This was an excellent tour and great value for the money. Our guide Hazel was very knowledgeable and kept things running smoothly. The variety of experiences we had gave us an overview of the area and only made me want to return to Costa Rica. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day in Puntarenas. Our guide for the day - J ( the best guide we could ask for). So well informed, nice and polite. Everyone in our group had the same experience. We spent the whole day around Puntarenas, we have been taken into few different, interesting, “must see” spots and we had really good time. We can recommend this excursion for 100%. Buyer beware. Viator tour company is a scam. They DON'T GIVE YOU THE TOUR YOU PAY FOR. Our family booked a tour that was Is supposed to include, Not only a guided monkey tour. But also Is chocolate And coffee tasting as well as a lunch. After the monkey tour Our bus driver took us back to the pick up spot and drop this off. We were advised that the tour we paid for only included the monkeys. Only after talking to a manager and providing him the Actual listing in itinerary where we advised that the tour Pos. Ting was a mistake and should not have actually been posted. But we were not the only ones who were duped. Everyone on our tour van thought they were getting a different tour than what was actually provided. If you are going to book an excursion in costa rica go directly to the source and do not use VIATOR.

No problem with the pick up we found the tour meeting point easily. The mini bus was comfortable and air-conditioned and our tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable. We had an excellent trip enjoying the scenery, wild life and a good lunch. Very good value.

Overall very good day, the highlight of which was the Tarcoles Crocodile River tour . Slightly misleading stating 10 in 1 but would highly recommend . Driver was great and Hazel the guide from start to end very informative and helpful First stop money house is an acquired taste but cute Next stop at a fruit stand incl Banos break Next stop at a hotel in the jungle area , not a lot to see but a nice break The river tour was the highlight , its dry season so wildlife limited but good selection of birdlife and a few small to medium size Crocs and one large older one. Easy to get on and off boat and great breeze even in 90°. Lunch at a retreating on hill top , simple but adequate traditional CR meal Last stop was at a tourist shopping area Drove back thru a local town My biggest complaint was lack of communication , tried multiple times prior to trip to confirm the reservation but zero response. Big improvement needed there Overall very good trip, bus help approx 20 people, nice small group and would recommend to get a quick snapshot of CR

We used Odyssey Tours Private transportation for an 8 day trip for 12 people. Ricardo was our driver and tour guide. The tour guide I hired was a no show and Ricardo did more than fill that role. He was with us always, made reservations, communicated with the translator app so we both learned from each other. This was our 3rd year to use Odyssey Tours but our first time to have the pleasure of Ricardo and his fun loving personality. The van was always cleaned, supplied with waters, coolers with ice and more. I can not say enough about Ricardo. Thank you also to the boss for trusting me after the debacle the week prior to the trip. You are all awesome. I can't wait to plan next year's trip with Ricardo. Pura Vida

We had excellent experience. Our guide Vinny met us at the dock as scheduled. The Monkey House was the highlight for me. Was a very complete tour of the Puntarenas area. Saw Monkeys, Crocodiles, Macaw's, Had Coconut from road side store and much more. Guide Vinny & Driver Roy went above expectations. Well done!!!

The tour was perfect for what we wanted. We got to see the town, the monkey house, the boat tour was fabulous, the bus was comfortable. The driver was good and Hazel our tour guide was unbelievable! Knowledgeable, friendly, sweet, interesting. Then we went up to a restaurant on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains, and the ocean and the food was fabulous! I would highly recommend this tour. They were very responsible in getting us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. The pick up was simple, right at the end of the dock and they were waiting there for us. I can only say wonderful things about our guide Hazel, our driver and the tour. Everything very good, except our lunch in restaurant, where was a lot flies. We got a lot of fun with monkeys 🐵 and the excellent river tour. We enjoyed by the wild nature of Costa Rica!🇨🇷

It is a beautiful December Saturday morning, we joined a “Scenic Costa Rica” shore excursion of our Cruise Lines. Caldera Puerto is the main freight port in the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Our bus took us through a sightseeing drive to Esparza, a town that is one of the most picturesque in Costa Rica's Central Pacific region. Upon arrival of Esparza schools (elementary school in daytime and High school in night) a handful of kids dancers in colorful dresses greeting us. Our last stop was at “El Jardin”that’s a local souvenir and had an opportunity to browse around the shop, sample their delicious fruits or taste a Costa Rican cup of coffee. On the way to the port, the Right Front tire of our Bus was flattened with a loud explosion sound. Luckily our driver managed to move our Bus to roadside safely. About one half hour later, another Bus took us to cruise ship safely. .

Very professional. Prompt Comfortable van Two thumbs way, way up to our guide, Hazel, who was incredible. Very knowledgeable and informative with a keen eye for spotting wildlife. She took the time to ensure we all got opportunities to see the wildlife and answered all our questions. If we return, I would ask for her by name.

We had a fabulous day doing the 10 in 1 tour. Our guide, Hazel and our driver, Michael were amazing! We had a group of 15 and everyone had a great time. All Odyssey Tours are fantastic. We have done many and would highly recommend Odyssey Tours in Costa Rica. Alvaro and Diego are the greatest! We saw so many monkeys, crocodiles and 18 spieces of birds. The lunch was delicious!

Very well organized tour. Air conditioned coach was very comfortable. The sight seeing stops were very interesting. Compliments to our guide “Hazel”. She was very informative, friendly, and a wonderful guide.

Had a great tour Guide Enrico and our driver Kiki they both were the best……. they gave us very special attention at each stop, helps me with getting in and out of the van (a newer Mercedes Step-van). We saw a lot, great shopping stop, took us to a great lunch stop, that I’m sure that only the locals knew about, they made a special stop for me to acquire a special gift that I was looking for then took us to a supermarket to buy adult beverages and water to take back to the cruise ship. Couldn’t have asked for a better day, thank you Enrico and Kiki. !
