PlayaGrande Shuttle and Tours was very punctual. They stopped at the rent a car place for us to meet other family members. The service to and from the airport was very easy.

We are a family of 16 and just returned from seven days in Costa Rica. We used PlayaGrande for our driving needs and all 16 of us cannot recommend them highly enough! Jose and Guillermo were our drivers and both did a phenomenal job; they were kind, friendly and funny. Jose became part of the family, and was a highlight of the trip! Playa Grande tour company was excellent, accommodating and friendly in the most 'pura vida' way! Our drivers, Jose and Giullermo were absolute gems - especially Jose who we were with for 4 days. He was so kind - a part of the family of 16! He helped us with so much and gave such great advice. Jose really made the trip special for us - Pura Vida! Our drivers were punctual and knew the timing of each drive so we could plan perfectly. They were happy to make adjustments so we could make a stop for convenience or a quick shop/snack. Well stocked cooler each time too. We got stuck in bad traffic on Jose's last day and didn't even frown, just smiled the entire time and was so so kind! We LOVED all of the excursions we booked through PlayaGrande - very safe, experienced staff, clean facilities, beautiful views and FUN! Our private boat tour was my personal favorite. The boat was immaculate, comfortable and the capitan/staff was excellent. We saw two whales, they led us snorkeling and on a hike on the island and cooked an excellent lunch. The ziplining and horseback riding at Vistas Los Suenos Adventure park were excellent as well - beautiful area, friendly staff who were very experienced at each activity.

We recently returned from our trip to the beautiful Costa Rica - we used Playa Grande Shuttle & Tours Costa Rica for both pick up from the airport to our resort (approx 1.5 hours away) as well as back to the airport at the end of our trip. The booking process was smooth and the company was extremely responsive. Both trips were seamless from pick up as soon as we left baggage claim at the airport to waiting for us at the front door of our resort to head back home. Both drivers were excellent drivers, very friendly and provided history and information on our rides. We highly recommend this company!

Playa Grande Shuttle & Tours was wonderful to work with! Jose was a wonderful chauffeur during our day long excursion to Monteverde, the Cloud Forrest and lunch! Lunch at a local restaurant was a great experience and great food! They also did an amazing job arranging a photographer for us to take family photos on the beach! Vehicles were clean. Water and cold beverages were provided. Drivers were friendly and helpful. We used this company for all our excursions through the week. Payment was easy. Communication via WhatsApp worked well.

Great experiences each and every time. We went on several tours -waterfall tour, adventure combo tour (which I highly recommend for active adults and teens) and also did the sports fishing on the Striker boat. Boat was amazing with open bar and great homemade snacks. Caught several fish which they cleaned for us and which we ate for dinner that night. Shuttle service was excellent every time. They picked us up each time with a cooler full of beer, water and other drinks. Our driver Guillermo not only was there waiting for us at the airport when our flight was 3 hours late but even made a special stop for us when we saw a brewery and wanted to stop in for a beer. Ride was always punctual, clean, safe, and air conditioned. Highly recommend.

This was a great asset for our trip. It took away so much stress knowing we had reliable transportation. Drivers were wonderful and handled all of our large groups luggage! Waters and ice cold beer were a great perk! Our driver even treated us to snacks from a restaurant along the way.

Exciting experience. Good quality equipment. Snorkeling beaches were nice but beware not a lot of time is spent at each beach so it was better spent as a swim in the water.

We had an absolutely amazing time. Jose, our guide, was perfect with our kids. They were attracted to his friendliness and information right away. He was our driver for another excursion as well. He truly made our experience phenomenal. The refreshing swim in the waterfall was such a treat in the clear blue water. Overall this was a unique experience that all ages of our group enjoyed.
