We did combo one - La Fortuna water fall, Arenal Volcano Hike, lunch, Natural Hot River, Volcano mud. It's really fun! Loved all the activities! Norrrlan our guide is really funny, fun and friendly! Highly recommend him! (P.S., it's better to bring water shoes for "water fall" and "hot river", it helped big time walking on the rocks in the water, if you don't have one, you can just buy it here at a small shop, only USD$12.

Our guides were amazing! Very kind and talented at spotting wildlife. They used their telescope thingys to make sure we could see as much wildlife as possible. however, the weather was terrible! It dumped rain on us the entire time :( as a result, the waterfall did not look like what we were hoping for and the trail became quite treacherous. Really slippery, sloshy and overall not great. We couldn’t even swim in the river at the end because of the strong currents. The guide confessed they knew the weather was going to be bad and that the waterfall would not look good, so I do wish they had of given the option to reschedule the tour. Especially as a budget traveller, I am not willing to pay to do the tour again so I was left very disappointed.

Joseph is an attentive and well-versed guide. The process to book, the transportation and the tour itself went seamlessly.

Eric was THE tour guide. He knows his stuff and infuses it with a great sense of humor. I loved that he was just as captivated with the plants and animals for the 400-500th time doing the tours as we were doing the tour the 1st time. He even volunteered to take the photos on our phones for us because he knew just the right way to cast the light, position the camera, etc. A real gem, you're lucky to get him as a guide if you do! PS: He would like to go as "Jose" in the reviews if they are bad, but since this is a good review, I chose to keep his real name.

Frandel was amazing. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. He explained the history of the cultivation of both chocolate and coffee. He took us through the production of both coffee and chocolate. We were able to see the plants from maturation to harvest through production. We were able to taste the fruit in the many stages as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the process of either coffee or chocolate.

We had a great time. It was tiring day but Norlan and Eric made it fun. Norlan is hilarious. Lunch was good. All the guides were knowledgeable and that really helped the quality of the tour. Pura Vida!

Our tour guide Neirtyn was excellent. He exhibited youthful enthusiasm, brought along a telescope on a tripod and a pair of binoculars, and was extremely friendly and pleasant natured. He also had a keen eye for spotting even the smallest of creatures during our hike. To top it off, it was clear that he had studied hard to know the names, growth cycles and other interesting information about both the typical flora and fauna of Costa Rica.

Such a fun adventure, Nafren was a great guide with so much knowledge of the areas and wildlife. Very happy we did this! We got lucky and saw most of the volcano on our day!

Great trip, saw sloths and Toucans on the way there, amazing views of the waterfall and our guide Joseph was very informative and fun, he even found us snakes to take pictures of and had a lovely refreshing dip in the water after, would recommend this trip!

The trip was amazing, Joseph was the best guide we have had the whole time we were in Costa Rica! We saw sloths, toucans, vipers and turtles!!

Josef was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of great context on the tour. He also too time to spot and show us a monkey and a sloth. My first ones!!!
