Booked the 3 hour with the waterfall on the buggie. Spent around 30 minutes at the waterfall, 30 minutes at this restaurant/bar at the top of a hill with a nice scenic view. I ordered a nice tequila sunrise and pina colata. The rest of the time driving. The guide offered to take a bunch of pictures and. Really fun tour went during rainy season and was super cool.

AXR and our tour guide Pepe was the BEST PART of our Costa Rica tour. Pepe was genuine, personable, direct, transparent, and professional. He truly deserves a raise! We also did the horseback riding which was peaceful and healing. We appreciate AXR and one day hope to come back to Jaco for another tour!

ATV tour with Carlos as a guide was awesome. We took two quads as there were eight of us and some did not want to drive. The road was very scenic and we stopped several times to take photos. The waterfall was beautiful and the hike to see it was very well laid out and safe. Next stop was to jump from a small cliff. The water was very refreshing in both spots. The restaurant on the mountain was so good and probably one of my favorite meals while in Jaco. If you take this tour, make sure you ask for Carlos.

Very professional service and top notch equipment. I highly recommend this place. You can also rent and go out on your own instead of having a tour guide.

Fun time. It had rained all day, and it was a little muddy, but that made for even more fun in the jungle. Pepe did a great job. Stopped in a few of the small villages for a refreshment and chatted with the locals. Steve

WHAT A FREAKNG BLAST! We opted for the 3-hr. tour the through the forest and to the waterfall. Our tour consisted of 3 people: the guide, my husband and myself. I was quite surprised that they did not try to put us into a larger group. As such, the guide was very attentive to our needs and desires. Stops were as frequent as we wanted; the waterfall was an added delight, and the terrain ride thru fields and stream beds (wet and dry) was fantastic! When visiting the area, you should definitely make this a "MUST DO!" Our guide was wonderful, easy going and a pleasure to be with.

This is by far one of the best tours I’ve ever done. The experience was beyond amazing and incredibly fun but what really made it the best was our tour guide Gabriel! He went above and beyond in showing us the warmth that the people in Costa Rica show to their guests. He catered to our individual wants by going out of his way to get a coconut that my 8 year old son had been looking for. He also pointed out tucans, macaws and a sloth that we wouldn’t have been experienced to spot (my request) and for my husband and 15 year old stepson he allowed them to be more extreme. If you are in this are of Costa Rica do not hesitate for a second to book your tour with them and ask for Gabriel! I promise you will have the time of your life!!!!

Steven at the reception is a crook!!! He's apparently known for adding bogus "insurance related" costs for obscure fixes after your ride and skimming from the pot. I got charged for a scratch on the bottom of the ATV after an off roading adventure.....not sure how that works. When I said I wouldnt pay i was threatened with the law..Be careful when you go here. He's well known in the area for his schemes apparently.

Great experience! Newer equipment. Staff were great. Pack water, sunscreen and snacks for the ride. We had a 3 hour tour and stopped for a delicious meal on the hill top mountain before heading back. Try their homemade hot sauce!!!

Good responsive and reliable guys- we rented an ATV for one week and they dropped it to us in Playa Hermosa on time and picked it up when we left. Very honest and upfront. No surprises and a great value. Thanks guys! John and Kelly from Colorado.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! DO NOT GO HERE! This company does terrible business and is not looking out for your best interest. I will never use this company again! AXR will charge you THOUSANDS of dollars in damages (unjustifiably). There are so many other places that offer the same tour that will not try to scam you. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, I wish we had!

Danny our guide was great! He stopped multiple times to show us things and answered all of my inquisitive son’s questions. The views were amazing and not to be missed. Danny was also great at capturing photos of our family throughout our tour. The Talon was a lot of fun and in great condition. Definitely bring or purchase a gator or bandana to help with the dust. Goggles were provided which was great.

So much fun!!! Amazing scenery and a total blast!! Great guides. We had Francisco and he is awesome!! We have done it multiple times and it never gets old, thrilling ever time. Must do in CR!!

Rented buggies and went to the waterfalls machines ran great. We were a big group. Everything was efficient and safe. Highly recommend using AXR
