First thing first!!! Booking with costco is a must. We got our own private shuttle from and to the airport and waited no more than 5 minutes. We met an associate from ¨Destination Services¨who provided us information regarding excursion and never pushed the issues to purchase one. Once we arrived at Planet Hollywood, I contacted Julio who is the respresentative for Destintation Services in order to book an excursion. Julio, again with no obligation, no pressure provided us several excursions and ended up booking three of them, at Costco discount price and hassle free. Julio also arragned our shuttle back to the airport once we were ready to leave. Everyone was punctaul, informative, down-to-earth people and genuine. I definitely recommend booking through Costco, and if you book at Planet Hollywood in Costa Rica, you look for Julio.

Great tour, Byron was an excellent guide and made it super fun. Area is very pretty and the people we great. Definitely do it again

The coffee tour was pretty cool. I went with a bunch of people from around here, and the guides were nice enough to do the tour in both English and Spanish. The only downside was that it started an hour later than what TripAdvisor said, and they didn't provide transportation like they said they would. But besides that, the tour itself was really fun.

The guide was great and helped us discover many frogs and other things like spiders and centipedes. We were upset with the fact that we booked a 530pm tour and when we arrived we were told our tour wasn’t until 6:15. Even though our reservation said 530. We had to sit and wait over 45 minutes to start.

Love this place, amazing zipline, lovely views, great operation with lots of safety and proffesional staff. Well come back here

I completed the hanging bridges skywalk in Selvatura Park in Monteverde, Costa Rico. It was a very nice experience. It was raining the entire time, but that didn't put a damper on my self-guided tour. The tour included round trip transfers from my hotel + entrance fee for the skywalk. It was a total of $55. I completed the tour in 2 hours. Although the estimated time was 1 hour. I stopped to take videos and pictures. I also took a brief rest, as there are steps getting up to the bridges, and lots of steps coming down. I highly recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed this walk, and learned a lot. Our guide, Juan, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, although some information I looked up later on walking palms makes me think he wasn't quite so knowledgeable about trees as he is a list snakes and amphibians. He did an amazing job spotting animals to show us, and had a lot of interesting information to impart. He is soft-spoken, so if you weren't close to him, you were likely to miss a few morsels of information. Juan took his time and answered all of our questions. There were several other groups touring at the same time, and that does always impact your experience, but in this case it was managed well and we would recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this tour, the information was Interesting and lush grounds and flowers were so beautiful. Every step from planting , harvesting, and roasting explained and Luis was funny while sharing the details. The meal was delicious. Coffee was excellent.

The scenic activities included in the ziplines or hanging bridges tour will amaze, educate and certainly thrill you!! On the hanging brides tour we saw sloths, exotic frogs and birds, vipers and monkeys. All pointed out and photographed by our guide!!! The hanging bridges tour is about 11k steps over 2 hours. Helps to be somewhat fit. The ziplines activity consists of 6 ziplines over and through the top canopy of the triple canopy rainforest. It was exhilarating and both are unforgettable!!!

The tour was a great overview of the history and culture of San Jose and Costa Rica itself. Hector was amazing in his knowledge and personality and he and the musician, the food, all well done. Would highly recommend !

Enjoyed the night tour in La Fortuna! Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out some interesting wildlife. It was a fun experience, but I think it needs some tweaks. 3 stars!

We did the hike then zip lining. The hike wasn’t so bad super cool seeing the animals. We saw a few monkeys and snakes. The zip lining was tons of fun even in the rain. The guides were amazing and would definitely do it again!

Excellent tour although legroom on bus is tight. Max was an amazing guide and Roy, our driver, navigated some serious traffic issues wonderfully. Breakfast was usual Costa Rican breakfast well prepared. Max knew everything about the coffee farming, guided us through Poas helping us know when the clouds would clear to view the crater. Amazing views. La Paz waterfall gardens were wonderful, buffet lunch, animals, and spectacular waterfalls. Definitely worth the price!

Great time spent rafting and learning abut the ecosystem around the river. Went with a friend and the three of us had a wonderful time, finished off by an excellent lunch.

Highly recommended! The 11am group tour was informative and highly entertaining. Probably the most entertaining tour I’ve ever had! We also did a private tour at 8:30am just with Luis, which I highly recommend. We visited a plantation and he walked us through all the interesting details of how coffee is farmed and the history of it. Luis was amazing and you should definitely do this tour!
