      Lovely Excursion!
Nicest excursion we took during our Norwegian cruise. We were very fortunate for a gorgeous day. We lucked out and saw whales and seals. Lunch was fantastic and our guide was lovely. I really wish we had an extra 30 minutes (but the cruise ship dictates timing unfortunately).

      Best Tour Ever
What a Funtastic Tour. Sam & Simon go all out to make the boat tour of the bay interesting and fun from start to finish. Then we sat down to one of the Best Dungeness Crab dinners ever. Be sure to visit the gift shop. Lots of photo ops. Best of all we saw an Eagle and had lots of photo time. During the season you may see whales and Orca too.

      Good excursion
We took this excursion from Celebrity Cruises. We had done something similar before and like the combination of sightseeing and seafood. We were bussed from the pier to the boat dock. Once at the dock, we boarded the tour boat and were shown several examples of Alaska wildlife, including bald eagles. We stopped at the Silver King Lodge for a short walk and lunch. It's in a very pretty setting. The food was very good. There was plenty but is was a little light on crab. After lunch, it was a short ride back to the bus and then back to the ship. The operator had miscalculated the number of busses needed (for several tours) so some people had to wait while another was called. Overall, we enjoyed this excursion.

Great outing with something for everyone.
This was our favorite excursion on the Alaska tour. The ATV ride was a new experience for us. It included a short hike to beautiful scenery. Our guides were amazing and provided a lot of interesting information. The boat ride was calm, beautiful scenery and some opportunity to see wildlife. Meal and beer tasting was outstanding, once again with a knowledgeable leader.

Worthwhile boat & Seafood feast tour
Very nice 3.5 hour boot & land adventure. The Seafood feast at the end was great, crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes & more. One of our better tours odd cruise ship in Alaska.

      Delicious crab
We went on the crab feast tour to George Inlet lodge. The crab was plentiful and delicious. All you can eat in 1 hour. We were stuffed. The setting is pretty but being Ketchikan, it was raining. Our shuttle driver was Shane and he was delightful, as was his pup Monet.

      A True Crab Feast
This is truly a feast. The crab was the freshest and the tastiest I have ever eaten. The portions are great. It was all you can eat in one hour. The cheesecake with blueberry topping was excellent. I would love to return.

      No bus..No Crab !
Lumberjack show once it got started was fun & everyone there had a big smile on their faces !! The bad thing. No Crab Feast there. We weren't told we had to find a lady holding a sign & she would help us. She said Cruise ship people line up here. We still had no clue we needed to find a bus get on the bus & go to where the Crab Feast is !! So no Crab Feast. Waiting for Refund.

Everything was good, I wasn’t particularly happy having my meal at 8 AM, and I felt extremely rushed
The crab was amazing. Staff was great and very friendly! The crab is incomparable to anything I can get back home, so thank you!

Wilderness Cruise & Silverking Lodge Seafood Feast. Ketchikha, Alaska boat tour that was amazing.
This was the most amazing tour which was more than we expected from the boat ride to an active eagles nest that soared from the nest to scoop up the herring that our guide through out to him and then seals basking in the sunshine to the walk in the rainforest to the grand seafood boil dumped on our tables. It was a wow on all levels. Thank you so much.

Food good, just crowded. Entertaining show.
We met our tour guide at 12:15pm in Ketchikan. We were the only ones in the tour group. Our tour guide, Jake was great. He couldn't take us to the Crabfeast at Gorge Inlet Lodge until 1:00 so he took us to a beautiful place where we could see Bears. We saw 2! At 1:00, he dropped us off at the Lodge where we were going to have our Crab Feast. We were one of the last people to arrive. The dining room is pretty crowded. I had to squeeze between the table and a wall behind me- I couldn't scoot forward or back in my chair at all. They start you off with a small salad and bring you a soda, beer, or wine. They instruct you how to break open the crab and then serve you it. You can eat all you can within their time frame (about a half an hour). There are no other side dishes, but they will give you a slice of cheesecake for dessert at the end. We took a couple of photos and then met up with our tour guide again, who took us into town for the Lumberjack show. We were one of the first people to enter the Lumberjack show, which I was grateful for because it was a sold out show (they said 650 people). They had to squeeze people in and a few people had to sit in uncovered bleachers in the rain. (But they were given ponchos.) The show was entertaining an fun.

      Very poorly managed.
Went to the crab feast first (crab at 9am??). The food was good but aside from a meager salad, all you get is crab and butter. No sides not even french fries. Then, at 10 am they announced that our transportation would be leaving at 10:15. We rushed through some pictures and then headed up the long flight of stairs in the rain. And proceeded to wait an hour for our ride back to town. There were a bunch of vans and busses dropping people off, but they all declined to transport us and headed back to town empty. Needless to say we missed our scheduled time for the lumberjack show. They did manage to squeeze us in to the next show, but it looked overbooked. They had to drag out extra bleachers. That said, the show was awesome. Exciting and humorous. Would do it again as long as I didn't have to rely on this company for transportation.

Lumberjack show great , crab fest not so much to us
The lumberjack show was a great experience and we had a lot of fun. The crab fest at the end was ok but I personally think the money would be better spent getting crabs on the docks . It is a 30 min ride to the feast and then pack you in like a cattle lineup. If you enjoy getting crab juice sprayed on you by all the people sitting next to you and not really getting your 150 bucks worth you will love it. I personally wish we would have eaten on the docks I am guessing for a lot cheaper and had more time to walk around . This is just my opinion some people seemed to really enjoy it

      Highly Recommended Excursion
Wow! This is an hilarious way to demonstrate the rigors of logging and the fitness level of these lumberjacks. The show demonstrates the skills needed to be a lumberjack in a very entertaining way, pitting Dawson Creek, Canada against Spruce Mills, it's American Rival. The show exceeded my expectations tremendously. The Crab feast was a dream come true. Unlimited Dungeness crab legs, hot from the pot with crab shells and butter flying everywhere. I have never eaten so much crab at one time in my life. The crab is served with a generous beer or wine pour and the Blueberry cheese cake dessert is so creamy it just melts in your mouth. It's a good that it melts because you have no where to put it in your stomach after all the crab.

      5 out of 5 stars
Amazing experience and highly recommend booking this took when you are in Ketchikan. My family and I had a blast on the boat tour which ended in an all-you-can-eat crab feast. When I say all-you-can-eat, I mean just that. The staff elevated the experience to a whole other level. 5 out of 5 stars!!

The wilderness exploration portion of the excursion is a visit to pre-baited crab trap pots. We saw eagle nests, but they were pretty prevalent throughout Alaska. Other than that the “wilderness” was a bust.

I gave a 3 star review because of the crab feast … it did not disappoint. The crab was served piping hot, was plentiful and delicious. The $199 price per person, however, is steep.

The 79 steps down to the dock/restaurant and 79 steps back up to the parking lot are not handicapped accessible.

I would not recommend this excursion unless you don’t mind paying $199 for a small salad, crab, a piece of cheesecake and a beverage.

We took this tour from our cruise ship. First, there was a 45 minute bus ride through downtown Ketchikan and to the point of departure. The bus driver told stories about Ketchikan and totem poles. Scenery wasn't that spectacular on the bus ride.

Once we arrived at the departure point, there were 75 steps going down and then back up after we were done. It wasn't easy but it wasn't difficult if you're any kind of shape at all. We got on board the boat and set sail for various different points around the inlet. CJ tried to keep us informed but it was hard to hear him with the outboard motor noise. All in all, it wasn't all that interesting.

Once we returned to the lodge, the best part of the trip took place. They promised us as Dungeness crab fest, and they weren't wrong. Those who wanted a beer or wine each got one free glass. We started out with half of a Dungeness crab each after one of the people showed us how to break it apart. Surprisingly, as we were finishing, they offered anyone that wanted some another half of a Dungeness crab. We took part in that as well. And then, for those that were interested, excluding us, and were still hungry, they offered even more crab. Finally, we had a piece of blueberry cheesecake.

That was followed by another 45 minute drive on the bus back to the boat. It's too bad that we had to spend 90 minutes on the bus.

Had a great time on our Wilderness Exploration and Crab Feast. Went out with our captain and tour guide and saw an old Salmon canning factory on our way to an area to pull crab pot. I was able to assist in the pulling of the pot and it was so much fun!
Tour guide explained the difference between males and females and how they live in this area. On our way back we saw two bald eagles that flew right up to our boat… beautiful!
The crab lunch was amazing. They taught us how to break them open and fed us all the crab we wanted.
Highly suggest this tour if you are visiting Ketchikan.

We have a lucky streak, Sunshine and a beautiful day. This was our first excursion on our September Cruise and the best. The trip out to pull the crab pots was fantastic. The guide was knowledgeable and explained everything. Did a slow sightseeing tour back to the Lodge. At the Lodge dinning room they served fresh crab until you couldn't eat NO MORE.
The 79 stairs down (and 79 up) to the vessel and Lodge are an exercise. They do have vehicles for transport if you require it.

This was an excursion from our Holland America Cruise, docked in Ketchikan. Our tour started around 10:30am, and went for about 4hrs. We had a beautiful day too. A short bus ride to the George Inlet Lodge. Our bus driver was great! We boarded our boat and off we went. It was calm cruising, and the views were lovely. We did head out to the crab pots and one was pulled up for us to examine the crabs. Our guide on the boat was wonderful. She did a great job. My only complaint is that it was so hard to hear her talking over the boats speaker. Due to a lot of background noise. After our fun boat tour we headed back to the George Inlet Lodge for our crab feast. I thought the crab feast was very well organized. After an introduction, and some help with crab shell cracking, we were off and eating. The meal was indeed all you could crack and eat. We had our fill, and it was delicious. A drink (beer for me) came with the meal. Along with yummy cheesecake. Again, I thought they did a great job with the feast part. Then it was back on the bus to board our ship. This was a wonderful excursion. I would do it again.

Starts with a boat tour through picturesque waterway. Not a lot of wildlife, but they feed the eagles (is that legal?) to get them to fly by. Did pick up a crab pot with crab. The tour was pleasant enough.
It ends with the crab feast and that exceeded our expectations. The crab was delicious. And plenty of it. There wasn't a great variety of food (just salad, crab, and desert) but it was very good.

BEST TOUR!!!!! This was a fabulous excursion! First we went on a boat ride to pull up the crab nets. Our tour guide on the boat was really good and interesting. He was a younger person and did a fabulous job. Our boat captain was great. . We saw a whale , eagles, and a giant eagle nest. We ate Dungeness crab - fabulous. And it was very plentiful. Cheesecake with blueberries on top for dessert which was really good also! If I came back here, I would do the tour again.

Best excursion yet! Beth (the guide) and Sonny (boat captain) were the best! They showed us wildlife and beautiful scenery. They were very informative. Shout out to Beth for taking videos of my husband and friend hand feeding deer! The seafood boil was delicious! I highly recommend this excursion!

We had the best excursion on the Wilderness Exploration & Crab Feast. Saw eagles & pulled crab traps. Best was we enjoyed great Dungeness crab feast ever at St. George's Inlet. So fresh & delicious. Enjoyed the bus ride from the NCL dock to where we caught the boat tour. Driver was very knowledgeable and shared fun facts about Ketchikan. A great day all the way around.
