        Awesome time with the puppies
This was one of the highlights to my visit in Alaska. The operators were fantastic, from the van pick up to the folks at the base camp to the helicopter pilots to the folks handling the puppies to the dogsled captain. Just an all-around great several hours.

        Unbelievable!
This tour is more than just sightseeing; it's a journey into the heart of nature and a call to protect our planet. If you're looking to make unforgettable memories, this tour is a must. It's a story you'll tell for years to come, an experience unlike any other!

        Canceled our tour
Would have loved for this to be a five-star review! I've heard nothing but good things about this experience and this company. But about 2 hours before our flight they called to cancel due to weather. Understandable that they can't control the weather, but no alternative was offered. No standby, no we might be able to go if we push you back, just "we're canceling all flights today due to weather." Wouldn't have been that big of a deal if we hadn't gone on another tour to the glacier and seen groups of helicopters every 30 minutes for the five hours we were there!

        Very best taste of Alaska
By far the very best excursion we did our entire land and sea visit to Alaska! Worth every penny. If you can't afford it, cancel everything else and just do this. Seriously.

        Just go!!!!!!!!!
Very well organized, from the pick up at the ship to fitting us with boots, to boarding the copter! Our pilot was Oceana and she was amazing! Gave us a beautiful tour up to the glacier, well informed and personable. Landed smoothly, let us get out and walk around, took pictures of this amazing adventure. No excuses...just go!

You get a pilot and not a tour guide
The actual glacier was outstanding! Getting there was a amazing & a first for us. My only qualm is that my pilot is exactly that, a pilot. He is not a tour guide so he was not overly informative about the glacier when we were on it. He just took us there & showed us a couple cool spots. He was cordial and respectful, but this was basically a taxi to the glacier and back. A very expensive taxi and about 20 min on the glacier. With that said, I’m glad we did it and are now done with going on glaciers because that price point was crazy. It was definitely a bucket list item I’m glad we did. This was definitely a better price than doing it through the cruise ship. We did Hubbard glacier. I also plugged in on the internet a search for coupon codes with trip advisor. Saved me about $70. Try that before you checkout. Also try to use Rakuten as your main platform to use Trip Advisor because you might also get some cash back for using their site to then use Trip Advisor. Hopefully that makes sense. At the end of the day, glad we did it. One and done!

        Canceled but great company
This review is about the company and not the tour. Our ship had an issue and would arrive late to port. When I emailed the company on the same day, they let me know they were already informed and had refunded my payment. Before we even booked, we loved how they accommodated us by advising me that the arrival time on the ship's info was incorrect and that I would arrive in time to do the 4:15 tour, which would have happened. The communication and friendliness of all I have dealt with have amazing. I wish we could have taken the tour but will definetly be a customer should we return.

        Trip of a lifetime
This was the trip of a lifetime. Easy to book. Good communication. Everything worked like clockwork. Unlike the other helicopter tours who seem to move in packs we were the only helicopter on the glacier. It was peaceful amazing I rushed and an experience we will never forget. This was worth every penny of the cost!

        Helicopter in Juneau
Our pilot Corey went through all the safety training that we would expect. He told us to ask questions whenever we wanted to, but he let us know that he might not be able to answer them because he would always be in contact with other pilots or the ground crew. We were paired with another helicopter and that pilot really showed us around the glacier and told us where we should go to see things. Being on the glacier is quite an exciting thing to do. We were able to walk around and see various different aspects of the glacier. It is a really fun adventure if you get the chance to do this while visiting Juneau.

        Amazing experience
This was the best experience ever!!! Everything from pickup from the cruise ship to the staff and pilot at Coastal Helicopters was great. The shuttle driver also pointed out brown bears on the side of road on the way to the airport. The flight to the glacier was amazing, it was my first ever time in a helicopter and i had no idea what to expect. The views and actually walking on the icefield is something I will never forget.

        Incredible company incredible flight!
This was the most amazing experience ever! The views are breathtaking. You must do this tour ! The folks at Costal are so kind and professional from beginning to end. The helicopter flight was amazing and our pilot Anna was stellar! The Herbert glacier is of course breathtaking, and the folks at coastal probably have the most amazing route allowing you to see incredible views on your way to the glacier. Would definitely recommend them. You won’t regret paying for this trip ! It’s once on a lifetime!

Incredible life adventure. This tour was worth every penny. The helicopter ride was flawless with amazing views of Juneau and all its beauty, landing to see all of the amazing huskies so excited to guide us brought back childhood excitement. 100 percent recommend this tour!

We had so much fun! We were picked up from our cruise ship and taken to the airport where we were shown a safety video and outitted in shoe covers. The helicopter ride was very smooth and gave great views of the Glacier. The dogsled ride was great fun and gave my family a memory that they will never forget! Do this!

Highlight of Land / Cruise excursions thus far, beating out our excellent flightseeing in Denali. Beautiful sunny day gave way to a smooth both ways cramped helicopter ride to the mushing camp. Josie was our "driver" of ten anxious dogs pulling herself and four of us through the snow pack for a mile and a half or so. We pet the adult dogs and then were introduced to the cute as hell pups. Talk about a feel good excursion.

First time in a helicopter for us both. The staff were so attentive and ensured our safety at all times from start to finish.
The ride in the helicopter was amazing over the mountains to the glacier.
The dog sledging was an amazing experience, the dogs look happy and happy at their work! The mushers and other staff all look after the dogs well and you can tell they all love their work.
      Would highly recommend this trip.

We did this trip as an excursion on a 7 day Alaskan Cruise (purchased independently) and I have to say this was truly the highlight of our entire vacation! The flight over the mountains was just breathtaking and the camp area and dogsled ride was so much fun! We lucked out on having amazing weather and actually only needed light jackets on the glacier. They provide snow shoe covers that are slipped on over your existing shoes so you do not need to wear any special hiking/snow shoes. The walk in the snow was a bit difficult on the glacier as it was a warm day and the snow was slushy and you would sink several inches every now and then. The shoe covers were the perfect way to keep your shoes nice and dry. We all felt the length of the sledding ride was appropriate and the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Can not say enough good things about this experience! Highly recommend.

If you are on the fence about spending the money to do this Experience, let me tell you that it is well worth it! My husband was very nervous about the helicopter, but the staff was so professional and took all the safety measures very seriously, to make him feel at ease. The views flying over the glacier and mountains was so beautiful, I took a ton of photos.
My husband and I had to be split up on the sled, due to he odd number of people, but that was OK. I went on Joey's sled, and he was great and answered all my questions about the dogs, racing and the glacier.
I was disappointed with the professional photos that were taken by an independent company. They were very far away and a little blurry, so not worth the cost in my opinion, but we took lots on our own.

Booked way in advance, fingers crossed that it would be a clear day to copy or and to sled. Prayers were answered! Cloudless! Staff was great from downtown to paperwork, pilot to mushers. Really helped make the experience, but credit for the views on the flight from heliport to the glacier go to Mother Nature and God. Wow! Visibility was unbelievable and can’t explain how seeing untouched land so immense makes you think differently about overpopulated cities and towns. Flight was great- we were met by dog pros
and over 225 huskies. Amazing animals and despite looking like they were antsy, they’re doing the work they love. We sledded for about 30-45 minutes, stopping every so often and we’re able to interact and pet the pups, which made my girls 😊.
Would have liked a longer ride, which is why only 4 stars. Great excursion and a once in a lifetime experience, and the fact you’re standing on a glacier hundreds of years in the making is pretty darn cool too.

This was a wonderful experience. Great time was had by all. Shaynee Traska was wonderful with her knowledge and kind treatment of our family. They shared a little bit of there time with some tourist and we appreciated ever minute of kindness. The puppies and dogs were a great treat and they were beautiful and powerful.

Found out at meeting spot they’d canceled the tour due to weather. No alternatives offered. Called the company to ask why we weren’t given notice? Representative acknowledged they hadn’t been able to get to the dog camp all day. Yet, we receive no contact and are left without a Juneau excursion. A wasted day. I understand weather and the risks. But this company could have called us this morning. Instead, they send a representative to the meeting spot to drop this bomb on us. There are three helicopter companies in Juneau. Try the other two. Not Coastal.
