Our guide Bruce was so knowledgeable and has an incredibly keen eye! Saw a sloth, spiders, multiple exotic frogs, lizards and an Iguana! Totally recommend!

This was a fun and interesting tour. It was a small group of 6 people. Our guide was able to spot so many things I never would have seen, including scorpions and spiders (even a tarantula!). He also took great photos and shared them after the tour. I will say it definitely felt a bit creepier than the night tour in Monteverde, as there’s a lot more bugs, but that meant there was different things to see, which was great! The included transpiration was much appreciated. They were 15 minutes late but communicated that. Overall, highly recommend.

I took a surf lesson at Glen’s school in Manuel Antonio last week. It was amazing and I’d do it a million times again. Sebastian was my instructor and he was fantastic. I also met Glen, the owner, who provided some insight during the initial overview and he was lovely. Sebastian was absolutely delightful to work with and he is an incredible teacher. Heavy focus on safety and technique which I appreciated. Once we got in the water, I was surprised by how quickly I managed to get up. Sebastian’s guidance was very useful and he offered feedback along the way to help me improve. In between waves, he also shared some tips on how best to enjoy wildlife on Costa Rica. I cannot think of a better way to enjoy Manuel Antonio than by learning to surf from such a kind and intelligent human who is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with others. The school also lets you borrow their boards to practice at no additional charge after you’ve completed a lesson, which is nice. I wish I could go back a 1,000 times to surf with Sebastian…definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever done and the highlight of my trip.

Incredible tour, so much information about the plants on the farm, tasting bits as we went which was super interactive. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. The ice cream and biscuits we tried in our break were really divine, my favourite was the chai ice cream. The shop sells some really lovely spices, chocolates and other bits as great souvenirs.

We booked a guided night tour and Alexander Ramos was our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and very patient. Plus, he also helped us take multiple amazing shots with our phone. Unlike other tours we did in other regions of Costa Rica, this tour is way more private and does not feel like a tourist trap where too many groups have to queue for the same spot in order to see something. Alexander was actively searching for wildlife and even used tricks to get attention of the sloth for a great shot. I highly recommend this night tour and especially Alexander!

This was a great experience! Luis and his co-guide (i forget his name) were so fun and passionate. Really good at spotting things we would never have seen by ourselves. Felt very safe and entertained. Beautiful pics from his scope and they got so excited when they spotted something, great job at explaining the creatures role in the ecosystem and fun facts about them. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Luis Venegas is an excellent naturalist, behavioralist and tour-guide. He gave my friend Cliff and I a wonderful guided tour today of Manuel Antonio Park. We learned a lot and have many photos of wildlife thanks to him. Thank you Luis!

We had a great time with knowledgeable guide Luis. We saw lots of wildlife including sloths, frogs, tarantulas and scorpions!

We appreciated the pick-up from our hotel and the flashlights that were provided. The tour was exactly as stated. We toured with Bruce. He was efficient and found us many different species to look at in the dark. He had a good scope which allowed us to see things without disturbing the animals. We have no idea how he managed to find as many things in the forest as he did. Many were large and creepy which was a bit scary for me. You have no idea what is living in these areas until someone shows you. Interesting but not for the faint of heart.

I used Glen Castro for my surfing lesson and parasailing. My surf instructor, Sebastian, was an excellent surfer and attentive instructor. Added perk of doing the lesson through Glen Castro was that he lets you use the surfboard for free for the rest of your time in Manuel Antonio. Also, Glen was kind enough to put a chair and umbrella out for my wife for no extra cost. Parasailing was done with one of the two main groups at the beach (I guess Glen was a salesperson for them?). It was my first time parasailing, but it felt totally safe. Highly recommend trying it!

Such a great tour with the best guide. We saw so many cool things and great company! Not only did we see the most poisonous snake, but also saw lizards, spiders, frogs, scorpions. Thank you!

We loved the night tour. It was educational and fun hearing and seeing the night life of the jungle. We were able to see lots of wildlife. Luis was an amazing guide.

Luis is the best guide you can even imagine! He knows everything about the fauna, he sees what no normal eye can see. He takes stunning pics and videos with explanation. He respects the nature and only does small and quiet tours. And as propably all people in Costa Rica he is so so kind and friendly. The tour was worth each cent we spent and much more. Pura vida!!!

Luis was a wonderful tour guide. He is super intelligent, was able to offer the tour in English and in Spanish without any compromise either way. He was able to tell us stories about all the fun animals we found on the way. He has a super sharp eye and missed nothing as we walked around. He took amazing photos and videos for us as well. Truly overall an amazing experience 10/10 recommend

I had the pleasure of two tours with Bruce. He is amazing! The night jungle tour he shares caution to keep you safe. We saw birds, lizards, a scorpion, a snake, many frogs and more. He is knowledgeable and has an amazing sense of humor.
