Nacho is amazing! He's super easygoing and knowledgeable. He was always early for each pickup, handling both our airport pickup and drop-off. He also took us to Diamante Adventure Park and waited for us the entire day. He possesses many tremendous qualities. We loved his patience with all our questions. I especially appreciated him practicing Spanish with me during our drives. I highly recommend booking him as your guide and for transportation during your stay in Costa Rica.

The Combo Adventure was a highlight for this 75 year old in Costa Rica. It was a very full day which included 8 zips over the beautiful river(thrilling), and a horse back ride to the river to get our tubes. The tubing was so exhilarating!! Be sure to have a change of clothes! The lunch included many choices and tasted so good after the activities. Next we donned our bathing suits to be painted with volcanic mud and soak in the hot springs. A perfect ending to our breathtaking day. There were several employees who took us through these activities and made us feel safe. Lastly our very competent driver, Rene, took us to a great souvenir shop then dropped me at the door of my airbnb. FYI, photos were being taking along the way and you purchase them for only $10 and have them sent to your email.

Our driver Ignacio (Nacho) was amazing! I wish we had Nacho drive us on all of our tours!! His van was clean, he pointed out the cashew , and mango trees and also the many birds. He offered to stop on the way if we needed to pick up anything at a store. He also gave us maps. The tour with Daniel was good. Wear sturdy shoes. The trail was rocky and there were holes. We used flashlights and walked in a line. On the beach we could see the turtles nesting and that was cool! We watched them crawl back into the ocean.

Ignacio (“Nacho”) drove us back to the airport today. He spoke beautiful English and was very knowledgeable about his beloved country. We had plenty of time to get to the airport as recommended, which allowed for a break at THE tourist stop: all the souvenirs you didn’t buy on your trip are available, as well as clean bathrooms, complimentary coffee tasting and a mini restaurant and market. Needless to say, we want to hire Nacho to be our driver whenever we come to Costa Rica in the future. Five stars!

On a recent stay in Tamarindo, we were looking for something to do in touch with nature but wanted to avoid a long roundtrip transfer. Nacho Tours picked us promptly at our hotel in Tamarindo and we drove all of mile and a half to the launch point. Perfecto! Daniel, our guide, and his young assistant were great. Daniel has extensive knowledge of the river estuary flora and fauna and was quick to point out everything of interest. On any given day, of course, you are subject to what wildlife is active and observable. We were lucky enough to see a couple of crocodiles, a tribe of monkeys, some unusual birds and a group of curious raccoons. The tour starts on the widest part of the river not far from its outlet to the Pacific Ocean and gets narrower as you proceed. While the boat is covered and offers decent sun protection, it was nice to get into the shade of the mangroves. Communication with the guide and the office were great and we feel we got good value for the price charged. On the way back to town, I asked our guide for advice about local sodas and he happily shared his experience and preference.

We use NachO for multiple private transfers over the course of our stay in Tamarindo. He also helped us with a separate transfer from Tamarindo to Monte Verde and was awesome. He is fully prepared with snacks, drinks, and juice boxes. Great recommendations on places to eat, surf lessons, and things to do while in town. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful, relaxing boat tour. We saw crocodiles, herons, monkeys, etc. There were so many babies and toddlers on the boat and the crying perhaps kept the animals away. An adult only tour would be a great option. We were able to get off the boat and walk through the jungle and saw some monkeys! The description of the tour should let you know you'll be doing this so you can dress appropriately. The guide was excellent; friendly and happy and pointed out animals. Go early in the morning before it gets too hot.

Excursion starts on the east side of Tamarindo. Nacho was great, made sure we had drinks and snacks. He did not come on the tour (lack of space), but knew the guide/boat operator well. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we saw lots of wildlife including iguanas, lots of birds, monkeys and two small crocodiles. Boat was comfortable enough and the water was calm. Was 2 hours long.

Booked a trip to the adventure park from Playa Hermosa with Nacho for 6 of us. Zip lining, water slide, horseback riding, hike to a waterfall, mud bath, hot springs, a wonderful lunch on the hilltop with a fantastic view, and a cultural presentation. Nacho was very responsive and accommodating. We were lucky to have Nacho and Ramon (biologist from Buena Vista) as our personal guides. Ramon was a wealth of knowledge on the area and ecosystem. Nacho was Johnny on the Spot with a camera, drinks, and snacks and always making sure we were getting what we wanted out of the trip. Doing it as a personal customized tour rather than with a bigger group was so worth it. Would highly recommend this tour group to anyone.

Nacho was great! He provided us transportation from the airport to Tamarindo, our excursions and to our next location we were staying at. He was amazing and we cannot say enough good things about him and his team, it was a pleasure that our family was in his hands. When we return he will be out first call!!!

Nacho is the absolute best and I can't recommend him enough for any of your needs while traveling in Costa Rica! He helped us get to and from the Liberia airport when we visited Tamarindo. He was so kind and thought of literally everything for us to feel comfortable - especially after a long day of traveling. When we arrived he had snack and juice for the kids and Costa Rican beers for the parents! It was a great way to start our trip in Costa Rica. The conversation on the way to Tamarindo was wonderful and we learned a lot from Nacho about the city and the best way to do things. After such a great experience, we asked him to take us back to the airport at the end of our trip. It was the perfect note to end on! We can't recommend Nacho enough!

Nacho was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much for him. He thought of the little things like drinks and snacks for our drive. The ATV tour itself was lots of fun. When one of the ATVs broke down another was brought quickly and without a fuss. Highly recommend.

Best ATV tour! We had a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed it! Must do if you’re in Costa Rica.great for large groups. Tour guide is super chill and accommodating.
