It was great tour! Lydia showed us as much as possible and gave us so many information about the island! She was also very kind!

I had booked a trip with another provider, but they told me that where i was staying was too far for them to travel. So i booked this...woop woop. Lovely Dutch guide/driver who was really knowledgable, fantastic views, a juice factory that turns out to be lots of alcoholic drinks, and honestly Morea is possibly the most beautiful island in the world. What could not be fantastic.

This was a wonderful island trip and so much fun, as well as very informative about the history. The pineapple plantation was amazing and no exporting, all for the islanders. The pineapple was so sweet and very refreshing, $5 for freshly squeezed, which to me was worth it 😊. The garden in the hills was a little different but certainly worth it, the ride at times was a bit nerve racking. Could also see our cruise ship from that high up. Small river we stopped at, saw some eels, which freaked me out but my friend stroked them. Overall an amazing trip which I would thoroughly recommend.

We loved the 4WD half-day adventure tour of beautiful Moorea. Ron was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island, its people and culture. As we were staying in a resort with limited travel options, we really wanted to see the interior of the island. The highlight was the drive up the rugged, bumpy road to Magic Mountain, where we were rewarded with spectacular views over the entrance to Opunohu Bay. And the smoothies at the Magic Mountain refreshment stop were to die for. Highly recommended.

Ron was an excellent tour guide. There was only one other couple on the tour and we really got to move at our own pace. The stops were varied and it’s a great way to see the inland island highlights if you don’t have your own vehicle (or even if you do - the roads were quite bumpy)! Great view points and stops for fruit tasting and juice/liquor tasting. Ron was very knowledgeable about the island and answered all of our questions. Lovely way to spend an afternoon

We had an amazing day touring and learning about Moorea with our guides, Vai and Ron on the Moorea Island Safari. The tour included stops at a variety of locations, including Magic Mountain’s spectacular views, visiting a pineapple plantation, a distillery, and a local stand where we tasted local fruits and homemade jams. It was an unforgettable day!

We had such a great time. Vie was a wonderful guide, sharing with us history of the island and providing insights into the plants and vegetation. The climb up to many of the lookout areas is very steep with heavy traffic so would highly recommend going with a guide.

We had a great time on the tour and our tour guide was excellent. Figured out why it’s called “ Magic Mountain“ during the tour! What a ride! Wonderful scenic views. Although our final stop was only a 15 minute visit to a black sand beach, it was great. This was an afternoon tour, and there was some confusion as to whether the tour would get back to the cruise ship in a timely fashion. However, our travel agent was able to communicate with the tour, and we were assured that our return would be timely. Once we landed at the wharf, it was easy to find the tour, especially when we saw our names written on a display that was easy to see.

We had a great time discovering the inner island of Moorea with our guide Ron. He as a guide and his stories were real added value to our experience. We definitely recommend him and this trip!

Very thorough. And his driving was fantastic. He went down roads I would never try! He and his wife were quite thorough. I wish there was a little more English spoken between stops about the people and the culture. But all n all I would recommend it anytime. Also to note we had an elderly woman 81 who had previously hurt her hip and they we very gracious and helpful to be sure she saw all she could. Thank you again!!

Great tour! We went all through the mountains and got to see all the sites! Fun going off road and climbing the mountains in the back of the truck. The 4 hour trip toured the northern half of the island and was awesome. Our tour guide was great, informative, nice and funny. It started to rain on us toward the end of our trip and the truck had roll down covers to help keep us dry. All in all I would highly recommend going on this tour!

Our guide, Ron, was wonderful! My favorite part was actually not the views from on top of the mountain, but the abandoned Tahitian Temple! Winding roads up and down mountains, small amount of walking, ideal for any age.

Highly recommend this tour to get around local businesses ( juice, rum, pineapple champagne, fruits, vanilla, etc) with tasting and shopping opportunities. Also with the 4WD high up for amazing views of Cook Bay from Magic Mountain and Le Belvedere. A fun half day tour, good way to see a bit of the island.

I like guides with good local knowledge and that has an emotional tie to the place. This tour will take you through some key view points of the island and let you sample local delicacies along the way. The highlight (for me) was the Magic Mountain. The jeep takes you up on a narrow mountain ridge on ots way to the overlook. Somply amazing. Dont miss this!

My SECOND time around on this tour with Fav Guide Ron, THIS time with my daughter who was itching to see ALL that Moorea had to offer - this Tour COVERS ALOT in half a day and the LOCAL knowledge is awesome, relatable, interesting from the spot where the Bounty was filmed to use of plants, natural and geological history of the islands, human history.... very orsumm tour! HIGHLY Recommended.... not sure if theres anything to see on the other side of the Island yet but we have that gap to shrink in our brains now - so we'll be back to Moorea. :)
