky we were with the weather and ability to see stunning views. The whole time we were trekking, there was something to be seen. Bau was really lovely and helpful, helping me and my partner down the harder bits of the trek. We did the 3D2N trek which was, day 1 - 20km, day 2 - 12.5km and day 3 - 13.5 km. it was hard but definitely worth it and Bau was very good at picking up when we needed a break. The Homestay was really lovely too, good food and good views. This trek tour was really good for experiencing and understanding the various ethnic minorities in the area and a good way to get a quieter and more peaceful experience, away from Sapa’s centre. Bau hopes to start her own Homestay so make sure to ask for Bau when you go for this trek!

This is the best trekking I've ever had even though I've been in Sapa so many times before. This is the first time I decided to leave Sapa town with all the convenience facilities and model hotels behind to join as a part of Sapa nature and spirit. Sinh and his friends definitely did not let me down. Sinh was take care of every thing to make sure I have had the most interesting trekking ever. Bao - a H'mong girl that my partner for all the time, she lead me go through all the green fields, the forest and deep down inside the mountain that barely touch by the human. She took care of me very well, always listen and explain for me about everything on the way. I knew more about the people life, the culture and understand why they are so connected with the nature and have such an amazing lives. After 3-4 hours walking, Sinh arranged the cozy homestay with such a nice view the the valley and delicious meals that prepared by himself. We had an interesting conversation during the dinner and I really admired of what he learnt and how he grow up then running the business on his own home... how fascinated he is in the great effort to become the one represent for his hometown and bring such an great services for me and all others, not just the foreigners who one to experiences the true meaning life of the people, but also for our guys, the city boys and girls to know more and see how beautiful our country are by our own eyes. So thanks Sinh and Bao for all of that, I will definitely recommend this trip and your service to my friends, and I myself will come back really soon :)

Our guide Tzu was very knowledgeable and has shown us the beauty of Sapa outside of mainstream destinations. We didn’t travel in the right season but the rice paddy fields were still beautiful. Tzu knew the area inside out and could adjust the route for our conditions. Note that most of the walk is downhill, so good walking shoes (waterproof as well if possible because it can get muddy) and good knee condition are recommended. Before the trip, we’d expected to see many beautiful landscapes and the varying terrains of Sapa, but unfortunately, it was quite hazy for most of our trip so the far away views were not really visible. Instead, we had some eye-opening moments learning about the life and culture of the Hmong ethnicity, some of which can be both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. We highly recommend this tour!

We loved the tracking very much. We were really glad with Zhu. Her knowledge about plants and medicine is really great to learn from. Her hospitality is enormously, we have been in her own house and saw her children. She arranged everything very good and speaks English (learnt from tourists) very well. We had a nice home stay for two days and three days hiking with in total 40km. That was enough for us as a family with 2 children from 13 and 15 years.

Thank you Sinh and Zhu! We will recommend you for friends and family!

It is difficult to choose the right words. The sapa villages are an absolute must see. Spectacularly beautiful views and amazing people. The guides Pao and Chu were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. During the tours it was great to talk to them and get to know the ways of the black mong people. Also the Homestay at Su was lovely. I would give more that a 5 star rating if I could.

I just again want to highlight my two guides Chu and Pao. I hope I get to see them and their families in the future again. Genuinely kind people.

Of all my travels, this was one of the most meaningful and special. I backpack a lot in the US and so I was looking for the most off-the-beaten-path journey. This one was definitely it!

I was met by Sinh (the owner of the trekking company) upon my arrival to Sapa. He had patiently and graciously answered all my questions that I had prior to the trip via email, and his response time was extremely fast. On the morning of my tour, I was introduced to his sister, Tzu, who would be my guide for the next three days. As I was the only person on the group tour, they catered the route to be trekking-heavy (which I requested). We went through the mountain side, through corn and rice paddy fields, and across rivers. Tzu was extremely knowledgeable about all the plant and animal life, pointing out many of them that were used in Hmong cooking and medicine. Even though we stayed in Homestays, nothing about this trip was "touristy" in the typical sense. The cultural immersion and welcoming warmth of all the people made the trek one of the most incredible experiences that I have had in my travels. Everything about the villages and the people were beautiful, and Tzu even took me to her house and introduced me to her kids. There is something very special about being invited in to experience someone else's culture, and Tzu answered so many of my questions about her own life and the everyday life of the Black Hmong people.

After the tour, Sinh met me with his family for dinner in Sapa town (one of his favorite noodle shops away from the "touristy" area) and even gave me a ride to the bus station on his motorbike. I can't say enough good things about Sinh, Tzu, and their families. Anyone traveling through Vietnam should stop by Sapa and take Sinh's tour. I think you'll have just as meaningful of a trip as I did!
