Gauthier is a great instructor with many good teaching techniques. The training in the class was quite beneficial prior to getting in the water. In the water I had some issues with equalizing and he was able to adapt techniques on the fly making me able to get it. Great times would recommend, got to see some good wildlife

The AIDA Level 2 freediving course with Gauthier was fantastic! He’s a great instructor - knowledgeable, patient, and fun. I gained confidence and skills while really enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!

I spent an awesome week spearfishing with Freedive Costa Rica! Friendly staff, cool diving spots, plenty of fish. It was great! Definitely recommend it if you’re in the tamarindo area. It’s perfect for both beginners who want to try out spearfishing or for those already experienced!

The experience was very good and the crew was excellent. The instructor was very clear and helped me a lot. The students were also very friendly.

Great shop, equipment, and dive pro. I would go again. The freediving is important if you want to spearfish so do that first.

Guide was excellent. Materials decent, although the boat is old. However, the conditions were poor, and a next trip for later in the day was already planned, so the tour knowingly gives a mediocre experience. December is not the time of year to take the snorkeling trip.

Booking was easy and Gauthier was super helpful and very cool to hang with! Sea scooters were neat and easy to use. We’ll definitely try other activities on our next trip. Pura Vida!😊

We did the freediving and the spearfishing course and had a blast! Gauthier and Christian were both amazing! Both were great teachers and were able to tailor the experience to everyone's individual level. 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be signing up for more courses with Freedive Costa Rica next time we're back!

We did the snorkeling tour with the boat. Kids were very happy, and instructor very helpful and kind. One of the best experiences in Costa Rica.

Despite some rain and cloudy skies, Gauthier provided us with a super fun and memorable experience! The sea scooters were a blast - highly recommend over a typical snorkeling trip. They were easy to handle and made snorkeling in somewhat choppy waves more manageable. We would definitely do this one again. Thanks for a great time and the ride home G!

10/10 experience. Gautye is an incredible free diver. Him and captain Dani were really generous with their time and consideration, took us to great spots and we caught some tasty fish.

Gauthier is a formidable athlete and I had a great time learning how to Freedive with him. When I was starting, I was absolutely terrified of water, kept panicking a ton in the water and I couldn’t hold my breath even for a min. He progressively helped me get to 12m depth and a breath hold of 2 min. I feel a lot more confident in the water and the whole course helped me really get to the bottom of my general anxiety disorder I have been battling. I highly recommend taking this course to realize your true potential.
