We booked a trip last minute to Tahiti from Florida and thought we would have a hard time booking an experience for whale viewing but Atae made it so easy for us and it was hands down the best part of our visit to Tahiti. They were easy to coordinate with and so much easier than going all the way to Moorea during our short 2 day layover to Bora Bora. They were so knowledgeable and took the time to go over all of the information with us again in English, as the rest of the tour spoke French. We were able to spot and swim with a Mother and her playful baby as well as hear and get in the water with a Singer Male. Overall magical experience to be so close to nature, would hands down suggest you book with Atae.

This is the best snorkeling tour that I have ever done. The guides were amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. The sea scooters allowed us to cover a much larger area than we could have otherwise. We saw so many turtles, leopard rays and fishes, it was unbelievable.

Sylvian and Jeremy were fantastic tour guides and were super friendly. I would definitely recommend them. The snorkelling was amazing with so much to see.

This is one of the best excursions you can take. I highly recommend it. I went with my husband and two kids (age 8 and 10). We all had a blast. Sylvain picked us up at our hotel, provided all the gear, and ensured that everyone had a great time. We got to see a ray, a shark, wrecks, and so many fish in the coral garden. The scooters allow you to see so much and make it accessible to people of all ages. Absolutely exceptional! I would come back and do this again.

Our family of 4 had an amazing time snorkeling with Sylvain around the ships/plane wrecks and the coral reefs. Though not our first snorkeling experience, it was a first with sea scooters. We were the only group in the water that morning with sea scooters. And it was clear that we cover more area than the other groups. The sea scooter also really helped my 9 y.o., who wasn't a strong swimmer, to navigate in the water. Sylvain also brought her a full face snorkel mask to accommodate her dental braces and expander. Sylvain guided us around the reefs. The coral reefs were full of diverse marine life. The highlight was following 2 sting rays for a good distance. It was also fun to pose for photos with the ship and plane wrecks underwater. Sylvain is an excellent photographer. He took many amazing photos and videos of us in the water. We stayed at a resort with pier nearby, so Sylvain dropped us off at the door from the boat after the tour. All the adults and the kids had a blast. 5-stars all around. Highly recommended. Would definitely do this again (hopefully during humpback whales season).

Great sea adventure with lot of interesting information given by Jeremy. He was great, patient, knowledgeable and super supportive!!! Airplane and boat Wrecks were impressive just next to the amazing Polynesian nature. Thank you!!!

It was great and so much fun! Highly recommended for everybody. Jeremy, our guide, made everybody very comfortable. He has great knowledge of marine life and shared with us many interesting information. The plane wreck was awesome!

Fantastic day out with Sylvain and Jeremy today! Very attentive tour guides and their knowledge of the area, ocean and wildlife is inspiring. Drinks and Snacks included, also a wetsuit which we were be dry grateful for, especially for sunburn! The sea scooters were great fun, this was our first time using something like that and we thoroughly enjoyed. Visibility in the ocean today wasn’t the best and the wind had picked up so there was a deep ocean swell, but both Sylvain and Jeremy checked the ocean first for safety and what wildlife were nearby. The area was deemed safe as there was no current but viability was still relatively poor so the option was on us a guests if we’d like to continue. Of course, we continued. This was my partner and I’s first trip to Tahiti from the UK and we had a fantastic morning on the ocean with ATEA. Would definitely recommend, value for money!

Can't say enough good things about Sylvain and Jeremy. Their love of the ocean and the creatures in it was very evident. My wife was originally non too keen on the idea, and admitted to being terrified as she slipped into the water. Jeremy was so kind and patient with her, building her confidence up bit by bit to the point where she was one of the last out and asks can we do it again. We had a great mix of people and S & J are great hosts.

Sylvain was an awesome guide. We could tell he adored marine life and he took us to see everything we wanted to see - turtles, white tips, eagle rays and even dolphins! We saw them fr a respectable distance so they were all in their natural element and did not feel threatened at all! Totally recommend 100 %

Amazing experience! Jeremy & Sylvian great care of us. My boyfriend cannot swim and has never really snorkeled because of this. Jeremy helped him get comfortable in the water and helped him every step of the way. We saw so much sea life! Even stopped to see the spinner dolphins in passing. 10/10 would recommend! They took all the photos and videos on their go pro. So no need to bring a phone or camera into the water unless you really feel comfortable to! The sea scooter is very easy to use but requires 2 hands. It does float if you need to let it go tho.

Such an incredible experience. Sylvain and Jeremy were such a great vibe and went out of their way to make it as fun & enjoyable. We saw as many sea creatures as possible including Turtles, Rays & Sharks. Clearest water ever. Was really one of the best tours I've ever been on.

Amazing experience—definitely recommend booking this tour. We saw SO many fish, dolphins, turtles and rays. It was almost too much to take in at a few points. The guides were fun and patient and very welcoming. We had a great time!

Very professional and action packed, we saw turtles, rays and many fish. The travelling devices are a lot of fun. The crew were friendly and helpful . Good value for money. Highlight was a pod of dolphins that followed us for five minutes really showing off!
