Mike from Alaskan Angling Adventures did not disappoint. Mike supplied us with all the gear we needed for the day including the coffee. He was very patient in showing us how to fly fish as well as other styles of fishing . A day of salmon fishing on the Kenai River. What an experience we had, my husband isn’t in to fishing one bit but thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. Mike made sure we all experienced the fight of reeling in a salmon when fly fishing. At the end of the day Mike cleaned and filleted all our fish for us and made sure we knew where to get it packed and sealed. Would definitely book another trip with Mike.

We went with a mix of friends and family for five days with Mike. He was patient when he needed to be and determined to have us catch fish and show us his love of the surroundings. He is an excellent oar’s man, as on this deep, fast, and cold water, which is more intimidating than the usual streams of Colorado. we were all able to enjoy ourselves, feel comfortable and catch many different species of fish. Even my wife who went for one day had a fantastic time. We encountered other guides and anglers, and without going into specifics, it was obvious Mike has a high degree of ethics and experience. His love of the ecosystem and ability to have us all enjoy it was first rate. My recommendation is without reservation.

Mike was the absolute man. My buddy and I came to Alaska with high hopes and expectations and Mike delivered. We did a 3 day trip with him and fished the upper part of the Kenai, the Canyon and the mouth of the Skilak. Great all around experience and above all - we learned the RIGHT way to fish and be respectful of the ecosystem.

The best day of our Alaskan adventure! My grandsons’ fishing experience has only been in Michigan for bluegill, trout, etc. Nothing compared to fishing the Kenai for salmon. Mike Adams took us to the right spot at the perfect time of day. He was very patient (how many times can you snag a log?) and taught the guys the techniques needed to catch and land those beautiful fish. The scenery is gorgeous and a bonus for us was the bear we saw while drifting downstream. Highly recommend Mike and Alaskan Angling Adventures.

I can't rate this high enough...The owner, Mike Adams, is an amazing guide.. prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and he got us on the fish in the first spot. Dad and I limited out in less than 3 hours and got to kick back and just enjoy the scenery for the rest of the trip.

We signed on with Mike Adams for two days on the Kenai. Both days were amazing; one for Sockeye and the other for trout. Mike put us on fish, provided instruction on how to fish and was very attentive to ensure our catch was landed. He's very knowledgeable of the river and the area with our safety and the preservation of the wildlife as a high priority. Would fish with Mike again and highly recommend his services.

Four of us had Mike organize a week-long trip. He did everything to provide us with a once in a lifetime experience. We had Mike guide us for three of the days. He knew the best fishing spots and we caught more than enough salmon to bring home. He also gave us a day drift fishing for trout and I caught the largest rainbow in my life. Mike also arranged a float plane trip. He hooked us up with a great guide and pilot and we caught our limit of sockeye salmon within 2 hours. Finally, Mike scheduled us to go salt water fishing for two days from Homer. The Captain of this boat, again, was excellent and we caught our limit of halibut each day and also caught king salmon. Beside the outfitting, Mike arranged our lodging--comfortable and perfect to enjoy our evenings.

We had a 6 day 7 night Fishing Adventure with Mike Adams at Alaskan Angling Adventure, who arranged and guided our trip. He guided us on three days of fishing for Salmon and Trout. He is very patient and knowledgeable about fly fishing. We caught our limit of Salmon each day! He also, arranged a fly-in trip and a two day Halibut fishing trip in Homer Alaska. Just look at the pictures don't just believe my words. The accommodations were great, the scenery was awesome and the arrangements were incredible. We saw several glaciers, eagles, moose, whales, orca, and of course we caught FISH, over 12 difference species! If you are looking for your "bucket list" adventure of a lifetime, Mike Adams is your one stop adventure guy. I hope I will be able to do it again.

My wife and I spent the day fishing with Mike and its was a completely first class adventure. No matter what your level as long as you're interested in having fun, learning and catching fish Mike is your guy, I've been fishing since I was 4 but by my wife is new to fishing and Mike did a great job of providing what we both needed to improve our ability and learn the water. At the end of the day we both had limits and and the understanding of why we caught the fish. Its obvious Mike takes a lot of pride in his work and his clients success.

Mike made for an amazing salmon fishing day. He had done his scouting and found out based on fish river count entering the river, best location and adjusted. While many spots had numerous groups fishing the banks, he found a spot where we were the only ones. After some fly fishing lessons we started to fish. After some adjustments throughout the day, some tips, we maxed out our count. After Mike cleaned the fish, the only thing left is salmon supper. Thanks Mike for making a lasting memory

Mike is truly an expert and professional fisherman! He has so much knowledge about Alaska (fishing, conservation, etc.) and is willing to share with his guests. Despite the unseasonably cold weather, our party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child) had an amazing time on the river with Mike as our guide. He was very patient and took the time to explain things for all to understand (especially our 11yo son). The picture says it all! 👍
